Shoutout to Jags Josh Allen for A: Being a damn solid player
And B: for creating the "Josh Allen sacked Josh Allen" commentary
Arguably one of the best WR draft classes in recent years at least. Deebo, AJ Brown, DK, McLaurin, Diontae, Mecole, and Renfrow.
For sure 1 of the deeper one’s
hollywood better than 3 of these guys
@@ravens4207 mecole, just one
@@pfireintenze renfrow stinks and diontae averages 4 ypc
@@ravens4207 hollywood can’t do his one job tho, catching
No love for Brian burns??
Yeah, he's turned out to be an absolute beast.
He’s great but not on any HOF trajectory or anything like Parsons. Partially cuz he’s on a lame team
Very underrated player
@@avacadomangobanana2588 This year might be a breakout one for him, with the adjustment of defense coming under new coordinator Evero and an actually competent head coach.
HELL NO lol
Dj didn’t just earn his contract in the playoff game he played practically perfect all year and he’s been on literally a bottom 5 roster every year he’s been in the nfl except last year.
Thank you for saying this I can tell he didn’t watch the giants this year.
His best season stats wise doesnt even crack kylers top 3 seasons stats wise but yeah you NFL fans can keep riding dude cause hes white. Wouldnt expect anything different from a blake
@@huntermitchell5383 and a hunter ^^
he played in a fisher price offense
@@999.Strixx d riding
The disrespect foe Dexter Lawrence is unbelievable. He was an ALLPRO last year!
While Daniel Jones hasn't been terrific, his best season was last season. With good management and coaching staffs in place I think the best is yet to come from Jones.
That’s what I’ve been saying! I’m a niners fan but the giants for some reason are one of those teams I’ll always root for (if they aren’t playing the niners ofc 😂) I think he has some great staff and Brian Daboll is a great coach in my opinion, he seems to have that true love for the game money cannot buy. I see another winning record this year and hopefully a spot in the playoffs (most likely a wildcard) but who knows. Best of luck to Daniel and the squad 🤞🏻👍🏻
He’s a capable QB but has a Kirk cousins kinda ceiling. Can be top 10 will never be above that
his best season was 15tds. lmaoooo
@@avacadomangobanana2588 Kirk Cousins has been objectively a top 8 QB at worst for 5+ seasons and Jones has never come close to that. Him becoming Kirk Cousins level would be a monumental and franchise altering jump
@@raniasaad8772 best yet
I very much appreciate that this channel actually talks about the entire league rather than the usual 5-6 teams.
it isnt all about America's team and Mahomes
He he doesn’t have a Demaryius Thomas to see the lay off of him. He has done nothing wrong, but prove them self his receivers keep letting him down.
It’s not locked out. Judy keeps giving up on him.😊
This channel needs to discuss more of the Dallas Cowboys
@@Damianoutlaw No, they don't. The Cowboys haven't done or won anything in 3 decades to be talked about as much as they are all the time. At that point, just watch ESPN.
Will always be thankful that the cardinals decided to go with kyler with the first pick. Allowed us to scoop up bosa with the 2nd. Also even if this year wasnt overall amazing, the WR class from this year is one of the best in recent memory
Cadinals would have never even been .500 or above once since 2019 if they have chosen Bosa. Kyler has took them from 3-13 to 8-8 to 11-5, cadinals would have never done that with nick bosa and josh fucking rosen are you serious? Talking about "glad they took kyler" yeah we cardinals fans are too
@@999.Strixx lol and what do you guys have to show for that 4 years later? A couple of late season collapses, a first round playoff exit and another rebuild on the horizon. I mean, if your happy with that then hey by all means, but yall fans in AZ deserve better than that and have for a while now. Out of the other nfc west teams, I despise you guys the least. Respect that yall hosted our team for our home games that one season but damn if that franchise hasn't been doing you fans dirty for almost a decade now
@@cheehee808_ still better then drafting bosa and still being in a rebuild to this day where bosa would have already left this shit franchise. Kyler gave us a little light at the end of the tunnel, he can do it again. Also why don’t you like kyler? My unbiased die hard niners fan cousin wishes y’all had kyler instead of the QBs you had collapse over the years in the playoffs for you guys lol
@@999.Strixx when did I say I didn't like kyler? Lol, he's a good qb. Though his attitude leaves a bit to be desired at times imo. No doubt he's talented, It's just that bosa is literally a cornerstone for us that helped us back into superbowl contention so obv I'm happy we have him. Thats nothing against kyler tho. Hell I'm hoping he bounces back, I still have his rookie autograph card in my card collection haha
@@cheehee808_ wheres your superbowl win because of bosa???
Brian Burns, Chris Lindstrom. Jeffery Simmons, Dexter Lawrence all guys you missed talking about. Those guys have 2nd team All Pros to their name. Judging a class by 1st team All Pros is a flawed stat for 1 because theres such a limited amount of slots for that and the fact that theyre usually occupied by the sane players year in and year out. You dont have to have a bunch of 1st team All Pros in a class for it to be a good class and if you go beyond the 1st round, this class was super deep. This is a bad take imo.
they did talk about them.
And Rashan Gary, he was dominant in 2021, and got injured in 2022, and didn’t start the first two years of his career
definitely skipped over Chris Lindstrom. his '19 classmate and o-line buddy, Caleb McGary, ain't a slouch, either.
Not to mention the fact that lindstrom literally graded as the best O lineman in the league last year, and will probably garner multiple all pros finally being on a good OL.
I remember being so mad my eagles traded up for Dillard when we needed a receiver and didn't take DK Metcalf and then he was still there in the 2nd and watched him fall to the end
when you said kyler murray was the best QB in this class in my head i was like WHAT hell no its Josh allen then realized it was the jaguars josh allen haha
Especially when you compare it to the following year draft, which was will go down to be legendary
Daniel jones really became QB1 of this class and it’s the funniest shit ever
That's the NFL for you.
I love it bro , at first the pick of DJ was very questionable, but it’s becoming one of the better first round QB selections of the past few years
Kyler is still the best
@@Beefy_McWhatnownah homie
@@MagicMan69171 kyler is still better than Daniel jones lol no doubt about it leagues better
I think you're forgetting about Rashaun Gary and Elgton Jenkins from the Packers. They have been REALLY solid!
Exactly.
Elgton Jenkins all rookie team 2x pro bowl he is arguably one of the best I’d not the best lineman out of this draft!!!
Can probably include Darnell Savage in there. Guy hasn’t always been great but he’s been a day 1 stater since he entered the league and is a top 3 safety from this draft while being a position of need at the time. Not many better guys went between savage and Jenkins that the Packers would have drafted at the time.
Its always suspect when a player struggles or has injury issues his first three years then balls out his contract year, like a Haynesworth situation. Jacobs, Jones, andQWilliams all could be in that category
Remove the injury part and I agree with you.
If you get them for cheap you can get guys like Hassan reddick
Josh Jacobs and Q Williams don’t really fit that category. Jacobs rushed for 1,150 yards as a rookie and 1,000 in his second year along with having 19 rushing touchdowns his first 2 seasons. Jacobs was always good he just took another leap. Q Williams has been a dawg since his second season just wasn’t a complete game wrecker like now.
One thing I think you didn’t go into was that this is one of the best edge rusher classes in a while, like sure there’s busts like Ferrel, but they had Bosa, Crosby, Allen, Gary, and Burns, all of whom I’d consider to be elite players, plus other solid guys like Montez Sweat, Winnovich, and Zach Allen
Lol I like hurts or tua wasn’t mentioned in the 2020 class when Herbert has done anything but choke in a playoff game
Exactly. Hurts haters have some weird vendetta against him for whatever reason. Even guys who are normally smart (this channel for example) do it too. Odd.
Thank you for actually talking about Haskins’ career, other than saying “rest in peace” and moving on and just ignoring that he played football, which is the only reason people care that he died or knew him to begin with.
Look at it this way, drew lock isn’t as bad a people say he is if Wilson couldn’t do good with the broncos that haven’t had a good coach then no one really can, lock just needs a good chance he was good in his rookie year
Yeah I agree. There’s no QB in this class that’s franchise so it gets looked over a lot. Best picks from this class other than Boss were the second round receivers of Brown, DK and Deebo
Kyler is a franchise qb, idk what u talking bout
Thanks for talking about all the teams and for your clear explanations
Cannot believe you just brushed past Trace McSorley, that dude can throw it on a dime like he ain't even trying
He was horrible in AZ this past year.
4:24 “Hell, myself did it, too.” Why is everyone so worried about saying “I” or “me.” It’s simple - “Hell, I did it, too.”
Funny part as a bears fan with no 1st or 2nd round pick in 2019 we timed out of the draft perfectly
I love your analysis. HOWEVER, when mentioning great QB draft classes for 2020 you neglected to mention Jalen Hurts. Please make any corrections. If going for just two QB mentions, I suggest you mention the QB who went to a Super Bowl.
All 22 footage with commentary is priceless thank you brotha
The only great thing from the 2019 draft was the WR class. With AJ Brown, Diontae Johnson, DK Metcalf, Deebo Samuel, Terry Mclaurin and even Hunter Renfrow. Everything else was either mid or bad with a few outlier players
so Kyler finished top 5 in MVP TWICE in first 3 seasons and since he has one bad year with terrible coaching and trash teammates, he is bad? You are either a complete casual and follow the media or racist
Thirty of the first rounders are still in the league.
(Except for Dwayne Haskins, who died last year, and Deandre Baker, who was released after the 2021 season.)
Mecole Hardman?
2nd round receiver....didn't he make a pro bowl as a returner?
So you just gonna disrespect the entire 2019 draft class because it doesn’t have a bunch of first team all pros, or because they aren’t the biggest names out there? Almost half of the first round players are still currently playing or starters. Second round has players that are pro players, and even the third one. Like it how having Nick bosa though doesn’t help, and liked it how you made it seemed like you were trying to throw Josh Jacobs as an average running back and also saying Daniel Jones got his contract via Vikings. Even though if you actually looked at the games he carried the giants all season long. Or how you ignored Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns and etc.
Not even mentioning Falcons-guard Chris Lindstrom is disrespectful. He was the best O-liner in the league last year.
Not mentioning Brian Burns is a crime who one can argue has been a better pick than Bosa
I'm sorry but you can't argue that. Nick bosa is much better than burns. Burns is a great player, but bosa is significantly better.
@@tykendall3750 Statistically that is just not true and before you say "Well Nick Bosa played only 52 games" availability is something I am also factoring in
Nah
@@jonathanharvey7940 agreed nah 😂
Brian burns isn't a game wrecker, worth a mention sure but he's not comparable to Bosa, he's more like a Yannick idkhowtospellhislastname kind of player, a productive pass rusher but not much else
When Joel Bitonio starts to fall off, Chris Lindstrom will pick up multiple all-pros.
Dumb question but always wondered why is Arcega pronounced Arthega like everyone has a lisp when they say it
The name is Spanish. In some Spanish dialects/words the "c" is pronounced "th". Not a Spanish speaker though, so I can't really elaborate much
@@Todesschleicher.well, one of those dialects is Castilian, which became the standard for the Spanish language…in Spain, anyway.
@@terry7907 I read as much but I also don't want to get myself or others beat up by Catalans for saying "Barthelona" while visiting Barcelona
Kyler Murray is good just hasn't had a chance to be on a truly good team, the talent around him and coaching has been mid to decent at best. outside of 2021 he hasn't really had a chance...
Not talking about Lindstrom, Burns, etc is crazy
The 2018 draft, considered one of the most talented drafts, also only had 3 All-Pros this year. The 2019 draft has an argument for best receiver class and best DL class ever. Maxx Crosby, Nick Bosa, and Brian Burns on the outside; Quinnen Williams, Dexter Lawrence, and Jeffery Simmons on the inside (who made up 3 of the 4 first and second team all pro spots last year). It doesn't have a great quarterback, but there are some other really good players mixed in like Chris Lindstrom and Josh Jacobs.
This draft still blows away 2013.
Every draft in history practically blows the 2013 draft away.
As Patriots fan, this 2019 draft class was so bad that hastens the end of the Brady era. None of the players from that year's draft class are still on the team. Of all players Damien Harris was the best player from that class with 15 tds in 2021.
I hate to be “that guy” but it’s like if their formidable years in the league were compromised… by a centennial pandemic
Little upset that it wasn’t mentioned that pollard was so low on yards because he had to share snaps with zeke
What about tj hockenson,
There's a lot more veteran stalwarts in todays NFL in my opinion. You might be a top prospect at your position but its hard to generate the numbers when there's a slew of guys in their mid 30s playing at the highest level still. Dudes are going into years 10-13 with all pro nods.
Never realized how many busts were in the second round wow
This is Gardner Minshew's draft class so it's automatically the best draft class ever.
I think Kyler Murray is alright, very good skill wise and athletically but maybe some personality issues. Would much rather have him than Danny Dimes, he got a bag for one playoff game againt the worst defense in the league.
Kyler has to be begged/have a stipulation added to his contract to get him to watch film, but you'd take him over Jones. Yeah sure dude 👌
@YouJustAmazeMe yes Kyler is better than Jones
I was so pissed when my Broncos took Lock. That’s when I wanted Elway out.
People are really sleeping on Devin Singletary. He is really good, we didnt use him enough here in Buffalo, so he didnt get a fair share of snaps to show what he can do. Im not sure if being in houston now will help or hurt his career, maybe they lean on the run game more but they already have a really good back in Damien pierce. So it remains to be seen but i think he has a chanve to be really really good.
Another banger g
That Daniel Jones contract number is absolutely crazy. The money in the NFL is insane.
As always thanks for the spicy content! 🙏🏻
Kyler Murray and Daniel Jones are both capable starting QBs, yet they are overpriced. They probably cannot complete their new contracts on their current teams.
Bosa was the only home run from the first round
So we excluded Jalen from the burrow Herbert convo
nice video, but I missed Brian Burns
the josh jacobs take was absolutely horrendous
Extremely spot on 🏈 thank you Amigo ✌️🤎
I feel the 2023 draft will end up very similar to this draft or the 2013 draft class.
Yeah I have no idea what you’re talking about the first round of this draft is very solid
At least the Saints drafted a decent second round pick in Eric McCoy
You can already look at the 2020 draft the year later and see one of the best drafts in history
Chris Lindstrom? He’s been improving every year.
Top 5 Guard in the league currently. Hence the contract extension.
@@LoganSimpkins04 top 3 guard (only behind Zach Martin and Joel Bitonio, who he played better than this season) and he will be best best guard in the league if he keeps it up
You gotta change the beginning background music. Its so sad
Bush had an amazing rookie season, and his career was derailed by injuries. I know it happens to a lot of guys, but calling a player a bust because of injuries is unfair to the player when they showed great promise prior to the injury.
Yea but that’s the NFL, sadly RG3 was a bust for the same reason, injuries, but that makes him a bust nonetheless
He’s like 2 years plus removed from that injury. He just never improved in coverage and got worse in the run game once the Steelers changed the scheme
He was on a pro bowl caliber season
What's the name of the music playing in the beginning?
Have you thought to add some statistics to build better theories?
2020 and 2021 kyler was top 5 in MVP voting, just cause he had one bad year with a trash coach and a trash team doesnt mean you have to act like the rest of the Media that will completely forget about what Kyler has accomplished to bash his name
In the best scenario, Daniel jones will be at Alex smith’s level and nothing better. Giants’ WR group was awful, but his potencial is very low. Besides kelce, chiefs have nobody to catch the ball and mahomes stills at mvp level…
Danny should really take Ed Donatell out to one of the best steakhouses in NYC for gifting him that contract
Daniel Jones about to change that
Yep... Hollywood Brown became bollywood brown lol
Chris Lindstrom is the best guard in the whole league today. ....???
Brian Burns??? Is one of the best up and coming Edges already elite and he’s still improving
Josh Jacobs wasn’t productive because he failed to have more than 1200 rushing yards in consecutive seasons?? Bruh…WHAT?!?!🤨😒🤫🤫🤫
Dexter Lawrence made all pro but okay
Devin White nice I would take him on the Lions
Aj terrell, trevon diggs, corners were solid…
how did the offensive line players do?
Daniel Jones MVP season is loading
The circus is hiring
Yeah in madden
U silly about Josh he been balling he also is technically under another contract tear
of course he doesnt talk about brian burns smh
The 2009 class is the most disappointing class ever. Stafford was a great 1st overall pick and arguably the best player in the class. But past that you could make a case that if you redrafted Pat McAfee should have been a first round pick
I’d probably argue Gardner Minshew might be the 2nd best QB in this draft. In all reality Daniel jones probably shouldnt be a starter at this point the giants just haven’t been in a great position to replace him. Unfortunately I think the giants commitment to Jones feels more likely to blow up in their face….
I agree they paid him to much he should get no more then Jimmy G
That said I think him and Gardner are similar level
Throw Jamel Dean a little love!
Idk about you but I’m pretty happy with Simmons
What about chris lindstrom hes one of the best offensive linemen in the nfl
I dont see the controversy with Daniel Jones. He was taken as a project who would need 2 or 3 years to develop. I know he's white 6'5 250, but he runs a 4.5. he's a rushing quarterback just like Kyler Murray. Just like Jalen hurts, Russel Wilson. He's more like Steve McNair than anyone.
Jones was taken way too high, tho…I agree with you that he was a “project”. But when you draft a QB in the top 10, he should be a lock
@@SatansBirdLawExpertthat’s not true lots of qbs drafted top 10 are projects and need good situations to succeed Dj if he stays healthy will show that in the 2nd year of the best scheme he’s had in his career
love the content but I really don't agree with this video. I'm not gonna say this is like an all time draft but I kinda think it's the definition of an average draft. there's some very defined strength like the actually stupid amount of high end defensive linemen (specifically dts) in this class. there's also obviously an incredibly deep pool of great wrs. although it's not the most legendary qb class ever, I think there's a lot of value in having a QB like Daniel Jones or Kyler Murray who are a little above average in the NFL, and I think that's worth a first round pick because those guys are rare. I don't think there's really an unusual amount of busts in this draft, although some of them that were drafted higher definitely do hurt. I really just don't see how this class is extremely disappointing.
Strongly disagree. The only position groups that suck are dbs. The dline and wr groups are the best within the last 10 years. Definitely weaker compared to 2020 and 2021, but it is average to above average
You forgot Tua and jalen
Minchew was the true offense rookie of the year change my mind.
Maybe so…but at least we got Sexy Dexy out of it.
2020 you forgot Jalen hurts
2020 has 4, potentially 5 franchise level qbs. One of the best qb drafts in recent history where, if Love pans out, the first 5 qbs will have panned out better than every team could imagine. If Love is good, you’re looking at one class potentially taking up a third of the 15 best qbs in the league.
I'm sorry, but your take on Josh Jacobs was straight up disrespectful. His 2022 season was phenomenal and he will still only be 25 this next season. He is NOT on the last legs of his career. Dalvin Cook just had the second most rushing yards of his career and you say we are seeing his decline? I think some people like you don't realize just how great these players really are. You can count the number of people in the ENTIRE WORLD that are as good as Cook and Jacobs on your fingers alone.
Arthur juannn😂😂
If I remember correctly most people didn't like this draft especially due to QBs. Kyler is undersized and might be on a new team come next year, Danny Dimes needed one of the best OCs in the league to save him, Haskins was raw and unprofessional (I know he is dead I am trying to be objective on his football career), and I liked Lock the most, but he was raw and unprofessional like Haskins didn't take himself seriously enough.
might be on a new team wtf are u tb
@@carterjanes3151 You mean to tell me if the cards have the 1st over all pick they wont ship kyler off for Caleb Williams?
