I have a 1969 shorty Scooby Do cargo van inline 6, 3 on the tree n thought of replacing it with a 350 V8 but now maybe I'll replace the 1 Barrel Carburator for a 2...still not sure because it runs really great after upgraded to a bigger radiator n fan mounted on the front of the radiator. I live in Imperial Valley Ca. It get hot but it's not a daily driver, I m the new owner for 7 years now, bought it from Mr. Martinez who own it for 28 years, still has the original ca. black license plate..✌...just sharing a little info...😎

I have a 70, why did you swap out for a 2bbl? What difference has it made in performance and mileage? My carb is old, weighing my options Thanks!

Sorry for the delay. Yes very much. Power increased, idle smoother, higher speed and honestly in popping the hood its lot more impressive lol
Prevent dirt/debris from getting into the engine by stuffing dirty rags into the intake and valve cover

I’m sorry, I did sell it to a friend for parts. He used the top half of mine to rebuild his carb on his ‘70.
