I have the apex 9 tkl and it's amazing. Barely pushing on the key registers an input. Not the greatest keyboard for someone new to keyboards, due to how easy mis inputs are, but very good once you get down how to use a keyboard
I got it yesterday for my birthday and it sounds amazing, a little pricey but worth it, reaction time is fast, sounds like it was pre lubed, and is overall an amazing keyboard 👍
I got the apex pro tkl and just ordered the fastest keyboard in the world razed huntsman v4 100% size keyboard because I had the Apex pro since it came out
Long story short, iv used the keyboard for some time… tbh the apex pro TKL 2022 version is better and it cost less atm, the keyboard seems nice but it seems very slow
just to spread info, they usually come with tap arrow keys which tbh unless you like need to HOLD down your arrow keys to move around (you could just use your mouse though, it’s faster) then it seems for you there really isn’t any reason not to enjoy the smaller size. takes up less space on your desk and is so easy to take around in a backpack.
wooting uses lekker switches which are magnetic hall effect switches like the omnipoint, apex 9 has gateron optical yellows or optipoint which are optical switchrs meaning they use light. apex 9 is the fastest optical board
The optical yellows have a 1ms response time but a fast reset time, so when you press a key down, the spring pushes up so fast and the force of the switch is so light it’s almost 0.4ms for the optical yellows, but I’d say 0.5, now this keyboard is almost 2-3 times faster lmao

You should buy the Wooting. Idk much about the Apex 9 but you can mod everything on the Wooting like you dont like the switches? Lube them or buy other ones (there are currently only 3 diffeent switches for the wooting). You dont like the case? Swap it out with a nice aluminium case like the Tofu 60 redux. You dont like the stabilizers? Lube or swap them with other plate mount staabilizers. I would do every mod that is possible on the Wooting but instead of the burger mount you should do the Gummy O Ring mod

Hey how ya doing. Apex pro mini uses omni point instead of opti point which allows u more customization in terms of how long it takes to register its actuation. While the apex9 pro uses optipoint. Opitpoint only has two options, 1.5mm and 1.0mm. Hope thisbhelps
