These guys feel like Hemlock’s attempt at creating his own Bad Batch squad. They have a big juggernaut like Wrecker, a melee based guy like Hunter, C-X2 based on Crosshair, and two others that seem to be based on Echo and/or Tech.
It seems more likely given the squad size and the fact that none of these are direct analogues to the Batch's members (sans Wrecker and his counterpart, and even then it isn't one-to-one) that these CXs were an early form of SCAR Squadron, a sort of spiritual successor of the Batch.
