I've seen all these because I adore Rooney as a footballer, as he's my favorite player. However, seeing these again, my god he was unbelievable. So underrated these days, FT reeks of people who just don't understand the game when people call him overrated. He has just about everything you want in a LW, RW, CF, and ST, all combined into one - the PERFECT CF. One of the best ever. The raw pace, power, intelligence, playmaking, finisher's instinct, mentality, and heart all in one player. I miss watching players like this, not many anymore. AMAZING VIDEO BRO

Being a Utd fan and watching Rooney play every weekend, you know how good he was. Every attempt or touch he had at that time was world class. Even when CR7 was at Utd, it was always Rooney the heart of the team. Quality finisher, quality passer, quality vision, quality playmaking, aggressive defending, high high work rate. Find me a player like him nowadays, I'll keep on waiting. One of the very best to have graced OT!

From 2004 to 2009/10 there was not 1 team on the planet Rooney would not have walked into and improved. Ultimate team player. Goals, assists, team work, effort. Hes an all time great. Top 5 all time premiership player for me along with Henry, Giggs, Drogba, and take your pic from the popular argument of Scholes/Gerrard/Lampard. I cant seperate them 3 although i do have a favourite but that would be a biased choice. So those 3 incredible midfielders are joint for the 5th spot.
