After watching your vids I went and tried opening my EE account only to find out that I had one already for couple of years butonly started using it late last year. I'm not as consistent as I would love to be and I have just been focusing on ETFs and not particularly individual stocks cos a bit of research has to be done before one can put in money in them. However, you have proved that being in the market beats timing the market. Thanks for another great vid and happy investing. 🙏🏾❤🇿🇦

I also sold Woolworths at a profit of about 4.5% profit cause it was in the red for a very long time. EC10 sold it at about 15% profit and made a quick profit. From now on I want to rather look at long term investment. Rather than making a quick profit and deinvest.
We should have been more patient with Woolworths 🙃 EC10 had a lot of potential profit wise, it’s worth the wait. I’m all for long term investing as well 🙌🏾

I remember somewhere In 2020 I bought EC10, each share was R10, I can't remember how many shares I bought. I also bought sasol shares at R30, can't remember how many shares I bought. Last year around may i was on 100% profit (both companies) that's when decided to withdraw all the money I invested plus profit.
I regret now seen how EC10 is at now, as well as sasol. I have learned a lesson hey. I am starting all over again
The more I wacth your videos and do my own research, the more I realize there's so much essential info and spheres that I don't know of. This is really interesting content, please keep this positive energy going.

Ntwana I started my investing after I met your video and you inspired me in February this year. Since then I've been making a lot of mistakes by panicking and selling and rebuying again when I see the company going back on green.
So from watching this video to day I think ngizoba be plug from now on ngibekezele when I'm on the red. Kahle kahle I must delete my easy equities app cos I stay on it everyday and that's when I start to panic.

You really ask great questions. I haven’t looked into the EE RA yet, this would also make a great discussion point and I’ll make time for it.
The document can be found under statements when you click on the menu icon on the top left corner.
Woolworths is doing well now. The share started doing well again after the financial year end press conference in March 2022 😁

I'm new,just recently bought shares on January so some companies that I bought shares from are always on red since I bought so I decided to sell them and check other companies so my question is does this think won't affect my 5 year time frame
Hi Lunga, it’s important to wait out those red moments, they can really take time. As a new investor I also had my moments of being impatient, but now I just invest and leave it alone.

Hey Khuselwa, no I don’t, I invest different amounts depending on the amount of shares I want to buy and the share price.

Don't they always say "buy the dip and not sell the dip"... I think after i lost more than 50% in my property income fund unit trust i can stomach any red or losses.
That thing hasn't recovered and am not selling until i make my money back.
Property unit trusts are bad news. I had some for a number of years and the value had been lower than what I put. Just this week I decided to switch them to another fund. At least with unit trusts switches are allowed without selling in order to buy another fund.
The day the gain hit a million 🙆🏾♀️🫢 I don’t know how I’ll act 😄
I know they say “buy the dip” I get why they would say don’t sell it 😉
Loses can help build stamina, there will always be that one that gets you unexpectedly and stay red for a long time.
I understand the not selling till you get your money back 🙈

Hey sis, I have notice that most companies you buy for more ad sell for less e.g a company you buy at R50 and you sell it for R48.90, is that a huge loss?
The selling price also changes depending on supply and demand etc. You can assess if that’s enough for you or not. Investing long term may result in greater returns ✨

One year isn't really long enough. I've started this year. My strategy is to be in this for 5 years before I think about selling anything. Very much a longer-term investment strategy as opposed to simply trading.
