I'd bet that Gojira really starts to experiment on their next record, I can see them moving in that direction.

Pensées intéressantes. I agree with some vocals that could be louder in the mix. Regarding the concept album. It could be. The albums of Gojira already have a bit this feeling of concept album because of the topics they explore. This song was a journey on it's own. I can understand why they released this one first with the pandemic related topic and it's radio friendly. Good to good mainstream this way with a good message, a nice music video. It's a solid song, very standard with similar riffs than other songs so you're right about the safety aspect, the pace of the track. The story told was surely demanding this as well in terms of controled agressivity, progression in the musical narration like a score for a mini movie. There will certainly be more craziness, creativity in other songs. The part with space vibes was cool but you always expect a lot from them. They set the bar pretty high.

One group you really gotta check out is "Trail of Tears", probably starting with (Venom Inside my Veins). Feels similar to Opeth and Sirenia

There is a underrated Gem called YOB no one react on they masterpieces Please react on YOB- A Drift To The Ocean , They criminally underrated you can say they are the God Fathers of bands like Cult Of Luna,The Ocean and ISIS if they not Hunt you and blow your brain i swear i will stop being a metal head and start listing Lady Gaga

paravarium agreed that it’s repetitive, but if you’ve delved into Gojira’s full discography, they have tons of songs that are repetitive. But you can turn that around and call it meditative. Or, finding a groove and letting it play out.
@@thoronthol1175 I have delved and you are correct, which is why Gojira has never been of my favorite bands. I definitely don't dislike them, but I appreciate them in smaller doses. This song in particular though just did it too much for me, but like I said they always have other tracks I dig way more so I'm not judging it all yet.
I'd much rather groove with a Tesseract/Polyphia vibe.
I see that. Much of what I've listened to it somewhat repetitive. For me that is something I enjoy with them. Gives it a trance like quality

@@thoronthol1175 Hehe good luck, hope you find something enjoyable. I've come to the conclusion that I would like this song more if the phrase Another World wasn't repeated so often, I think that's the real offender >< but I'll still enjoy plenty other Gojira tracks 😃 lovvee lafant and magma
