I have a question, can you mount the iphone with the lens near the axis motor with a ND filter on without and obstruction of the image ? I want the lightening port on the left to connect my rode wireless go.
I have an iphone 13 pro max
The GO mode is the same than F mode, but with faster parameters for the rotations. It’s more instant, and is supposed to be used when you want to film faster actions.

Thanks for the detailed tutorial! Just received my M2S today and I love how compact it is. I used to own a Feiyu G6 Plus for my Sony A6000 and I think the M2S is a far superior gimbal and it's cheaper too. I would say the only drawback is that it lacks wifi , unlike the previous M2 model. So, the only way to use the record button on the gimbal is through a cable, which is rather cumbersome. Overall, I still like it!

@@ZtudioEarl Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you can connect via cable and use the record button on your gimbal but you need to change your camera firmware, which is super easy. Tutorial for that is here : czcams.com/video/BvuJXRLxFUc/video.html

@@MamoAir Hi Mamo, I tried to charge my GoPro 11 using the gimbal's upper USB type-c port. I kept it for ½hr but it never increased a single % and also got heated up. Do you know why it's happening?

I just got mine a few days ago, this video was helpful. I have a canon m50 with the 11-22mm lens, its a heavier set up and I will have to keep playing with it to get it to function the way I want it to. Seems the potential is there by my lens may be just to heavy for it to do to much, I want to use my wider lens for vlogging

That was a very good and consistent balancing explanation except for the last one that varies from person to person. Anyway, they should point out the limitation of many smartphones that will not balance vertically (tilt axis).

My phone even my system camera cant hold the Zhiyun Crane M2S? I have tried to balance it but it doens’t want? I have the Canon 2000D and the iPhone 14.

Hey I have a question. I’ve got a sony aplpha 6000 but the problem is that the stabilator is always showing me the “sleep mode” or something like that and my camera is not staying still at the top it’s always fallin down.
Hi thanks for the message. If your gimbal is going to sleep kpde is usually because your camera is not properly balanced on the gimbal and the notors struggle too much. If you face problems you better contact Zhiyun support team.

Hey, great video! Although, I'm having difficulty connecting my Sony zv1 to the gimbal. After balancing I used the usbc cable to connect the camera. When I turn on the gimbal the camera just says "check connected device" and does not function. Do you have any advice?

Hi. Thanks for the message. That means that you have some of the locks on the gimbal still "locked". Make sure they are all loose. I explain that in the video at 02:10

hi bro, just quick update, my unit has been repaired, it took them 10 days to repair it, but when its done i refused to bring it home, i aint got no time for that, so they decided to replace it with brand new, but after 1 week of using it, i face the same exact problem, the gimbal keep spinning to the right eventho i didnt press anything, now i can comfirm that these product is absolutely trash, sorry, i should have bought DJI instead

One question... is there the face-tracking function in the app ?
if you use crane M series, face-tracking function can not be used, but if you use other model of zhiyun crane, you can use face-tracking function
at 24:23... if you have a timelapse set to take one photo every second and you have the camera set to shoot for 5 seconds, you will then have 5 photos, not 301 photos as stated, am I wrong?

Great video! I have a question as I was not successful following your steps to connect my sony camera to this gimbal. I have an a7c which can only connect via type-c to type-c. On Zhiyum's website it says this camera is connectable via this method, but every time I connect it, my screen goes black and reads...."Check the connected device." My record button will not work because the camera and gimbal are just not wanted to connect. If you or anyone can help me fix this problem, I would be extremely grateful! Thanks in advance and please keep delivering your amazing content!

Hello and thanks for the comment. About the levers, it depends....if yhey unlock while you are filming they could put your gimbal out of balance, yes, and make the motors struggle.

I would like to know if it's possible to have the gimbal set to follow or fpv, and in the middle of the shot you want to quickly lock, can you do it on the front trigger? Like pressing it and while you're pressing it stays temporarily in lock mode? DJI gimbals do that and I like use it very often... You didn't mention this option when you explained the various trigger modes and ibwould like to know if it can do this...

Double press: Reposition
Triple press: 180° rotation for the pan axis motor
Press and hold: Enter Go Mode. Release to return to the previous mode.

@@DiogoReis Are you talking about the ability to quickly lock the quick release plate or is it the L mode?
@@cyfoel_yang9425 use it for an instant in lock mode pressing the front trigger while in other modes...
@@DiogoReis My impression is that when you press the M button to enter L mode, hold down the trigger button to enter Go mode, and release the trigger button to return to L mode.
Anybody has successfully getting this gimbal to work with A7iv record button?
Record button on the gimbal doesn't trigger my camera. Tried all sort of settings and cables.

Which gimbal would you recommend for using the Sony A7C with the Sony 20mm f/1.8 G lens? The M3 or the M2S?
Hello Ricardo. Thanks for the comment. Honestly I loved the M3. I think the design was cooler and I loved the audio interface to which you can connect a microphone directly. I have just ordered a Crane-M2 S and have a short question. If my camera does have an internal (optical) stabilizer, should I switch this one of or on while using the camera on the gimbal?
Hello there. Thanks for the message. In my experience different cameras work differently in gimbals. Sometime I turn the stabilisation of the camera off while I use the gimbal as they try to compensate each other stabilisation and the image is quite artificial. Just experiment and test them yourself and compare the clips. That is the best advice I can give. Subscribe and join my community if you haven't already. Ciao
Hi mate. I get my new crane m2s and use GoPro hero 8. I watch you video how to balance. You use GoPro hero 10. I am struggling GoPro 8 it can be problem because it is lighter. hard to find balance third point. Looks like it’s hold position but then move to the bottom it’s flip.
