I don’t see anyone in the tech scene with the same level of aesthetics, creativity and pvp skills as your channel keep going man
Facts
Dave2D and Tech Optimum does kinda have the same aesthetics. I enjoy both alot
@NotKray true actually, somehow I kinda enjoy optimum's more haha cant really explain it.
Don't forget the muscles.
Most "tech tubers" don't play games or are super casual
Bro thats too light for your muscels
Riiiiiiipt 💪
I'm also jealous of his muscles 😅

His ideal. Not THE ideal...
The title is legit my dream gaming mouse. Not the dream gaming mouse,.
@@ChaitanyaSrikar NAh but still.....THAT mouse is TOTAL GARBAGE
@@gameozI mean why though? It serves his purpose. I would never use it bc I do more than game, and when I do I need a scroll wheel, but it works for him good.
@@gameozthat’s ur opinion tho, it’s ideal for his purposes he never said it’s the best mouse for every person
As an industrial design engineer I can say that you did an amazing job the whole process. Love to see an upgraded version of the design.
Same!
Amazing for intern or junior engineer prolly 😅
This design won't be sertificated for UK market. Case may not have holes with access to PCB wider than 0.5 mm wire to prevent shortage or shocking. This is really important.
People like you and DIY Perks are insane, not only in quality but the actual engineering and effort behind your work. So underrated and slept on.
Matt is way too advanced....
Slept on? Bruh u sleepin
Is it underrated and slept on though?
Underrated and slept on? They have millions of subscribers between them.
@@cecilbigman4250 Who's having millions of subscribers again?
Damn, first it was custom PCs, then custom keyboards, and now custom mice?!
When will we be getting custom monitors? 😅
*DIY Perks has entered the arena*
You can't beat the dyac+ zowie monitors
360hz with eye tracking. Just look and blink. Boom headshot.
Anything can be made custom with enough time, knowledge, and resources
Bro your profile pic got me!!
I think people underestimate your brilliance and its astonishing to see what someone so intelligent is capable of. Keep up the good work mate.
You're insane. Great job!
big fan man
You should totally drop the 3D files so people could print this and try it out. That would be dope.
Yes please!
I second this!!!
Even your draft versions you're working with in the video would be much appreciated!
Also what CAD software are you using? EDIT: Looks like Fusion 360
Nah he can monetize and sell that shit
@@haydenap it is Fusion 360. I think he said it at some point in the video
Very cool. The HSK 4k Pro would be the closest option on the market to what you created. It's fingertip, Weighs only 29 grams, and has 4k Hz polling rate.
Ace is even lighter at 26g
I bought the HSK+ but the quality control on the clicks were so bad I never used it :(
@Optimum Tech G wolves can have questionable quality control. Can't beat your own mouse I guess. Love to see it.
@@optimumtech damn mine was good but my wired one was hard to press i ended up putting it in the closet
@@optimumtech My HSK plus was shitty quality too. The HSK pro though is amazing. Knowing Gwolves however, I might just have gotten lucky
Man I hope this channel keeps growing. Really high quality honest content!
Honestly, this tech channel is my favorite.
Even if I ignore the fact I love sfx PCs, the video quality is just stunning for every video. The ideas/topics are all logical/reasonable and well presented too.
There are so many objects I interact with on the daily which I think about redesigning. I applaud your efforts in taking the next steps and actually committing, Loved it!
I think the way he can share it with us also helps to justify putting all that time and effort into something like this.
Out of curiosity, could you name just few?
@@Desmond987 I want to know this too 😂
@@Desmond987 just about any reusable thing. everything is built around marketing and planned obsolence
@@handlmycck Yes I understand that but just out of curiosity I would like to hear just few items if there are supposedly "many objects daily" that should be redesigned.
Will be interesting to see what kind of modifications you end up doing with the future iterations, amazing video.
You're next
Haugaming review unit will be sent out soon
Oh my word this is yet another example of just how inspirational a short 15 minutes or so video can be. Amazing job of helping me to stay motivated and excited about what's possible with a little bit of thought, dedication to master some tools and then commitment to put those skills and that knowledge into making something really cool. I'm new to your channel but already I'm a massive fan and this is one of my top 3 favourite channels to learn from. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing projects with those of us with much less knowledge and more to learn. Please keep making your incredible videos.
ps. I also like some other channels but I don't care whether somebody went to a private school or comes from the streets, for me it's about what they do in this space and whether the content is high quality. I hear what others have commented and agree that there are also other high calibre content creators and yes I also enjoy those other channels but I think this channel has something very unique and really quite special (and no I'm not a sponsor, I just love tech, I love software, being a developer, a graphic artist, 3D modelling and also an animator I get a buzz from watching somebody else utilise a really good mix of skills to produce something really cool). Sorry if anyone found this to be a bit of a ramble
This looks like such a bot comment.. no specific information about the video it's under, vague speaking points, like wtf lol
I was not only amazed by the mouse but also the overwatch gameplay! I was not expecting this high level of skill that montage was actually really amazing
This is taking "Fine, I'll do it myself" to the next level. Thanks for sharing the whole process and keep pumping out the great content! Also, any chance you're sharing the build files?
This is an incredible first effort, not only is the mouse fully functional, it works at an extremely high level of gameplay! Absolutely insane, i look forwards to your future efforts
Ehh, no scroll wheel or m4,m5… just saying lol
@@cjsawinski He did say for his personal use case they were unneeded. Personal preference will be that way.
Man he is just on another level
That's crazy overkill and I love it. Rapid prototyping at it's best.
The resin printing and design process was great to watch. The ability to fine-tune the final design to cater to what was only necessary was sick.
Thank you for emphasizing the safety necessary in resin printing. I’d love for more people to be interested in it, but I want them to know what they’re getting into and be safe. This vid like all the others is amazing. Looking forward to the update on this mouse.
Nothing for fumes though😂😂
The yellow wire on the heavier LiPo is most likely a thermistor. If you rip it open, you could extract that thermistor and add it to your other LiPo
This might be one of my favourite tech channels, the video quality and aesthetics are unmatched. Insane work bro ❤
this man just keeps on leveling up the custom possibilities in the pc space
absolute mad lad
That is real engineering process right there. Great job.
Super fascinating video! Please keep up the awesome work! I'm excited to see where this project goes.
Always love your content and this one is no exception. Love watching the design and prototyping process. Thanks man!!!
Wow, dude! It's rare I see something DIY on tech channels that makes me go "wow, that's amazing" anymore, but this actually really is! Awesome work!
Honestly, I was kicking my feet out of excitement when I saw this video in my feed. Great video with clear segments, super easy to follow and the mouse turned out insane.
your content just keeps getting better. bravo dude!
Looking forward to the update, grate video and design process! Exiting to see how far you can push it!
The next thing to experiment with is different resins for your print, specifically there are “tough resins“ that will dramatically strengthen the print and make it more flexible and less likely to break. You can mix those specialty resins with regular colors, glow in the dark, or all kinds of other possibilities.
Know of any lightweight or low density resins?
@@AkalaFPS Not sure if he did this, but you can 3d print things hollow, with some lattice support structures inside. His parts were pretty small and thin already so idk how much it would save weight wise though.
This is probably my favorite video of yours yet, absolutely insane project. Would love to be able to do the same with my own viper v2 pro! Your design looks awesome.
This man’s obsession and attention to detail with his aesthetics somehow just inspire me to do better
Thanks for sharing your process. Very fun to learn and watch.
Absolutely insane! And your production as well as content quality keeps going up too
Your channel is exactly what i ever wanted to see, or do myself in gaming peripherals scene! Thank you for your work! Maybe next time consider building Azeron like keypad with analog switches? :)
super duper hyped for the progress on this project🔥🔥
Very cool, though I wonder about the longevity of those buttons. If they break off, you could replace the straight stem with a wavy one so it acts like a spring type compliant mechanism and distributes stress.
This shape is bizarre, very cool project!
Dude your content is actually insane. So much improvement over the years with the best ideas which captivate me throughout the whole time of me watching your channel.
Keep up the content man, your channel does wonders to keep me entertained and learning about the tech within my favourite hobby.
Fantastic video, not just the idea/topic, but also the b roll and editing
Man I’m not only amazed of your videos and gameplay, but also of your level of intelligence and readiness to share what’s going on in your mind. You seem to live a very cool life combining your interests and hobby with your personal interests. You are a very cool person, wish you the best for future
This is so cool :0 Seeing people slowly becoming mouse enthusiasts are cool imo It's like keyboard enthusiasts lol
If you're having trouble removing solder, apply flux to it before heat, it's a night and day difference.
Loved this idea but had no printer so butchered a spare Aerox 5 I had. Got it to 38g, not crazy light, but still got multiple side buttons. It's the biggest difference maker a peripheral change has ever made for me. Would be interesting to see something like what you've done here but keeping at least 1 side button. Big hats off, it's great work
Love the work dude. Learning to use assemblies will help you keep your parts compartmentalized and will help keep your doc nice and tidy.
Damn that’s really impressive you just made your own mouse. That’s very cool. Looks like it paid off with those insane head shots.
When trying to remove old solder it can be good to apply some fresh solder &/or flux(i use flux core solder). it will help melt the old solder and clean up much nicer. And if you are really worried you might burn or damage the pcb you can lower the temp pretty far when trying to desolder. I start around 280c. The mouse seems great. Love this project. cant wait to see more revisions.
Indeed, need some Pb solder and tons more flux, also the soldering tip is just not good for the job.
Amazing process! I do think thought, that creating a clay model of your imagined perfect shape first would be easier, than just going straight from imagination to 3D modelling.
Really nice vid. I like those project driven vids with lots of insides.
I am ready to buy it!
Already using for V2 PRO for months and what I can say, its the BEST gaming mouse i ever used!!
Please make it dream come true and sell those 3D printed shells!!!
there is no other tech youtuber with this level of creativity, this is one of the best videos i’ve seen
DIY Perks
hey rlly big fan for your vids since many many months, pls keep it going, prolly the cleanest videos on the plattform, just wanted to ask which programm u used to 3d model your custom fingertip mouse aswell as the tubes for your airflow things for the perfect airflow pc, keep it up :)
Damn, you're crazy going to these extremes. I love it.
Love this video. I'm a third year Mechanical Engineering major and the prototyping process was one of the hardest lessons I had to learn. I would get so drawn into trying to plan the perfect first design that I would never actually build it, and it led to so much unnecessary stress and effort. Turns out, just making a very bare bones proof of concept works great. Don't give it too much thought, just make sure it works. Once that's done, do the rest by feel. The method you landed on in the end was exactly correct. Mess around with it for a few minutes/hours and see what feels good and what feels bad. Work from there. Keep up the great work!
Now design the heaviest mouse
Machined aluminum block with a hole for the sensor
that video was 11/10! The hard work really pays off mate, cheers!
That 3D printing is awesome, looking foward to the 2.0 version of this !
The best part about your channel is while the content is just as amazing as other big people you are also really good at the games you are playing as well so I trust your opinions more
Me: Cries in laptop trackapad
okay now this is getting crazy, this is nutz concept and came together insanely wow just wow
You are truly amazing, gifted. You deserved all the success you have !
Big fan of your work, by chance will you ever upload the STL files for this mouse?
Subscribing for this, your mice may not look like much but we need more people experimenting on hardware big time so companies can take note of what people actually want
Also the bare minimum kinda design is just very unique
I nominate the name Viper Shed for this project. Hope it either develops into an open source project, or one you can buy. Would love to try it out myself. This honestly makes me want to get into 3D printing finally.
I can tell you’re really proud and you definitely should be!!! Great work optimum, super cool to watch
Have you seen the G-Wolves HSK Pro Ace mouse weighing in at 26g? I've been using it as my main mouse and I've really liked it so far.
Dude this is probably the best video you've every done. Your passion and developing skills are just unreal. It would have been so satisfying playing with the mouse and absolutely owning!! Keep up the great content!!
this is so cool, you should really keep working on this thing and try to bring it to perfection. sick stuff
Love the process, amazing work.

Just a thought: The "grip" of your mousepads surface might make your mouse feel heavier. As mousepads for gaming usually have some sort of resistance to give you control.
Quite literally Optimum Tech haha! You're 100% best tech utuber hands down. Everything you do is bleeding edge I love it! Keep it up man!
I’m actually so hecking impressed with literally everything here. I know the work that goes into something like this and it’s crazy how far this man is able to push things.
Awesome video! With your soldering look up Flux, Tinning and Goot Wick instead of the pumps. Makes easy work of those solder joints.
Will you be opensourcing your 3d prints... would love to make this myself :D. BTW, really love your content: high-quality, to the point, and clean. Marvelous!!!
Damn... Dude in shape, stay cranking videos out, and now, creates his own gear.... Operating on another level.
its got no scroll wheel
Yeah
I have the hsk pro 4k and it's quality control is much better than the hsk+ or others
This ^ much better than previous G-Wolves QC

That shit isn’t funny

Next time: "I'm building my gaming mouse inside my hand." Your playing style is insane even with this weird-looking design 😂
Insanely cool. Love the original design.
That is so cool hope we get to see the final product
You really should review either the HSK Pro 4K or the HSK Pro ACE (1khz, but 3ish grams lighter), gwolves have really improved their QC with the new mice and it’s almost exactly what you’re looking for
They havent improved qc. I have 2 hskpro 4k

love seeing more and more maker content on this channel
Why could noone be making them?? Because they are cringe 😭
this is so sick, it would be awesome that when you finish refining and designing it, you release the file to others to build it, i would love to have one
Do you think you could do an updated review on other niche pinch grip mice like hsk now that pinch grip is your main aim style?
Been binge watching your videos man easily my new favorite channel!
I have been thinking the same but with a Zalman FPS FG1000 - make that one wireless - Great Video
would be cool to see this done with a logitech superlight as the basis together with the charging mat (or any other brand that offers a similar accessory (if that exists)). This way it may be possible to get rid of the battery completely.
replace the scroll wheel for a slide potentiometer. With every increment down it adds one left click per second, right click for up, springs to keep it centered.
