I'm back at it, buying lockers and going on a treasure hunt. This time I picked up a small locker for just one dollar, and get a decent amount of stuff for that small investment. One of the biggest surprises is a large jug of change that will make my profits soar on this one!

15 years ago my uncle bought storage units, in a pair of old jeans he found $15,000 in hundred dollar bills in the pockets, he had those jeans out on a table for sale for a week or longer and was gathering nonmoving items to throw away when he felt the pockets had something...what a lucky break.

remember the small tv's are retro now and people use them to play the old gaming systems.. digital tv's don't work for old consoles. Seen old Sony's go for three figures on ebay.

Really glad that you give the personal items back to the office, other people probably would probably just throw it out. Probably means a lot to someone.
Ya and then the office has to keep it and try to contact the owner who won't come down because they figure they will be hit up for money. Ask about that at the office and they will tell you they have a whole unit full of personal papers that they legally have to hold. If those papers etc are so valuable why aren't the owners there buying their unit back?

Jack, Miss Me jeans are expensive. Used can still go for $75-$100 on swap shops. Some a little lower or higher.

I would just love to load one of these dollar storage finds, trace the family and let them decide if they want anything back. Wondered what happened with them as it seems like a lifetime of memories being thrown away.

You should wash the towels with vinegar and arm and hammer odor blasters detergent and donate them to animal shelters and the clothes wash same way and donate to homeless shelters and churches.

sock with corn in it is homemade warmer, stick it in the microwave for a minute and then you can put it on your neck, back, tummy, etc. Usually it has dried rice or dried beans in it.

Love the enthusiasm! I just started buying lockers about a year ago and it is the best!!! I am trying to improve my system for pickup and sorting but I do bring trash bags and gloves always! Keep up the great content! I'm going to check out the second half to this episode!

I always check the pockets on any used clothing, especially jeans. I've found all denominations of bills folded up in jean pockets. I pick them up at garage sales, estate sales, and even on the sidewalks on trash day.
I like the way you have everything set up so orderly, garbage bins etc.

Miss Me jeans are high end and I have found $150.00 in a book so I always check through all of the pages and I have found money in the pokeys of clothes too. With all the money you found I say this locker was a big winner that will continue to make you money at the flea market and auction. But I hit the subscribe button at the coach purse and Disney Globe because I enjoyed how you can see potential and look past dust. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Jack, you defiantly get an A++ for your set up with the white canopy sun shade, table sorting station. The Disney snow globes sell quickly 40-50 bucks. Matrix shampoo I use myself excellent product 15-20.00 retail. Jackpot on finding the glass jar with the quarters. You are so funny and we enjoy watching your videos.
Just a note the dirty jacket you through out, please check the pockets prior. Many people hide cash in jacket pockets. Keep up these amazing videos!!

I would check that makeup bag; with my luck all of the gold jewelry would be in there! I just found a really nice 14k bracelet on the kiddie shelf at an estate sale and another one in one of those satin jewelry pouches with a glass necklace. (bought the bag so fast...naturally.) I'd toss the makeup itself; used makeup can be dangerous, especially these days.

I found your channel last week and I'm obsessed. Question - when you get the units for $1 is it because no one is interested and the storage company just wants it cleaned out?

Both. Some facilities reserve the right to set a lowest price. So if no one bids the lowest price the locker unit is not sold. In this case, that did not happen and they just wanted it gone and Jack was the only bidder at $1. It's a huge benefit to some facilities to let the lockers go at $1, it costs a lot of money to have someone come in and clean the place out, then dump the items. You can see Jack sorting the items plus he has his trusty garbage can. He will need to make a "dump run" in the end which costs money to do. The facility wins in that the the locker is cleaned out and Jack scored by already making his money back with the coins, the rest is profit. You really can't lose on a $1 unit BUT as you can see it is an enormous amount of work.
