He’s a terrible person… that’s all I can say based on the numerous accounts made in opposition to him as well as many accounts of people receiving terrible quality / broken figures, if you search up republic bricks hate online you will find all that you need to know. 😂😂

For both the ghost and phantom it’s $500. Even then who know how old those BrickLink estimates are. You have to add the shipping you’ll pay there as well

I imagine, assuming the Ghost and the Rebels crew does show in Ahsoka, that LEGO will make a new Ghost. With the popularity of Ahsoka in The Mandalorian (and in general), I could see a lot of people watching Rebels for the first time to learn more about the Rebels crew (again, assuming), leading to increase desire for a Ghost. LEGO isn't the best about giving fans what they want but financially, a new Ghost could be very profitable. The old one will certainly increase in price; I know after Ahsoka showed up in the Mandalorian, the Ahsoka book jumped in price temporarily. I'm sure the LEGO sets surrounding Rebels and Thrawn, etc., will do that as well, only not temporarily. A new Ghost would be great for fans and for LEGO.

I like the republic brick products but it seems like more often than not the store has hiccups and service issues
I was planning on buying something from him, asked a really simple and reasonable question regarding the ARC-170 and got a surprisingly rude response.

@@tylerpinniger9958 I asked if the ARC-170 came with the decals (shown in the pictures and the review copy he sent MandR) and he didn’t respond. I followed up and he said “of course not why would they be included”. It wasn’t super rude but just unnecessarily aggressive, it’s also kinda false advertising since it’s not stated on the site and the review copy included them. It’s less than $1 worth of pieces so it’s not a huge deal but his negative reaction turned me off.

The Ghost and the Phantom II are my favourite ships in Star Wars ever. I main them in SWGOH's fleet battles. Glad to see such a solid LEGO custom!
Also, the reason why the Ghost has so many Millennium Falcon-esque design cues is because its manufacturer is Corellian Engineering Corporation, the same company who produced Han Solo's YT-1300 light freighter (better known as the Millennium Falcon) and Dash Rendar's YT-2400 "Outrider".
In "Solo: A Star Wars Story" Han actually mentions that he "owns" a VCX-100, hinting that he thinks it's a great model of ship.
Those little trinkets in the two rooms are indeed holocrons. The pink/red one is the Sith holocro Ezra retrieved at the Sith temple on Malachor, and the yellow one is probably Kanan's (although I think blue would've been more appropriate)
I'm just a really big Rebels fan :)

I really dislike republic bricks.. $400 can get you much more lego if spent elsewhere. This is a theme for his products, over priced!
As someone who is really dissapointed in not being to find a reasonably priced Ghost with minifigures can you maybe recommend some ways that I can spend my money as you say in your comment? Maybe wait for the full summer wave or buy some sets that are retiring? New Lego buyer here and would appreciate any tips!

@@GregoryAssault personally, a great looking “spaceship” would be the Guardians of the Galaxy ship that came out last summer. Nearly 2,000 pieces for $150, and it’s a beautiful model!

If I'm not mistaken, those corner areas are for cargo storage fortheGhost crew (they are smugglers, among other things, after all).
I counted the studs on this model and the original set and they're very close to being the same size, which makes me wonder why the larger, original Phantom set couldn't dock in the back, as with the original Ghost. The Ghost and The Phantom might be scaled like that in the Rebels show, but as you already pointed out, this set here also isn't minifigure-friendly, in the way that you can't put helmets on most figures. I like the external look of this model, but my original Ghost and both Phantom versions are still my favourites.
I owned the original set but it was in pieces so a week ago,I took the time to actually rebuild my set. It’s missing some pieces and I had to use alternate pieces but I’m proud of what I made and I’m glad I don’t have to pay $400+ for another one
I could never spend that kind of cash for a model when the guy getting that cash can't even make sure that the pieces he sends to u for a review r tanned that bad. Just the fact that he thought that would be ok and could just say something like "I'm real busy and can't check every piece for quality" or whatever the excuse would be shows he is just in it for the money and doesn't really care if his customers r happy. Timmy has a lot to learn when it comes to business and customer relations.

In November 2020 I snagged the Ghost and Phantom with all minifigs on eBay for Buy Now price of £80.
I brought the ghost 2nd hand for 450nzd . It was heavily sun damaged so I restored it with new bricks. Very happy I have one as I've only seen 2 on market. Very rare in nz
What are the odds they make a new one for the Ahsoka show? If they do a new Zeb they should recolor the Demogorgon legs.

Well considering that the last 2 years now we have been getting the main ship of the summer show releasing at the time I’m pretty sure next years will be a ghost remake.
The Ashoka trailer did show a few familiar faces from Rebels so I wouldn’t doubt it.

I’ve always consider Republic Bricks as baby’s first custom. Similar instructions and building techniques as lego but still has all the little kinks that comes with building custom sets
Brickvault is miles better. Plus you don’t get blocked when asking simple questions

@@chicknorris9602 republic bricks is notorious for blocking people who question his pricing etc, even simple questions will cause him to either block you or barrage you with toxic messages. It’s been well documented and is known.

I started back into Lego Star Wars wanting the Rebels sets. I got the Ghost early on and lucked out just before on the price increases went really nuts. I’m saving for the minifig scale Ghost, but it is huge and going to cost a lot. This is a nice play scale so thank you for covering it. Extra points for the awesome discount code 🤓
Does anyone else really get a demi thick sorta feel with this set I just feel like it’s a little bit crunchy compared to the in universe ship

0:42 hmmm, maybe I should look at selling mine with all the figures. I remember getting back in 2014 it is probably one of my favorite lego star wars sets that I have. I find it interesting when I look at the demand for some of the sets I got when I was a kid who just wanted legos, and they end up being like hundreds more than the original price
You should. Someone selling in my area one for $400, the 2-pack with Phantom. Personally, I'd buy a UCS Razor Crest and I can get UCS AT-AT for about that much. It is a nice set though and there are plenty of people willing to pay that much for it.
I just got this today some pieces missing but the important parts were there mostly and if y’all have the necessary pieces you can technically make a small gap in then loading dock to the under area of the pilot seat to simulate like if it had a actual walkway in instead of just a blocked off area which for me adds to the build and if you have a jumper piece with a 1x2 Zeb and helmets can fit in the gunner seat also the bottom gunner seat if you raise the pieces that the cockpilot piece is held on by one plate you can fit Ezra with his hair unless I had built that part wrong but overall made it a better Ghost for me and also the walls aren’t necessarily blocking off the paneling area I’m working on making a doorway to one of them I had spare parts for and wanted to see if it remained stable so just to make it look better now and add it to the rest of the ghost

I love the interior space of this. I just purchased the new set for 2023. Slowly putting it togther.
the exterior is decent, but I believe even I could do better inside. Like choose one scale, the mix is a bit odd and bad design that you cant have hair-piece on them when sitting and standing. it is so half-lazy. If you are gonna sell a product I would make it stronger and actually have all the pieces at least, bad that you have to find your own pieces that are missing.

As a rebels fan this is truly an upgrade from the original except for the top bubble seat and the phantom not being Minifigure accurate other than that it's pretty good

I bought an Obi Wan lightsaber hilt from Republic Bricks and one of the pieces was filthy. There was dirt and gunk all over it, it was fine because it was on the inside, but in the end it was no big deal.

This is a interesting model but the brinklink ghost is alot better with an Interior that's way way more accurate to the show and even has the 2 phantoms that fan doc that you can also fit minifigs in

It’s cool as a custom set I guess? But I’m a big fan of the ghost and the angles, gappy side panels, and front prongs are just all wrong. For $400 I expect accuracy. Granted, Lego’s own design is awful, but I’ve definitely seen other customs way better than this.
