Very nice what you showed here. Would you think it’s possible to add a rode min on that setup if you use a iPhone mini? Probably need some counterweight and a 90 degree lightning adapter because it can’t sit flush to the motor. Lets me hear your thought much gratitude.
Apologies for the late response. I think the M2s would be a better option (geni.us/bbBM6). The baseplate is much longer and you might fit in the lightning adapter.
A counterweight (partner.shopmoment.com/AW2eWJ) should help with balancing but I don’t know of a solution to mount the Rode mic.
You could use a male-to-male 1/4” to coldshoe adapter and mount it to the side of the Gimbal but I haven't tried this myself.
the memory lock is not loosening.. how to lengthen the arm?
Does the m2 block the lightning port on an iPhone? I wanted to use it with the Dji wireless mic.
Sadly there is no access to the lightning port as the phone sits flushed against the tilt axis.
@@BrionneOlsen No way to turn the iPhone the other way?
There is a way to use it upside with a Beastgrip cage that I haven’t tried yet. The only concern is would there be enough clearance to use conversion Lenses and Filters on the phone.
Not Helpful. Most of the time its your right hand in focus and the set up is blurred which needs an up close visual
