hey, as a member of the mermaid community I wanted to leave some information. 1. It is EXTREMELY dangerous to swim in a mermaid tail without a monofin as that is the power behind the tail that gives you ease of swimming instead of drowning. 2. Mermaid Lucia has been in trouble in the past for having stolen designs and for selling products saying it is her own work when really she was only a distributor and someone else was manufacturing the product. I don't know if these specific items are stolen designs, I just don't want anyone getting hurt or scammed like members of the mermaid community have in the past

I was super impressed by the whole mermaid outfit actually working in the water but I'll tell you the biggest thing that blew me away was just how big your parents hot tub is. Holy cow. I've never seen a free standing hot tub that BIG before. Loved this video though. Lol.
The original butterfly sparkle shoes are unfortunately from dolls kill but you can find them second hand pretty easily, if you wanted to see what they are supposed to look like 💕💕

1. Check where the shop is located or where they ship from (I choose shops in my country or anywhere else in the EU)
2. Read their bio if it seems genuine (when there's no bio at all it's an immediate no!)
3. Check the description of the item for more details about how it's made
4. Read reviews, look at the ones with pics!

@mhanshaw165 I recommend looking at the overall shop before ordering and usually the pictures looking like a screenshot....it's hard to be 100% sure but follow your gut! Dropshippers tend to not have a niche bc they're trying to maximize profit.
@@mhanshaw165try putting the images into google search and seeing if other shops come up. really lazy ones will re-use the same photos. if they take the effort to take their own photos of the drop shipped items then you won’t be able to tell as easily ):
A little tip! They sell mermaid mono fins and that will definitely help ur tail hold it’s shape and show off all of its elegant potential! Plus it will look even better in photo shoots,and most importantly help u swim elegantly and safely!❤️
I adore the way this video lurches between moments of really quite professional, and then bits of just playing dress up with your mummy. Relationship goals. I love love love seeing Mia and her Mom interact because they always make my day and put a smile on my face!! I'm sure just like any Mom and daughter there will be ups and downs on and off screen but the bond they have is amazing and makes me miss my Mom so very very much! While beautiful, they can run THOUSANDS of Dollars per tail. Unless you get the cloth ones like Shein, SunTails or FinFun mermaid tails.

Uhm silicone tails are a serious investment. Mine was $2600 and that's cheap

Lol, my thoughts exactly! And I worked in a creative environment where you could get away with a lot more. That dress could only be worn with like a 60 denier hose or tights and a bolero or sth. In a more conservative environment you'd be sent home 😅.

(Pssst, mermaid here, there are tails that are actually cheaper out there. Mertailor and Finfolk Productions are the first two that come to my mind. Usually at the 2k price point you are looking at silicone tails. Either way, if you do, make sure you get a monofin and swim with a buddy.)

Mia, I love you! Just wanted to say I don’t think the Etsy butterfly platform heels are the original ones. That’s why they look soo different from the product photos. I’ve seen them being sold on Dolls Kill. They’re not nearly as expensive there but (I THINK, pls don’t come at me if I am wrong TnT) I think those are the original ones.

I’m actually kind of impressed that the mermaid tail worked and didn’t just fail miserably in the water considering the wiring wasn’t packed away like you’d expect. Somehow I suspect that thing has a limited lifespan in the water. Like it was labeled for wedding meaning they anticipate a one-time use scenario. If someone who was a performer picked it up, I somehow doubt it’d hold up to daily water usage

Mia! I love your light up mermaid tail! Definitely wear a monofin with it to help you swim! I make my own silicone mermaid tails, which are pretty heavy, but they swim super well. If you were to get a silicone tail though, be sure to have someone help you learn how to swim in one and help you get it on. (Fabric tails are best for beginners) The light up tail you got was super baggy as far as mermaid tails are concerned which tend to be like a second skin, which is why I may have felt heavy for you. Popping a monofin in the bottom will also help support the bottom and will help with the feeling of the tail being heavy. If you would like any tips or recs, please hit me up! Happy swimming, Mia!

As a professional mermaid, I’m assuming that tail is supposed to have a monofin in it! That way you can actually swim with propulsion rather then just sink and possibly drown from the weight. Luckily you were just doing a try on but if you ever do want to actually swim in it please put a monofin in the fluke! We wouldn’t want anything happening to you Mia! If you plan on giving this tail away please please consider giving it to me! I would love to add this to my collection.

Ive been watching for years and can say this was one of the best videos ever. Mia found some of the cutest and interesting pieces you can find out there and tested the quality of all the pieces. She gave you a breakdown on how easy it was to get into and wear the pieces and was so thoughtful about how she dresses up the pieces. This is the video to watch if you are seriously looking for these too good to be true items. (Finally stopped saying pieces). Anyways, if it weren't for the ethics around the mermaid tail, I wouldn't have minded Mia starting a series of learning how to water dance to eventually perform for a little girls pool party (at night)
