My mom used to make these and I couldn’t get enough of them. One day I asked her to show me how to make them and she told me the three ingredients needed and I was so shocked that those delicious cookies were pretty much the easiest thing ever to make! My mom passed away going on 3 years ago and I miss her deeply so today I’m making these cookies in memory of my mom 🥰

I have been using this recipe for Peanut butter cookies for about 30 years. My family used to call them Poor Man's Peanut butter cookies. Now we call them Gluten free cookies!!! Lol!!
Despite the fact they are good, I really would not call this "poor" man's recipe as normally what makes a cookie cheap is using flour. If you were to compare the cost of this recipe vs another standard peanut butter cookie recipe I think you would be surprised how much more this recipe costs per cookie
I'm 70 and my grandmother used to make these when I was a kid, but she added a splash of vanilla. So, I guess her cookies were 4 ingredient... She let me help. I used to press the fork down to flatten them. Eating them with a glass of milk was pure childhood heaven!

I’m in the house with my 6 kids and husband and what do I have in abundance.... eggs, sugar and peanut butter!!!!!! I had forgotten this recipe as it was a favorite of my big sister. It was in our Smurf’s recipe book of easy kid recipes. Thank you for it! We are just trying to obey the law and survive this covid19 pandemic.

Update: I have been making my version ever since I saw his video a year ago. My version uses extra crunchy peanut butter and half of the sugar (of course adding the egg). Sooooo good! A couple of times I added chopped pecans. I enjoy the flavors and the added nutty crunch. Have fun! Blessings to everyone🙏

I was very pleasantly surprised by how great these turned out! Then I got a little decadent and added a fourth ingredient. I made a small pit on the top of the cookies while they were cooling and put a scoop of jelly to make PB&J cookies 😋 I would recommend that too 👌🏼

Bugoutbrian i’ve made these cookies before; my sister got this recipe from someone and passed it on to me and I’ve made it with chocolate chips and substituted the regular sugar for brown sugar just because that’s all I had at the time, and they came out amazing! Love this recipe.

Hi David, been hanging out to make some peanut butter cookies for my husband. I changed up the sugar using half a cup of dark brown sugar and half a cup of caster sugar because that's what I had. I also added my own touch by adding a drop of plum jam making them Pb&J drops. Thanks for another great recipe xoxox.

My Mother in law made these for my boys when they were little. I had forgotten about them until my grandchildren came a long. She developed Alzheimer's before I could get the recipe. Tried alot of recipes, made alot of mistakes, but then figured it out. Thanks for the memories.
