But with the AMG water separator, you can remove 99% of the water in your pneumatic air lines. The AMG series water separator is installed on the air pressure line to remove water drops from compressed air. It is available in 7 sizes with a variety of optional combinations to meet your application requirements.
Tech Details:
Water Separator w/possible modular connection
Water removal rate: 99%
Max operating pressure: 1.0MPa
Options: Fluororubber material, medium air pressure, drain guide, IN-OUT reversal direction, degreasing wash, white vaseline

We just added a new blog post to help troubleshoot issues with water in pneumatic air lines! Check it out here: blog.airlinehyd.com/water-in-pneumatic-air-lines-troubleshooting
I think I'll be buying one of these to help clean my electronics with compressed air. Thanks for the demo! Just FYI, I count get that search term to work on your website, so I just searched the model number.
Nice bro..all DIYer should know this basic knowledge. I had also a video like this..with combination of oiler or lubricator.a great attachment to out air compressor
Does it drain the water automatically or we have to do manually. As far as I can understand it drains both ways.
Do we have to install an automatic drain
what's the difference between filter/regulator and water separator, filter/regulator also removes the water from the line
Hi, I need to make sure that the air has high relative humidity but does not carry any liquid water. Does this AMG product only impact the liquid water or does it reduce the relative humidity of the air as well?
It only impacts liquid water.
I can see you have the same problem with this Filter and the Mounting bracket. Badly designed square body bends the bracket away cousing potencial leaks.
Dose it drains manually.or automatically
Why isn't the air entering the compressor de-hydrated instead of the exit-air? Seems more efficient to stop the water contamination befor it enters the system.
There are many best practices and technologies that tackle de-hydrating a pneumatic air line. In addition to the AMG water separator (which is meant for point-of-use at the machine level), you're right - there are others that are good to deploy further down the air line. Would you be interested if we made a new video about that? Thumbs up this comment if you would watch!
Can you provide a BOM for this system to purchase? Thank you
Hi Ross, Thanks for your interest! Please email us at customer.service@airlinehyd.com and we'll be happy to help.
that is nice to water this sales pitch, problem # 1 is that the air is cool already in this demo, when hot air passes through the water separator and then cools and then it makes the water, no one tells you how far the water separator needs to be from the compressor
Unless you build an air pre cooler 😉
We need absolutely dry air. Can this be useful?
This would be extremely helpful, and there are other solutions as well, including air dryers. Browse our solutions at www.airlinehyd.com/category/AIR-DRYERS-41/2140, and give us a call if you need any help with your selection.
Whats the differences between water seperator and moisture seperator?
Or is it the same?
We asked our expert, and he said, "They are basically the same. Water separation is done closer to the source like a compressor where heat and compression generate more water than moisture. Moisture would be more seen downstream closer to an application where possible going between rooms or changes in temperature would cause water droplets that become atomized to more moisture or humid air which can accumulate over time.
Not sure if that answered your questions. In the AMG world there is a coarse removal and a micromist separation."

I installed the AMG150 on a 3hp compressor. I'm still getting water coming out. Why?

how close is your water separator to your compressor? when air cools down it then turns into water, cooling the air before it gets to the water separator seems to be the way to go, some people on here are making homemade dryers/coolers to cool the air, there are many on youtube, i am making one out of copper tubing now
can we get it from bangladesh
Has anyone used this in their plant? What are your personal experiences?
price
Around $130 depending on the model. Check one out here - www.airlinehyd.com/product/SMC-AMG350C-N04D/1914362
The music in a video should never be louder than the person talking. It should not even at the same level as the person speaking.
Just a heads up, we added a NEW blog post that illustrates even MORE best practices and technologies that fight against water in pneumatic lines. Check it out here: blog.airlinehyd.com/air-line-moisture-removal
What about Oil removal? We have 20hp compressors and air driers, but we've always had some oil contamination. Do you have or can suggest a oil separator to go between the compressor and refrigerated driers and a link to suppliers? Thanks.
@@baileyboy7567 Great question! I asked our product manager and he has a few great solutions for you, but he needed to get a little more information about your system to recommend the right sizing for the application. He's happy to lend his expertise if you're able to email him at mschapoehler@airlinehyd.com
My plant is hot
Watch it at 1.5x speed. Too much talking. You're welcome.
