When I have to go to work in 5 minutes and I decided to watch this before hand 😂
Can I change the direction of the wave effect on this keyboard like the razor chroma?
I always wash my hands before using it. The reason why is because when my hands are sticky and dirty, it ruins the keycaps, however, I think the stock keycaps are good except for the quality. I have the steelseries prism caps in front of me and im deciding if i want to put them on. Great review though and i liked and subscribed 👍

Can you also change the colors to cycle between for the color shift/breathe/gradient preset settings? Or are you obliged to use the predefined colors only?
No I don't remember doing that. When you select an effect it was changing colours in cycle but not changing the effect.

Help!!! I have the apex 3, not pro, and it has a similar app with the illumination menu, but nothing I do is changing the colors and it just cycles green to pink
is it possible to change the illumination to steady & one colour when you play on ps5? I have apex 3 tkl
It is from the presets so you should be able to do it.
I would like to know how to change the colour of the shift key when it is in upper case because on the software I change it but on the keyboard it doesn't work

Hi, when I go to the menu on my keyboard I only have the ‘brightness’ selection under ‘illumination’. Would you know how to update that?
Download the Steelseries application and it should update from there.

You can edit the colour of all the keys on the keyboard.
on ilumnation on oled it just shows brightness

Yes you can change the color and actuation per key.
on my apex pro tkl (2023) is no illumination setting not on the keyboard and also not in the software
should buy a full sized one or a tkl one?
It's all up to you bro. 😃 The tkl is more compact without the number pad.
Hey i found out that I think it is because I have the tkl 2023 version and when I change the rgb on pc it doesn’t work on console which I guess is fine just gotta wait till I get a good enough pc and there is no setting on the oiled screen on mine
On console you can have only the presets. If you customize your rgb and stuff you can see it only on PC because it saves it on the application.
Or on any other steel series keyboard 😊

No it's saving it to the app.

How do you keep the lights off when the computer is shut down? If you touch a key when the computer is off all the rgb comes on and stays on.
Haha seriously>? i don't have that! I am having a laptop and i take it off the cord. If it's easy you can turn off your PC and from the switch behind that give power supply. This will work for sure.
Can you help me? My Apex Pro TKL Wireless 2023 only show brightness menu in oled menu, i dont have preset option…

if I change the color of the rgb on the application and I disconnect it from the PC and reconnect it to my XBOX, will it be saved?
Yes it will save it on the profiles and you can change them from the keyboard. The only thing it can't save is the Gifs because it needs the application. But it can save if you draw something or the original SteelSeries Gif.

What if use it on Xbox and change everything through computer but have to unplug it it changes the screen display back to normal
Yes it changes only the gif. It cannot save gifs or pictures that you put on the OLED Screen. It requires the Steelseries app. But it can save a drawing or the default Steelseries logo. The rest it saving but I am not sure about the actuation per key...because you can change it on the keyboard but only for all the keys..I hope it's saving it per key 😉

And no possibility to turn off USB port lighting. If used with OLED screen, it really glows on the screen, which is shame for a pro gaming keyboard

why did they downgrade the lighting config in new updates? mine looks nothing like this and i cannot edit them in depth like this anymore.

Did you install the app? because it can connect to the csgo and sent you notifications and stuff. If you did you can disabled the csgo from the Steelseries app. Or change few things to see if it workings when you open the game.

Hi, my keyboard works, oled screen etc but keyboard does not light up, feel like ove tried evetything......can you help?
Maybe you turn off the lights or decreased the brightness.
My keyboard is all white color, I tried manufacture reset, replug keyboard. Changed the application colors but it´s all pink in settings, and white. No effects work, it´s pure white, I can only change brightness...
I don't know why you have that...After the reset it should be normal. I hope you figure it out or can take it back to replace it.

No idea my friend.. maybe try to reset to factory settings. You can find it on the settings straight on the keyboard.

What do you mean? This is the video that I talk about How to change the RGB colours on the keyboard. You can do it from the keyboard with the roller or with the Steelseries GG app.

I have this problem with my apex pro I can change the RGB color but in some areas it doesn't change from purple or blue I tried doing a factory reset it did not solve the problem for example i have it on the coast preset in one row it doesn't change color it stays purple
It should be malfunction, if you just get it send it back. Because you factor reset it so it should go back to defaults. Also if you saved any profiles on Steelseries App on your PC try to delete them or even reinstall the program just in case. If nothing fix it send it back if you still can.

I need help, every time i put any colour to the keys (RGB) after 3 seconds it changes to white. Even if i turn the lights off, it goes to white again. Can anyone help me with this ?
Hey man, maybe you put something to AFK effects? at 2:20 i talk about TIMEOUT. On this you control in how much time it will show the AFK effect. AFK effect will show when no keys are pressed for a period of time. It's like idle mode. Try to change the timeout. You can find it on the application as well. If nothing work then like a last option try to factory reset your keyboard man. You will find it on the setting down straight on the keyboard.
Uh oh. I made 1 key stay orange while everything else is in its own effect. Is there a simple fix?
It shouldn't be very hard. Select all keys and apply effect. I hope you figured it out already 🙏😃

Maybe you have saved by accident that row to be dim blue did yo check on the Steelseries App? Otherwise you can try to reset it to factory setting bro. You can find it on the settings of the keyboard and try it but you will lose all the setting you changed.

Yes the lighting and colour is the same. 👍🙂 The difference is on the switches and how many profiles you can create.

There is no OLED screen there so on the app. Download the Steelseries app and make it from there. I showed that later on the video. 👍🙂

Unfortunately the software controlling steelseries stuff is absolutely horrendous, you cant even do simple off and on flashes everything has to be faded gradually, corsair are the kings of rgb, i have the msi gs66 11ue laptop with a steelseries rgb keyboard built in, the keyboard itself isnt bad but the software damn its bloody awful compared to corsairs
I haven't try corsairs keyboards yet i just have one headset with RGB and i haven't even install the software to check it. Thanks for letting me know that you prefer corsairs maybe i will try them in the future. Also i had someone in the comment's saying about QMK Keyboard firmware. I didn't had time to research it but if i understand well you can do many custom staff with this opens software.

It doesn't change from software or straight from keyboard? If nothing works you can try to Restore it to Factory settings but it will delete everything you have created like all the profiles. You can find it straight on the menu on the keyboard. It's down on the settings.
