Thanks for an informative and - just like the M2S - compact interview! I picked up the Moza Mini-P at a bargain price a couple of months ago. Happy to see more manufacturers catering for the action-camera-to-APS-C-crowd users!

Had my finger hovering on the "Buy it Now" button on the M2S and so thank you for the great review, it will be here Tuesday! Taking my new Sony ZV 310 on a 2 month Europe trip in April, and with this item am ready. Your channel is really well done, easy to watch and listen to, you are thorough without too much over production or filler stuff.... you seem to have this down perfectly! Maybe you could bring your wife onboard, ala Tony And Chelsea Northrup!
Thanks again for your channel and great work on your content, I your newest sub!

I especially like the quick release plate on M2S and M3. It saves so much time as I have no need to rebalance it after removing the setup. M2S almost has the same stability and payload capacity as M3. Given the price and features, M2S would be a better option for my APSC setup.

It is amazing to see M2S having a similar payload to M3! I thought they would be different since the price is different. And it's great for beginners who don't need too many additional features on a gimbal.

M2S is more for beginners who're on a tight budget but wish to get an easy-to-use gimbal on the go. I think this gimbal just precisely hit this group of people. It's a much better choice than those phone gimbals, either from price or functionalities.

Thanks, Arthur for making such a good review as always! It is kind of surprising how similar the M2S is to the M3, makes me kind of regret getting the M3 haha. The quick-release system of the M3 is my favorite part of it, glad that M2S also has it, it really helps me a lot in terms of efficiency in my workflow.

Hi Authur! I got my crane m3 on the first day released. I tested it with my sony 7c and sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN and it worked. But it seems like it reached right at the edge of capacity payload. if I put my ND filter on the sigma lens then it will stop working sometimes. It can work well with only the body and the lens (no hood, no filter). So the maximum weight payload of M3 is about 1150 gr. Great video by the way. It makes me not regret buying the crane m3 instead of m2s. I think the crane m2s can't handle my combo a7c and 24mm GM or sigma 85 DG DN.

I bought the m3combo and its amazing.i combined it withe sony zv1 and its always on the white bag.it charges during video and i was filming a cultural event almost 3 hours with one stop rec.my shoulder and hands the next day were normal.consider that ronin sc,carbon fiber pole extension, boya mic, a7iii and sony 35mm f1.8 is the standard set up.(sometimes and a feelworld monitor w/battery 6ah)zv1 tracking eye af is amazing with the zhiyun!!!the only thing its bother me is the zhiyun app,it s not dji and i cannot servo zoom during filming with the buttons on the m3 gimbal.. although it has the light wheel knob on the left.

These products are becoming over kill lol.... Its only a $100 difference! I've learned over the years that it is best to wait and save for the gear you want to upgrade to vs buying the lesser version. In the long run you will pay double for what you originally wanted.... In the mean time make the gear you have work for you!

How do you turn the thumbscrew on the universal quick-release baseplate without hitting the camera grip (where the pinky of your right hand would go if you were holding the camera without the gimbal)? The thumbscrew that allows (or stops) the camera to move up and down. @4:55 it looks like your grip is sticking forward enough to block the thumbscrew if you were to turn it, and it's blocking on mine. I can't figure this one out. Thanks for any hints or tips.

Thanks Arthur, , I like your contents, I have a6600 that I normally pair up with a 35mm f1.8, I like to be lightweight and carry all in my backpack everyday, with this 700-800g I feel comfortable. I am thinking about gettin a all-over zoom either the new 3 f2.8 that showed up this months sigma18-50, sony16-55, tokina17-70 either the oldest sony 18-104 f 4. my set up will be almost the same weight with the sigma but i loose my oss, or i will keep the stabilization with the tokina or the oldest sony f4 18-104 and have a little more zoom options but it will be heavier. Does this Zhiyun Crane M2S really weights 550 g or after you add pieces in the bag it weights differently?
My philosophy is "lightweight always with you in your backpack i better that heavy in a box left at home".
I was seeing in some other comparrisons the movements of the gimball.
With a bigger full frame body the is so smalll that the ocular gets in the way while movin the camera from "pavement level" to "ceiling level" can you please show all the movements that are possible with the a6600 mounted on a Zhiyun Crane M2S?
Or just tell me if the camera blocks the vertical twist because of ocular and so on?
    Thanlks a lot.
Sorry for my 1 mile long text.
Thank you for being present here.
    Have a nice day,

hi Arthur, i'm a big fans of u and i have liked all your videos. I bought the sigma 17-50mm and a a6100 because of you. I would like to keep everything as light as possible. so I wonder if the m2s can hold a6100+sigma 16-50mm with all the way out to 50mm? if not, can the m3 hold it? thank you very much!

Thank you for a great review. Do you think this would be a suitable gimbal for A6600 with the Sony 18-105 f4 G lens. I have a feeling it might be too heavy. Thanks again.
