Definitely! I went back to school too soon after a bad concussion, and I ended up having headaches for nearly a year, and required physiotherapy
I agree with this so much, I fell last week and definitely got a concussion. The next night I shivered and sweet and was so so thirsty, it was really scary! I still feel kinda off. I hope you heal up really good hun ❤

MIA!! I stopped MID VIDEO to yell at you lmao. PLEASE take your concussion seriously. I struggled with letting screens go on my first concussion, and ended up with post-concussive syndrome that made my life miserable for over a year. I know you are committed to your work, your content, your audience, and consistency, which is so very admirable and I LOVE everything you put out, but concussions are serious business, even if they are mild. **PLEASE** allow your brain time to rest, limit your screen time, and slowly increase your activity with things that are lighter that don't involve screens until you can tolerate it. Listen to your body, if it gives you a headache, hurts your eyes, makes you nauseous etc, back off of it and rest. Much love to you, please care for yourself

I work with small boutiques all over the US and believe me TikTok Shop has been a HUGE help to their business. ❤ There may be several brands that sell poor quality clothing at low prices but there are also boutiques like The Willow Tree or Kali Rose Boutique that offer beautiful content and their clothing is EXCEPTIONAL. ☺️✨

It sounds like TikTok Shop is like all the other marketplaces: a combination of legit businesses just using the platform to help get their names out there (the branded items), cheap dropshippers (the low-quality/might fall apart after the first wash stuff), and scammers/fakes (the Ralph Lauren sweater).

She reminds me of myself, I don’t have heel issues but I have some on the front part of my feet & toes.
Constantly have toe infections for no reason, also eczema everywhere on my body & it’s even worse on my scalp.
On top of that my skin breaks out into hives daily, even without me having an allergic reaction.
And mentioning allergies, when it comes to makeup and skincare etc. I’m allergic to almost everything (stupidly the “allergy friendly” products make my skin react even worse).
I think my most ironic allergy is aloe Vera, because it’s supposed to be soothing but it’s extremely irritating for me 🥲👍
I also have some food allergies, but I don’t mind those that much since none of them are deadly.
I have chronic headaches & get sick super easily.
& on top of all that I’m hypersensitive to everything due to my autism.
My body is so great 🥹👌
(Btw I’m currently getting treatment for a few things so dw, despite all this I’m not doing too horrible)

As someone with chronic pain the halara trousers are seriously life saving! They are so comfy and allow you to actually be able to do things in them!
Agreed! I have chronic pain too and they're so easy to put on, comfortable, good quality and flattering. I won't be buying pants and leggings from anywhere else for a long time!
Me, a Trader Joe's employee: My time has come
Trader Joes actually doesn't make anything themselves. We pay manufacturers to label things privately and cut out third parties so that we can pass along savings to our customers, and also so that we can have quality control (non-gmo, no artifical colors or preservatives, etc.) so something like Fruit Loops could potentially still be coming from the same manufacturer theoretically, but they'll tweak the recipe 1) so it fits our standards and 2) so that it's slightly different than the name brand product. But yeah, that's why 85% of the store is our own private label.

It's really important that you rest your brain and eyes as much as possible. (I've had concussions and a traumatic brain injury) I hope your recovery is quick and you fully heal without any lasting effects.💐❤️
I dont do pedicures! Not only cause of infections; cause my mom almost died from a pedicure
The salon my mom went wld dig out the sides of the toenail under the skin super aggressively, and they'd often cut the person -I used to go with my mom.
The cut she got from that triggered flesh-eating bacteria (it lives on your skin, and a cut/wound can activate it). Thankfully, she survived, barely. (most ppl sadly don't survive FEB). She was on a ventilator in a medical coma, her legs knees down turned black, her blood stopped clotting, and they had a pirest to come for last rights. Somehow, she managed to pull through. She's bee permanently disabled since then; she can't walk unassisted, she lost 2 toes (They honestly thought she'd be a paraplegic tho) and she had to relearn to walk, use her hands,and everything. It took 2 years of physical therapy. It destroyed a lot of her nerves. Just be careful out there, y'all! Make sure the place is safe, regulated, and clean~♡

REALLY liked the format of this video Mia! The testing a different way to shop, the haul, the try-on, the wear test, the vacay vlog, life updates. I'd love to see more vlogs on your channel. I'm happy you did your hair the way you feel more like you, BUT the darker colour really does something for your complexion and eyes more than blonde does. At the end of the day it's your hair, your decision, but love the short cut on you for sure 😊 When I cut my hair shorter I changed up the colour way more often than when I had longer hair, not sure why!

One of the many things I love about Mia is that she always lets us know if something is itchy or uncomfortable! Comfy shoes are the best; my faves are Aerosoles and LifeStride for heels, sandals, and cute boots (IMO they're the least old-ladyish of the support/comfort brands). For sneakers, my favorite are Vans with the ComfyCush memory foam insoles (love the Sk8 Hi style). I used to be on my feet all day for work up to 11 hours, and they helped immensely.
There are so much pictures of the clothes that I recognise from shein!! The first sweater i bought on shien with the exact same picture!

if you like the blonde, you should try it with ashier tones! that would compliment your skin tone really well. i love the more ashy/cool tone blonde but realized i look better in warmer tones and it makes such a difference!

With yet another video of fast fashion, which I do enjoy, I'd love to see some information on recycling clothing so it can be made into other industrial products. I'm not talking about reusing, donating for others to use and repurposing garments but actually breaking down the items for recycling into flooring, or other products. The thrift shop closest to my house takes in too many clothes to sell and I notice that in the back of this store they have huge cubes of compacted clothing on pallets that are picked up by a big truck and taken away. I'm thinking these are taken to a recycling facility and hoping they are not going to the landfill. I'm mostly wondering how an average person can make sure their used clothing is being recycled.

The real test for cheap clothes is after you wash them a few times. That is when seams start to unravel, fabric fades, and also pills. That is why this kind of clothes doesn't last or hold its shape for any length of time. Plus, I think you look great as more of a blond!

…. I would hardly call an entire video about tiktok shop “promoting sustainable fashion”. Many of the reviews are an endorsement of sorts and I’m imagine people went searching for some of these items after watching the video. Truly promoting sustainable and ethically sourced fashion would be actually showcasing said fashion- instead of supporting the industry by ordering sand (perhaps unintentionally) influencing people to do the same.
Why say “I worry about the ethics” and then go buy said unethical items..

But the tiktok shop video kinda crossed that line for me. Tiktok shop is almost entirely dropped shipped and sourced from manufacturers who pay their workers pennies for each item made. I love Mia but this video was a disappointment 😞

And yeah I can imagine the TikTok shop products are terrible in terms of sustainability… TikTok is horrible in and of itself self. Been TikTok free since 2021, after using it for maybe a year.

So sorry about your pedicure experience - I can really empathise! I had a pedicure ONCE and got a fungal infection from it (they probably didn't properly clean the tools) 😭😭 it won't go away so I have to put on medication every week for the rest of my life to keep it under control. Never going for a pedicure again
I am so sorry to hear that. I wouldn’t go anywhere that doesn’t obviously line their tubs and open new packages of tools. If you see them not doing that, it is a red flag and don’t go there. I thankfully have never had that issue but it is possible. I have had other issues with them though so you have to be cautious.

That white top with the rosette is giving Briarberry and it gave me the biggest nostalgiabomb. Pretty sure I owned a top similar to that when I was small enough to dress my (bigger, not Briarberry) teddy bear in my own clothes, with cute little cap or puff sleeves. Adorable to the max.
