Most purple and brown belts I roll with don’t really try to a lot against me, considering I’m a lower belt rank, but they do add resistance and counters.
Maybe a submission attempt or takedown attempt to see how I react.
They do in fact make me really work for everything I want to do though, that’s for sure lol.

Yesterday against a brown, I managed to only get tapped twice as opposed to the usual 4 😂

Only advice I have is attack the turtle more. You seemed pretty content there and letting them figure out how to escape versus giving them something to worry about. Also when you went on knee on belly from the camera angle it looked like she gave you an armbar. Then around 4 min mark during standup it seems you chicken wing your elbows a lot. A lot of guys would push the elbow up to shoot or move in to take your back. When I collar tie/grab back of the neck I keep my elbow down.

@@dezdaking Np, good luck at the tourny. I'm out of Texas. Been doing Jujutsu for over 10years. I used to compete back in my 20s. Did BJJ tourny, Judo tourny, then made my way into MMA. I would like to do one more MMA fight before I hang up competition and just train for self defense only. 💪💪💪💪
Can see she knows how to move, but it’s just not the same rolling with women.
There is always an element of care you have for your training partners to not injure them, but it’s doubly so when against women.
