Tempest's Eye sounds like a really cool place. I really like the idea of the Tempest Lords taking a more active role in the governance of the city. It seems like a prime location for an interesting political thriller, perhaps centering on the ethics of demigods ruling over mortals.

We should get a lot of lore on Aqshy and its cities when the RPG book drops as it's based there to start. Looking forward to that.

With the massive importance of legacy in Hamhall it would be cool to theme a regiment or character around a more tainted and less noble legacy I think, like a militia where only the worst of Hammhalls dungeons can supply because no one else will recruit to it.

You are right, Hallowheart does mine Aqshy Realmstone. That is also the reason why the Collegiate Arcanum has such a strong presence there. I like that their main building is made from the Realmstone which allows it to shapeshift based on the whims of the wizards.

I absolutely love the tempest eye lore and tempest lords! If you could do a video on them that would be awesome!

these cities have to be home to millions there is no other way for them to be as massive as they are Hammerhal has to be home to at least ten million.

I was a bit disappointed in the focus on Aqshy and Ghyran - with seven cities being featured it seemed one from each realm would have been a logical way to go. And from a full rules standpoint, something like they're doing in their 40k codexes would have been good, where you could create your own city by choosing a couple of rules from a list to reflect it's personality.

I’m running Glymmsforge from Soul Wars. I’ll probably run it as Anvilgard. The sigmar lore is fun but young. I’m guessing GW I’d giving it a few more years to stand on its own

@@theoadamsiv7844 Fair, but they even mention Lethis (from Shyish) in the background sections, so it just seems odd that they restricted it like that. Still, you're right - a lot of the first few years have concentrated on the realms of fire and life, so I suppose they're just going with what they have background for.

@@stephenhumphreys9149 This book mostly builds on the old Firestorm campaign which had rules for exactly this seven cities.

I understand why we didn't get any cities in Hysh and Ulgu, because Sigmar's forces haven't really gone there. And Azyr basically has no real conflict. But I'm surprised that cities like Excelsis, Glymmsforge, Gravewild, and Lethis (which is super important in the new story arch) didn't make it in.

i know the question is late but, are there only fire wizards on aqshy? or are there all lores of magic present? and if not, do fire wizards get a power boost compared as if they would be on other realms?

Not sure I like stormcasts passing laws and being the heads of politics. When you're an immortal demigod with none of the mortal issues, it's a bit difficult to identify with and recognize mortal issues. Not saying it's a bad idea from a writing perspective, just that it'd create some interesting issues and plots surrounding that city.

It depends on the chamber. It could be hundreds or less than a hundred. But an entire stormhost goes from 5000 to 10000.
