Composed in 1958 by Maestro Liu Ming Yuan, "Xi Yang Yang" (Full Of Joy) is a famous traditional Chinese Music played with the Banhu as the lead instrument (板胡, a type of Huqin instrument). This piece has a joyful rhythm and has a lively tune, and is played during joyous festivals such as Chinese New Year, often rearranged for various different ensemble formats and instruments.
