Personally I have 2 stocks that I own shares from (Thungela and Purple Group) in my ZAR account,
4 ETFs (Satrix Top40, Satrix S&P500, Coreshares Total World and Sygnia 4th Industrial Revolution) in my TFSA and I've activated my EE RA which I'm going to start contributing to next month 😊 My strategy is to add to my TFSA and RA first and then if I have extra money I want to add to my stock shares.

It was unwise to buy Anglo American Platinum as the share was at its peak! In the financial markets, you buy undervalued shares not over valued shares. My advise is that, after your research you should analyse the Share price before you buy the shares. Otherwise, I love your channel and keep the videos coming.❤️✨

I'm still working on funding my portfolio 😩. Not easy with me being a student and all. I also gained some knowledge through experience (the little that I have anyway). I just invested in random companies when I first started then I analyze which ones are thriving, which ones are not and why. Also because I'm still young I can (God forbid) afford to lose everything in my investment portfolio and start again. (Also because I'm investing with little money compared to most people). But this has gained me so much knowledge and I feel like I will be making better decisions when I finally am able to put big buck in my portfolio
Hey Karabo, starting small is okay, put in those small amounts whenever you can. Also use your Demo accounts to purchase those shares that you’d like to purchase when you have money to invest in your real accounts 😇
Exxaro would be similar to Thungela 😂😂 I also don't want a portfolio that is all over the place because I want to be able to water it every month. I have also been watching Sibanye closely.
Yes that’s correct 💯 Thungela and Exxaro. I like that expression “water it every month”💧Sibanye is a great one to hold too, received a nice dividend from them just the other day.

I was looking at the Sibanye graph today, it tells you how volatile that share is. It will be exciting to watch especially during bullish moments.

I've been selling and withdrawing left right and center . But I am back at it again. Haven't invested just focusing on making the money. I have a maximum of 15 holdings in my Zar account and will not be adding till next year

@@chatwithtisa it doesn't alone with my long-term investment strategy. I do not believe in it enough to not panic when it goes down...I was also over diversified needed to decrease my exposure

In January 31st I invested in purple group and I realised after few weeks that it was going down then as soon as it went up again I sold it
In March I invested in mr price and sanlam and I was happy with the growth
Will you buy purple group again? It’s one of those companies that will stay in my portfolio for years, I’ll keep buying more while the price is low.

Guess what, i've finally decided to start with a few thousands on Purple Group, Kumba Iron and Thungela. I dont know how is will turn-up but im just glad coz instead of spending my money on clothes or junks, im taking a chance into financial freedom, something my children will look at one day and say momy was smart😊😊😊

So the profits you see only become real profits when you sell your shares, you can’t have the profits without selling some of the shares, it works differently to saving. But if a company pays out dividends that money can be paid to your EE balance and you can use that money to buy more shares. Hi. What is the difference between a TFSA and an EasyEquities zar account? Do I need both?
TFSA is the tax free savings account. You can’t buy equities on it

for the fact that Sibanye Stillwater is in top 5 production of almost every precious metals, thought of it being anything less than R567.27 is pure undervaluation by Mr Market, but many will sideline this company... it is having a solid portfolio and their financial reports are positively stronger than most mining companies, and the topping cherry is that they pay out dividends, which l think every investor is interested in.... what do you think about the price tag l put as fair valuation for the stock???😅😅😅

Each and every company states whether or not they pay dividends, where they give us dividend yield percentages... Fi they write 0%,know they don't offer dividends

I maxed out the tax free savings account, 36k, on ETFs.
I want to put away 100k. Any advice for an amateur where to put the remaining 64k?
