Love your haircut!!❤ I totally agree that bottom up can be trickier for the finished fit. After performing 1 too many sweater surgeries I now start all bottom up sweaters with a provisional cast on and I skip the ribbing. This way I can add or subtract length after the sweater is done then knit the ribbing

so excited for your Kool-Aid dye video! Reminds me of when dying your hair with Kool-Aid was all the rage when I was in middle school. I did that but with offbrand and it never faded from my hair… lol I would be interested to know how much dye bleeding your scarf had with Hi-C
I was never cool enough to brave the Kool-Aid hair trend. Maybe I'll try it now that I'm an adult lol!

Hi. With knitting a bottom up anything, why not just measure from your armpit down to where you want it. I prefer bottom up, when I learned to knot in the 70's, all patterns were bottom up. Top down and circular yokes is a relatively recent thing
Surely that would make a lot of sense... it just seems I always have the wrong measurement in my head of what I want. Maybe this time will be the key to unlocking bottom up for me!
I personally love the chicken. Also booooo to bottom up anything. I keep making them but it ruins my life ever time
