Was a huge red flag when he didn't even know it had a i5 processor not a i7.
He got it reset and didn't need a password. So it wasn't linked to a account..... if it was stolen it would of clearly stated what account it was linked to. I've got tons of electronics I have zero clue what processor is inside. I've also got tons of electronics linked to strangers accounts... did I steal them? Nope. I'm a storage locker buyer. But wait I've got tattoos. So does that mean I'm still a theif

@@adammonahan687 It had nothing to do with the tattoos. He just didn't seem familiar with it. He clearly said you have to make a new Microsoft account, so it was linked to an account. He could have switched it to local account after. I don't know how that proves it wasn't stolen. I shouldn't assume it's stolen though. I have no idea.

The guy who sold the speakers said he used a wet rag to wipe down the covers. Wet rags, especially at bars, smell HORRIBLE to me. I stopped going to a local bar because of that nasty wet bar rag smell.

As someone who did retail security, you are right on the money. Nervous behavior tell. The second time he asked a question, when his face is close to the camera, you see his eyes wandering off right after he asked the question. He wasn't even listening for an answer. He was already day dreamin. Lol.
I seriously believe the device was hot & they were after drug money. I know as a store owner you have to trust until it is broken. Then again, the right to refuse service is a 2nd option.

The guy said he used a wet towel to wipe down the speaker. Old towels can build up bacteria and will have that musty piss smell when wet. You will have clean, de-sanitize and air it out to get rid of the smell.
Ms. Walters has so much range in vocabulary and sound effects, it is really cool to hear her.

@CraigslistHunter Pete, to get rid of smells from the speakers or anything else, use an ozone generator. Ozone gas rapidly oxidizes anything biological.
This is how hotels prevent rooms from smelling despite the frequent turnover of people, they flush (fill then ventilate) the rooms every few guests, the room then smells of nothing.
You can use it on smaller items, it helps if you put it in a box and fill the box with the ozone gas.
I would have expected you would have had one already, a lot of second hand items can do with a smell removal!

I used to buy those Japanes dolls when I was overseas, they weren't that expensive at the time and they always came in a glass display case.
You can of course buy that fabric to have those speaker grills re wrapped, Just buy a big roll of Brown and Black and you can turn around ugly speakers for a good profit.
I guarantee he wiped them down with a smelly dish rag or smelly sponge.

Hello from the north Country.. Try this to get rid of the stink of wet dog on the screens. Remove screen and place right side up in a tray or something to hold and let them sit. Sprinkle baking soda all over the screen I actually would see if some could sift through the screen so some will have had contact with most of the screen in the sifting process. Place the screen down in the box or tray, sprinkle some more Baking soda on top and let them sit over night.

Use Woolite to clean grills cloths. If they’re plastic frames, spray them with woolite and spray off with a hose gently.

For the smell of the speaker grills you couks spray some Pooph that will remove dog smell and urine smells. Its pretty cheap

The smell is likely from when he wiped down the grills, he took a cloth or towel he used to dry his dog and then used it on the speakers ... that is the best guess.

Pretty sure that guy re-did the speakers himself. He was talking about fixing stuff up on his other things on his own. So we have a guy that looks to fix stuff on his own, and some speakers he's selling that have been worked on all over. While it's the sound that matters, I wouldn't buy anything that had dog stank that deep ingrained into it. I'd rather spend extra to get ones that didn't smell.

And not knowing if its i5 or i7 is normal, i bought my laptop 1 year ago, i did research about prossesors before choosing it, and i would not be able to remember today if its i5, i7 or i9

Pete, you should consider getting the comics graded. I know you're familiar with the process, comics like these don't get graded very often so they are very easy sells. Obviously you'll want to familiarize yourself with how to tell if the condition of a comic warrants grading, and you will also want to invest in a heat press ($200ish), which can remove imperfections, but it could be well worth your time! If you ever want to know more I would love to talk about it with you via email or a phone call.

THAT SMELL. Pete anything that you want to get the smell out of. put it in the direct sunlight a few days should do the trick. this even works on freezers that have a bad smell. the sun will take the smell out. sometimes it might take several days but it sure beats throwing it!
