Putting it that close to the compressor does little to nothing... Especially when you have it hooked up backwards....lol

Shouldn't the directional arrow be pointing in the other direction?

Is this like a filter ?

shouldnt it be between the compression cylinders and the tank to prevent the inside of the tank rusting out and holding a puddle from natural humidity moisture???

No you want it to trap moisture as it condensates because of how compressed gasses work (refrigeration).

That is not very effective. The water separator should be further away from the compressor. The air needs to cool in the line before it is effectively able to remove the water from the air.

@@eastwest7076 move the water filter far from the compressor. add 2 meters pipe after the compressor, then connect the filter, then connect your output pipe.

I was going to do 25ft hose then put one of these water seperator then another 25ft hose after it. What u think?

@@SOUTHSIDESUPERSTAR 10 meter hose water trap then another 10 meters of hose is what I saw recommended, and it works well for me. I also fit an inline water trap on the gun inlet, just to be safe

@@eastwest7076 Best fix i found. From the compressor I have a 50 foot hose coiled up hidden under my shelves... You will not get the majority of condensation until about 50 ft down the line where the air actually cools the most... Then i run into a shut off value where i can stop the air if i want to clean filters without draining tank. After the valve...runs to my Ingersoll Rand condensation trap psi regulator... Then runs into another oil filter... Then runs into another desiccant trap filter ....then into a Motor gaurd m30 filter. Then out to my 100 foot reel. I promise you this is the way to do it. I dont even need my desiccant filters that attach to the tool. Wish I could take a picture and post it on here.
