In Madden all it takes is a first and second round pick.
No, a seventh will do
In madden all it takes is for mahomes to suddenly feel like switching to punter for "reasons"
@@bruhmoment5186 best comment I've seen all month
True
@@bruhmoment5186 😂😂 man those mysterious position switches becoming in clutch😂😂
Whats hilarious is that the commanders called the chiefs about mahomes. I would have loved to have heard that roar of laughter from the chiefs. 😂😂😂
The commies would have to offer their entire dline + 5 first rounders
@@washingtonfootballfan7974 entire D line + 8 1st rounders is more like it
You guys are both wrong you mean all of their first rounders until the end of time.
10 first round picks please and the rights to choose your franchise's new name
@@washingtonfootballfan7974 the commanders don't have the personal or daft capital for such a trade besides Kansas city will never do it who are the commies
Only way mahomes loses the red jersey is when he trades for a gold jacket
i could see him signing for the cowboys for like 2 years at the end of his career tbh
If the Cowboys ever made that trade I’d probably hire a hitman for Jerry Jones.😂
I know your not entirely serious but I’d strongly discourage statements like this as anything said online is there forever. Additionally I believe a fair bit of device monitoring happens and a statement like that could be used against you.
@@paulhaldeman7042 wah wah
@@paulhaldeman7042 nerd
@@paulhaldeman7042 bro literally the one and only negative impact this could ever possibly have on him is if he tried to work under Jerry and he would be denied if they look through his social media that’s all bro stop fear mongering bc that’s how you got this paranoid in the first place
Right I’m not even a cowboys fan and I think that trade offer is Ludacris. Because joe is very good quarterback but his not that good. I see joe burrow without two elite receivers around him and he was not that good without them. And dak not that bad of a quarterback I would put him in the top 15 and if you add Mich parsons who’s a top 3 pass rusher and top 5 player that trade would be stupid for the cowboys, it would be smarter to give 3 first round pick for jamar chase for that cowboys team
Bills basically already did Allen + 1st round pick for Mahomes, only in reverse.
They had the #10 pick in the 2017 draft, needed a QB, but accepted a trade with the Chiefs to move down anyway & acquire an additional 1st. They ended up taking All-Pro CB Tre White (who has since been recovering from a torn ACL) and took Allen the next year.
Even though Mahomes is clearly the best QB in football, the Bills are lucky they managed to at least get Allen out of that. Had they grabbed Josh Rosen instead, they'd be in the middle of a new, long playoff drought.
A team could offer EVERY one of their draft picks for the next ten drafts to the Chiefs for Mahomes and it still wouldn't be enough to get him.
This. Just won a ring on 1 ankle throwing to special teamers . Let's be real
There might be one scenario where I could see it happening: the team that wins the Caleb Williams sweepstakes offers their next 10 first rounders.
But after watching the video I guess that wouldn’t be allowed.
Looks like you can only trade picks from at a maximum 3 years in advance.
Yeah, the question we have to ask is: “Are there any players (or combination of players) now or in the near future who give the Chiefs a better chance to win than Mahomes?” I think the answer to that is a resolute “no” .
@@joeynickles7962 10 first rounders for a big Kyler Murray? Hell no lol.
@@ElenasDadAdd a conditional third round pick and I think that’s be too hard to pass up.
I don't think its possible to trade for one of these guys and remain competitive. The cost is just too high. Also Mahomes' value is even higher than you said since he likes having a discount contract.
Depends on how good your front office is at its job. In a hypothetical world, if Joe Burrow became available tomorrow, teams with proven track records like the Steelers and Saints could trade their next 10 first round picks to bring him in and I’d still believe they could put together a competitive roster around them.
Burrow, chase + 1st, for Maholmes.
I can’t see the chiefs accepting anything less. Even at all
Higgins too
No that’s a ridiculous Trade i’m not giving you the second best quarterback in the league with arguably a top 3-4 wide receiver, and another top 10-15 receiver
Adding Jamar into this is absurd imo make it Higgins and I think you’re onto something but Jamar chase is inarguably a top 5 wr and burrow is inarguably a top 3 or 4 qb
The chiefs still wouldn't do it. Burrow is great. Mahomes is the literal goat. He's already the best QB in league history. He surpassed Brady and Rogers in 5 years. He's a true once-in-a-lifetime talent. He's basically un-tradeable.
If I was the Bengals, I'd take that Justin Jefferson + Cousins + picks deal.
A WR group that talented, with Chase, Jefferson, Higgins, Boyd etc would be absurd. It'd be like having prime T.O. & Randy Moss on the same unit.
Just look at how good Tua suddenly looked with Tyreek & Waddle together. Bengals WRs would be even better, and Cousins is better than Tua imo (at least he's more available by not being injured).
Any extra draft picks would just be icing on the cake.
imagine seeing one of these on espn tomorrow morning😂
Put Bill OBrien in charge and watch the magic unfold....
YES BRO THIS IS THE KINDA BRANCHING OUT CONTENT I LOVE TO SEE MORE OF FROM YOU
I don’t think they are trade-able, which is why anything like this has never happened. Watson was practically untrade-able before his hands off the field got him in trouble… and the Texans stunk then too (thanks bill).
You don’t trade dynamic QBs in their prime. Russ was getting old-ish, and had his doubters anyways, so that’s not really apples to apples.
Herbert is maybe the best QB you could trade for, maybe. That’s only because he hasn’t won anything worth mentioning, but that still seems borderline impossible.
Can’t trade Jackson because of how he plays, you have to change your entire team (even if you ignore injuries).
Yeah Mahomes, Allen, burrow, hurts, Herbert and Lamar are the 6 untradable QBs
For Mahomes: your 1st + 2nd round picks for 10 years + your 6 best players all signed to 5 year extensions in which the trading team pays their full salaries for those years (in which they are playing for the chiefs).
And the first born sons of all team executives and ownership group. And 100 tons of gold bullion.
You would have to give up so much to aquire one of these QBs it wouldn't be worth it in the long run. Like yeah you have the superstar QB, but with a gutted roster and no first round picks in the next several years. You would have to hit on every single one of your picks in the next two drafts to compete in that third year with the stud QB. And for the team with a superstar QB, why would you ever entertain a trade for him anyway?
The chiefs organization would genuinely want a first round pick every year hes under contract + assets. Some would call it crazy but your an instant contender with him on the roster and hes proven to be the best qb in the league by a larger margin then most people will admit
As long as Beanes in Buffalo, Allen will be. I’m surprised they haven’t given him a key to Buffalo yet lol. A pretty cool exercise though, to see how much the leagues biggest stars are worth.
interesting video concept !!
Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, Herbert, Burrow and Lamar are the 6 untradeable QBs for me. These guys all have immense talent. While only one of these guys have brought a SB home each of these guys is a game changer for their franchise. All of them have scored 35+ TDs at least once and will all probably have many more seasons of these performances.
Trevor Lawrence may get here but he still needs to improve a bit which I think he will.
The first rounders get hugely devalued as well since they would likely be bottom 5 picks as long as the superstar qb plays
You would be the WORST GM ever to trade Burrow!
A generational talent combined with the mentality of a winner
I don't care if you get 5 first round picks QBS are hard to find and most important
Agreed. As a Chiefs fan, Joe Burrow is just too good to be traded. You are very unlikely to ever get a QB like him again.
I absolutely agree. You don’t trade quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow. Those guys are once in a lifetime generational talents. Hebert and Allen generational talents too. You just don’t do it. Those four are untradeable 😂😂😂😂
@@derekmathews1557 I could see Herbert being traded. I mean this is the same organization that traded Drew Brees.
@@bergerallentoby , yeah you might be right on that. Hebert will never win anything as long as Staley is coaching the Chargers. That playoff loss was a typical Chargers choke job. At the time i wanted the Chiefs to get Drew Brees badly! That would have changed our fortune. Then we could have concentrated on building the defense up and won a couple Super Bowls or so.
7:28 That trade is just painful to see, I would never want that.
cool video dude !
Mahomes Trade would be 7 1st round picks, 2 Elite Players who are Top 5 Players at their postition and a Star Quaterback.
that's way too much
Nope the Chiefs still wouldn’t do it.
“We haven’t even got to Patrick mahomes. Who would be a very unique player to trade for. And we are getting him now”
Idk why. Just an awkward transition and it made me laugh haha
As always thanks for the spicy content! 🙏🏻
Patrick Mahomes: 4-5 first round picks, several starters, and at least 2 pro bowlers.
Josh Allen: 2-3 first round picks, some starters, 1-2 pro bowl caliber players.
Joe Burrow: maybe a little more than Josh Allen.
Jalen Hurts: 2-3 first round picks and a bit more draft capital with maybe one pro bowl caliber player.
Lamar Jackson: 2-3 first round picks, some extra draft capital and one or two pro bowl players.
Kyler Murray: 2-3 first round picks and maybe some extra draft capital or a solid starter, if a team is desperate a pro bowl caliber player.
My opinion, roast me if you want.
I mean we saw basically what it takes. The Sexual Predator was traded for 3 first round picks, a 3rd round pick, a 4th round pick, and had his contract fully guaranteed to get him to waive his no trade clause.
Now imagine your not trading for a garbage bag of a human being and your easily getting into something like 5 first round picks territory.
I always thought about like 1 first for every year they play for that new team and a first for the years they were qb 1 for the previous teams.
No team would be stupid enough to make any of these trades. You might be acquiring a star quarterback, but you would lose all the help around him.
are you done recapping the draft for each division?
I’m not sure if you’re gonna read this, but I love the style of videos, especially during the off-season. Hypothetical scenarios. What if. Not random Clickbait storylines that aren’t going to happen (mikerophone)
No matter how many picks you get for one of these guys, you simply can’t find a replacement on draft or something else because they’re so good and are the type of player that you won’t find every year. If you don’t have the “guy “ you gonna to nowhere
Love the channel. This subject, not so much. Nonetheless keep up the great work!
Great video
Purdy 10 first round picks 😎
The analysis only lightly touches on fan reaction here and fails to take into account the absolute riots that would occur from the fanbases if such trades were to occur for any of them, barring unforeseen massive drop offs in play or something that completely alienated the fanbase. As a Bengals fan, I can tell you that the torches and pitchforks would come out no matter what Burrow was traded for, and I'm sure the same would be said for fans of the Bills and Chiefs....
Exactly those fanbases would riot like hell if any of those guys got traded.
Browns got lucky that Watson was facing off the field criminal charges. If he didn't have any off the field trouble then i think Watson would've been worth a ton more. Three 1st round picks would have been the starting point. Maybe five 1st round picks and multiple later round picks.
My gut wrenched when he said trace micah parsons🤣
A Mahomes trade would involve at least 5 first round picks, multiple star players, and another superstar player
Still wouldn’t happen. You just don’t trade franchise quarterbacks like that. They are untradeable.
I mean Rodgers kinda was one even those he’s an old man the Jets still used a lot
Herschel Walker, Jimmy Johnson, and the Minnesota Vikings are not walking through that door.
Mahomes 10 first round picks simple
We gonna see this at some point.
A tag and trade.
Started the video of with Bengals wish there was a trade between Bengals and Panthers Tyler Boyd and maybe draft pick switch for Terrace Marshall Jr and draft pick switch
You have to be careful when you transplant a big tree like Mahomes. You may break him.
I feel like a good trade for Mahomes would be three first round picks, Joe Burrow, Jamarr Chase, and Jessie bates. I think Mahomes is worth it
Honestly I don’t think the Chiefs would never do that. Not even for that.
Burrow Higgins and a first, or Lamar mark Andrews odafe oweh and a one or 2 first are the only semi reasonable values for mahomes but obviously they should never trade that man
None of those trades are reasonable. Even with those talented players involved, you still need to give minimum 8 1st round picks for mahomes. He's the best QB in league history, and there is simply nobody in the league that can do what he does at the level that he does it.
@@brianbanks9858 I don’t think you saw the fact that I said there would be a qb swap. If you did see that and still think this you’re a lunatic and I’m not gonna argue against such a silly opinion
Bengals would not do that trade with MN, no way. How would they even keep Jefferson, Chase, Higgins, not to mention Boyd
W video
In madden since there’s only 3 trade slots I can give a mid 80 and two 1st rounders
I think a fair trade for Joe to go to cowboys 🤠 would be dak Micah Diggs and a 1st and 3rd round pick. it's fair Jerry Jones would do this in a heartbeat the Bengals would be sit up for superbowl and instantly have top 5 defense. The cowboys would have cap space to sign Joe. and Bengals got dak Micah and Diggs at least two years or more.
Allen and Burrow are also on rookie contracts
The quarterbacks that I think are currently untradable are
Mahomes
Allen
Burrow
Lawrence
Herbert
Hurts
Yep those are the untradeable ones. I could see Lamar Jackson being traded or Aaron Rodgers, maybe Russell Wilson.
i mean the broncos did it in 2022. see how that worked and what it cost them.
bro DID NOT say dak, micah, and two firsts for burrow 💀
I wouldn’t trade Mahomes for a decade’s worth of picks up to 3 rounds and an entire starting lineup on both sides of the ball.
Nobody would. Even talking about it is absolutely absurd and quite comical and disrespect to these superstar quarterbacks, these generational talents as they are called.
Pick between having patrick mahomes or tj watt, myles Garrett, and aaron donald
Give me the GOAT QB Mahomes. The 70s Vikings Purple People Eaters had 3 HOF D linemen, and they had 4 SB appearances with 0 SB trophies. Mahomes already has 2 Lombardi trophies at the ripe old age of 27 years old. He's literally already better than Brady an Rogers, and he did it in 5 years. He's the heart and soul of the chiefs organization, and the main reason they won 2 Lombardi's in 4 seasons. No other player has ever had such a ginormous impact on their team success in league history.
@@brianbanks9858 > "No other player has ever had such a ginormous impact on their team success in league history."
I really hope you don't have an analytical job.
@@SamBrickell okay genius, tell me what player in the history of the league has had a bigger impact than mahomes? You clearly don't have an answer, otherwise you would've given one with your first comment 🤡

Imma be real I love burrow but miach is no trade
justin herbert a 2nd and 2 3rds will get a trade done for mahomes. Herbert got the biggest potential what he can be in the league he can make any throw arguably the strongest arm and he’s a genius and he would improve like 10 levels from his head coach stayley to coach reid it will definitely make the chiefs contenders still
The Chiefs are still not doing that trade man😂😂😂😂Mahomes is just one of those untradeable quarterbacks. It’s fun to think about though but no it’s not happening.
49ers receive: Patrick Maholmes
Chiefs Recieve: Josh Norman, Brandon Allen, 2027 7th Round Pick
who says no?
The entire Chiefs organization
Joe burrow and 5 first round picks, josh allen and six first rd picks, none of those guys have won anything.
Honestly i think id take kirk and jefferson and a couple firsts for burrow, simply because i think having a receiving core that good could be easier to win a superbowl with than joe burrow
You may be right, just look at how much the Dolphins changed by just having Tyreek & Waddle together. Tua's pretty good when healthy, but having that Bengals WR group + Jefferson would be insane.
In theory sounds great, but in reality it wouldn't work out so smooth; because those contracts are FAT. The Bengals D would take a massive hit because they wouldn't have the salary cap to resign most (if any) of their defensive stars. The Bengals would become very 1 sided. Great offense, weak defense
@@brianbanks9858 don't need defense as much when you're scoring 40 a game lmao, plus in this situation they'd probably end up with a cheap rookie qb after kirk retires and their contracts probably wouldnt kick in till then so youre lookin at maybe 7 seasons before those contracts turns the defense into an XFL squad, id take that
@@brianbanks9858 But look at what trying to invest in some of everything has gotten the Bills.
To win today's NFL, you need a great offense that can put up a ton of points. Let the D fall behind, oh well.
People can blame Allen all they want, but look at what all those 1st round picks in defense & $130 million in Von Miller got them. A bad O-line, 1 great WR, and a top ranked D that still can't stop elite QBs
Can we please have a show of hands who thinks Justin Herbert is better that Joe burr?
I think for mahomes maybe 5 first 5 2nd 5 3rd a 5 starters
You should of did why teams didn't trade for Lamar in this video
Because Lamar has all these resources but he can’t win in the playoffs.
easily making that eagles trade what
If Vikes traded Justin I would stop liking o konnell
Can’t imagine josh leaving the bills 😅
you would have to sacrifice your children to get maholms off the cheifs
These were silly trades to me, not every trade would need to include a QB, thats the first hypothetical flaw. there's also a point in this conversation. where the deal isn't worth for the team acquiring a Qb. There needs to be balance applied. Cincinnati wouldn't ask for kirk. it's not as simple as give me ur best players and a QB for the deal to be done hypothetically. its more like what are the best assets? kirk on his cap number isn't a good asset, he's a necessary one. Jared Goff at his high cap number is a depreciated asset. Theres no way to do these deals, by making the team trading the franchise QB, substitute his cap numbers with someone less talented. one of the only benefits to the trade is cap space, so think more draft picks and players on rookie deals. (Realistic trades): BUF Josh Allen to Detroit for Penei Sewell, Aiden Hutchinson, 3 1st, 2 2nds, a 4th. Joe Burrow to Minnesota for Darrisaw, Hunter, 3 1st, 2nd's, etc. at some point only certain players garner that type of value and points when certain positional players are worth more than most QBs. I.E Micah Parsons on a rookie deal but those are different issues all together. i think there's only one player in the league worth that deal and he's not on the market and that's why it doesn't happen.
i'm gonna try to come up with a mahomes trade, i think you can get 4 1st max so i'd start there, might just be 3, so lets just say Max 1st, max 2nds, 2-3 3rds, then lets say a random team is offering this very few teams with the assets to get it done lets sayyyy cowboys for fun, the deal would be: Patrick Mahomes for Max 1st rounds, max 2nd round picks, 2 3rds, Zach Martin, Micah Parsons. Trevon Diggs.
Nobody reading your essay
@@brianbanks9858 it's really not that long, you say it like its the smart thing to do. it isn't like i said nothing. The shame won't rest with me.
There’s also no interception Josh Allen can’t make🤣🤣🤣
Would you make this trade
Colts receive :
Joe burrow
Bengals receive
3 firsts
Quentin Nelson or Shaquille Leonard
Anthony Richardson
Remember
Richardson is the most athletic QB ever when tested at the combine and he would be on a rookie deal whereas burrow needs to get paid soon but you take the risk of him not developing
Nope. Burrow is proven
If mahomes is worth ten Allen is worth 9, sorry
Let’s say a Mahomes trade happened this year. For example, with the Cardinals.
ARI receives:
QB Patrick Mahomes
2024 5th
2024 6th
KC receives:
2024 1st
2025 1st
2026 1st
2027 1st
S Budda Baker
T Paris Johnson Jr
2024 2nd
2023 2nd
Still not enough
At the moment, teams cannot trade draft picks from the 2027 draft. Teams are allowed to trade draft picks which are within the next three drafts; i.e. the 2024, 2025, and 2026 draft.
No man it’s not happening. Kyler Murray is tradeable not Patrick Mahomes😂😂😂😂😂
Schleavis
Burrow would have more value than Allen, maybe even equal to Mahomes. Burrow is the first truly ELITE QB that we have ever had in the history of our franchise. Ken Anderson and Boomer Esiason we’re both great don’t get me wrong, but nothing like Joe. Him being an Ohio kid, having the love of the entire city, and being the only GUY in franchise history make him be wayyyy higher than Allen, and almost equal to Mahomes
None of the cincinatti mock trade makes any sense, meh
It almost never works out when a team trades up for a top pick especially a QB watch what happens to Carolina!!!!
Chiefs literally traded up for mahomes....
@@themaverick1898 mahomes was 10th overall tho
@boomers3048 yea and the chiefs would of traded 5 picks for him easily 🤣
10 first round picks for mahomes is insane
Burrow's stats are padded. He has 3 receivers who would be a #1 receiver on any team in the nfl. I doubt he puts up the numbers he does with less talented receivers.
Some players like pat mahomes are untradable in my opinion. You could offer 10 pro bowlers and it still wouldn’t be worth it.
I'm a Bengals fan thru and tru and I know Mahomet is great but why would I ever trade Joe burrr for patty when the chiefs have never beaten us with burrow unless you want to count that bs last year when they got all the help in the world from the refs and still barely sqeuked through 😂 we don't want him
The Bengals wins over the Chiefs are a combined 9 points my friend. Each game by 3 points. The Bengals are barely squeaking by too. And that play wasn’t BS. What did you expect to happen when your boy hit Mahomes out of bounds?
I’ll just save you the headache, Mahomes is just simply too untradable to be traded 🤣!
He is it’s just not happening
This may be a controversial opinion, but absolutely NO player is worth 5 1st round picks, not even Patrick Mahomes. When people have discussions like these, seems they forget that while QB is the most important position, its is just 1 position out of 22. A great QB alone =/= team success.
And yet mahomes seems to bring team success despite what wrs he plays with 😂 they absolutely are worth multiple picks. Rather have a proven elite qb than be on the qb courosel
Mahomes is worth 10 first round picks. He's literally the best QB in league history. Took the chiefs out of QB purgatory and put them on his back. When Brady won his first 3 SB's he was a game manager. Rogers somehow only won 1 SB. Peyton Manning was amazing, and somehow Mahomes has already surpassed him in every meaningful way (same as Rogers and Brees). Mahomes is literally the most unique GOAT QB we've ever seen. He's a once-in-a-lifetime player; and guys like that are worth the farm
I’d rather trade for someone like Gardner Minshew over Josh Allen any day
