Customer: Can I have change for a dollar?
Rick: Best I can do is 75 cents
good one
You gotta remember though that he's taking all the risk
😂
😂😂
Hahaha
I would buy them both for $6
Jack Crowley ha
Makes me happy to see you typed $6 instead of 6$ lol FANKS for that
What kind of idiot types a dollar amount with the money symbol behind the dollar amount?
D. Dalb Your mom
Mr. Mojo, I would have outbid you because my offer would have been 6.50. :-)
Customer: I have the flag that the Americans planted on the moon
Expert: yeah it’s worth 200 million
Rick: highest i can do is 20,000
Reaper he’s taking a huge risk there
@@ChrisTokes05 Dammit i was about to say that...
FBI agent: the lowest jail time I can do is life
And thats his top dollar
thats basically this show in a nutshell
That is just stupid I wouldn't allow four thousand for my $5 bill I want my $50,000.
Exactly
Buy money with money=profit
That’s not what it’s worth though
Ikr😂
SECURETEAM10!!!
I swear they pay the experts to low ball some of these prices
Ryan Masi It is a Pawn Shop. You are lucky to get 10 cents on the dollar.
its more of a vested interest to quote it on the low end scale of the market value to protect the buyer
Based on what?
Compared to what the owner thinks they're worth??
yes, they actually do, that is why they asked first how much the owner wants for their items, and then you know the rest.
Ryan Masi you bet your ass they do.
Mind if I call an "expert" who will lowball you before I lowball you even more?
Balti Pasta “yeah that sounds good “
Balti Pasta lmao
Rick is actually pretty fair. I saw a number of times when people offered to sell their jewelry and Rick actually offered more than what they asked because it’s worth more.
Nesto And Roberto flfk
Flicker oh yeah yeah?
5 + 1 = 6
Sorry only can do $6
Underrated Comment Lmao
No he would do like 3
Can you do 6.50?
@@numberoath best I can do is $6.25
Best I can do is -$20, I’ve gotta get it framed I’m taking all the risk here
I love how she was right when she said it was top of the the sheet Cory says it can be a misprint expert says it’s the top of the sheet lol 😂
Lol I thought the same thing
Sell it in an auction not a pawn shop
Auction fees aren't cheap like Corey said.
@@gilavalos2400 yea but pawnshops have a reputation for buying cheep and selling high
Galaxy Hero yea but they give you cash
@@galaxyhero2454 They have to make money to stay in business, duh.
If she sold the bill for 29,000 at an auction, she would make $20,300 which is twice as much as she was offered
Should not have sold it
Ahmed360 im hoping she had more than just those two😨
Nice spoiler
Ahmed360 À
Ahmed360 money money money is all people want
it wouldnt have been. its all fake. and Id say these were not sold. I mean they had holes in them etc LOL no one buys junk like that
This women was smart and went about pawning her things perfectly. Respect
808bboarder *selling.. not pawning
Yeah, it makes her kinda hot in a strange way......damn, I'm getting old lol
Drej 101 you think you're getting old lol, I know exactly what you mean. I'm pushing 50 and would only do her if she had most of her clothes on. The women my age have really bad bodies.
Then again, I wouldn't touch her. Married for 20 years to a sweet girl 11 years younger who looks 20 years younger than she does.
how is selling something that valuable on a pawn shop ever smart?? u go to a pawnshop when ur desparate to have quick cash. to get a good peice for an item u have to sell where people actualy are looking for it. to the best biter
Tran - remember many of these items end up at auctions that charge as much as 30% to sell it. Also remember, many people who have money don't care if they take a loss on something that's in their way, or they don't want anymore. Rich sellers are often the best to deal with because of this.
Michael Jordan: “I’ve come to sell my signed shoes.”
Pawn stars: “awesome, but I gotta call in a signature specialist”
Tffffff
Lmaooo
Chumlee proceeds to tell him that his Jordans are fake
Haha make my Day xd
Hahahah
Enter LeBron.
This is like the Holy Grail of US Dollars
@undo.kat and she put pinholes in it. Even If she was young that's so dumb.
It's the cat's meow.
And a stupid little girl pinned it to her cork board like 30 times all over it
I've got Jesus toenail...I want 20bucks for it.
Rick..most I can offer is a buck it's just a toenail dude! but let me call my Vietnamese toenail expert she's next door to me doing nails as we speak! xD
Andy M I’m Vietnamese and I consider this is racist.....jk jk 😂😂😂

Not funny
nwowolfpacfan415 not funny you moron, I'm Vietnamese
I liked it at first until you brought my culture in. Not funny dude
So this is what Arthur Morgan used in the 1800’s
Why I clicked
this what dutch needed
Hey there mister!!
I used them to jackass
mhm
NEVER tell them what you want for your item. They tell their "friend" the amount and they lowball you. Get a clue people.
“Give the money to my mom for Mother’s Day” hahahahahahaha
haha I was just about to comment about this. Jesus how rich is she that she was going to give her mother $45,000 for a mother's day gift?
mid life crisis.
Boss of the treasury in the family so possibly they are not short on money unless he is from a branch of family that royaly fucked up.
Casino bound.
@@jeffouellette9946 way too lucid for that.

birdy1numnum is good
Its a scamm
She was smart to hold on too the No.1 Bill ,,,, she can definitely find a collector who will pay dearly,,,
Made absolutely no sense to sell something so rare for a measly $4,000. I bet that $5 dollar bill is easily worth 5 figures.
@Joetoy90 my man, if serial number 1 isn't worth 5 figures nothing is
Not even, its a 6500 note yes, but the serial #1 is epic in comparison. Could easily bring 9k-13k.
Person: I’m looking for 50k
Rick: lemme call in an expert
Expert: it’s worth 100k
Rick: the best I can do is 2k
"And I am taking a huge risk there... :D "
What do you expect from Chiseler City?
Lady: I'm going to get the money and buy my mom a Mother's Day gift
Lady: (wants 45,000 dollars)
not even buy her q gift just give her all the money
To buy pokemon cards
I REALLY LOVE HOW THIS LADY IS VERY WELL MANNERED N VERY WELL SPOKEN! ..U DONT REALLY SEE PEOPLE LIKE THAT ANYMORE!
She wants to give the money to her mother, very sweet. Corey was very respectful, knows quality when he sees it.
who gives 45k to his mother? wake up. she surely will not give all of it to mom, maybe a few K to her.
apart from that, the lady is dumb. she wants 16k for 5 dollar bill, then sells it for 4k. thebuyer kid is very tricksy.
Yes, sweet but silly. I am sure her mother is near 90 and the daughter will receive it right back. I feel I am correct. She did not look too ghetto.
"I was told it's worth about 8-10k so, I was thinking 16k." wat
good
mur1954 or +17659861705
8-10k for one of the dollar bills and they wanted 16k for both 🤦♂️

Her: My aunt's grandfather was the US Treasurer back in the 1800's
Cory: Was He allowed to just hand out money?
Me: I don't know Cory, is it legal to give someone both a $5 and a 1$ bill?
He did a good buy. The 5$ didnt have any pinholes in it, and it was a rare "top sheet cut" bill.
Can I talk to your manager
"I am yo manager!"
I can only thing of a woman named "Karen" asking for the managed lmfao

What?
hahahahaha
Lol

Cool of Corey to make an offer on just one. Nice score. Was fun to watch. Great video
That makes me mad that she stuck it on her pinboard

;)
Ero Sennin You don't know that
"I asked some people and they said these were valued around $35,000, so I'm asking for $45,000 so you can still make a profit"
Nick Hager I think 45k counts for both the bills.
Warden Greams it does but if you listen to her she says people told her they were valued at ~35k combined.
Hahaha that’s hilarious, oh my god can’t stop Laughing
She's far from stupid. You can tell she's absolutely loaded or else she wouldn't be dishing out 45K to her mom for Mother's Day. Not to mention she probably has a lineage of ppl who worked for the treasury and US government.
she said 1895 xd
I love how they have “experts” come in and lowball just so they can lowball even more.
Rick catches Chumlee cramming one of those bills into the snack machine
Dude: It’s a Brand New Private jet
Pawn stars
: Maybe $0.30 I am gonna have to get an expert on it
Seller: I’d like to sell the first pancake mix box ever made
Him: I don’t know much about it let me call a friend
“I have a $1 bill that Abraham Lincoln has in his wallet when he died”
Rick: I’ll give you $.20. And even that would be putting my neck on the line.
Hi 🙋♂️
She is 🔥
That $5 bill was worth alot more but Im glad she didn’t sell that $1 bill. I would probably pay 22K alone just for the $1 bill. wow what a rare bill!!
3:10
Bill expert - “ I think the 1 is worth $15000 retail and the 5 is worth $5000 retail.”
Lady - “I think his estimate was probably dealer wholesale.”
Me: “ He just said it was retail you freakin toolbox.”
:D
This is my FAVORITE Show on TV ID WATCH IT 24 HRS A DAY IF IT WAS POSSIBLE GO GANG PAWN STARS BE GOOD
Awesome Video !!! 👍🏻
She said 1895 its 1875
Betsa Aghvami yeah i also caught that
Me too
There was also no 1883 series of brown backs. It's Series 1882, not 83.
0:32 she said 1895 when the caption said “75”
0:26 That Typo
on screen though. Spotted 2years later 😂
I think these people forget that they’re walking into a PAWN SHOP. 😂
Seller: "I'm asking 16 thousand for the 5 dollar bill"
Corey: "Where did you get that figure from?"
Seller: " Had someone tell me it's worth between 8 and 10"
Say what?????
Yeah I was wondering the same thing, like wtf
She knew they would low ball her so she went in super high. If they offer half her asking price she gets fair value.
It's the ol switch aroo.
lol what to expect from a blond.
Wow this thing is NOICE!
3:01 Her look is I knew it! :D And the paper head, top of the sheet, she was right on about that too!
"I'd give the money to my mother for her mothers day present." 😂😂 lmao
Hahah "I got $4000 for my $5 so I'm *pretty* happy" lol..
I get it's rare it just sounded funny...
Yeah even though she got offered $16,500 for both she denies it and she accepts $4,000 for one
National musium: 75k for first edition? Someday.
3:31 she looks so disappointed 😂 lol
Old bills look so much cooler than three ones we've got today.
She could’ve have gotten a lot more, in my opinion. She absolutely was right when she said it was about the persons desire for the bills in which amount they will pay for them. I bet somebody saw this show that has money would have paid top dollar. Even more than what she was asking...
She asked for $16000 for the "brownback", when asked how she determined that amount she advised she been told it was worth $8000-$10000.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Customer: can I trade in this old ten
Rick: best I can do is $2
"Im going to have to call somebody who knows a little more than I do" that is the ultimate trap card
Haha she said she wants 26 ,000 and the expert said about 5,000😂😂
Nope, that's not what was said at all.
She said 16k on that one.
expert low balls them, pawn shops are a scam.
And she admitted that someone else she had talked to had told her that $5 bill was worth between $8,000 to $10,000.
Seller: Top of the Sheet
Corey: Misprint
Expert: Top of Sheet
Conclusion: Corey is wrong... Again.

STONKS!
I really enjoy how he put almost brand new to a really low price and put the very fine for more
I wish I were in a position where I could make $45,000 on something and just give it to my mom.
That's the holy grail of 1875 $1 serial number 1 bills
Jba 99 the pin holes almost gave me an anxiety attack though, and I don’t even collect money
Ye and it was wasted on a girl who pushed pins through it
why does his hand always move as if hes going to give someone a right hook whenever he goes in for a handshake? lol
*Brings in King Arthur's Holy Grail*

Best I can do is 2 dollars

nice currency 💴 she’s low key kinda fine too 🤷🏻♂️🤪
Wow a $30,000 bill for Christmas! I'm gonna put some tac holes in it!
The big number on the brown back's reverse is the bank's charter number. Every bank had its own unique number. The #1 charter went to the First National Bank of Philadelphia. The government approved bank charters and shipped to banks bills printed with their bank's name in sheets of four. The cashier and bank president then signed or stamped their names near the bottom edge. The cashier then cut the bills off with plain ol scissors in most cases. Bills were typically cut off the sheet as needed as a safety feature. Occasionally, the teller didn't bother cutting the border strip off of the top or bottom of the sheet and the bills survived in that state, as shown in the vid. There were various fonts and styles used for the banks' titles. One fancy design called the circus poster layout can make the bill worth more money. No matter where the bill came from, it could be used anywhere in the country. Brown backs came in the 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 denominations only. The 5 featured the image of Pres. James Garfield who was assassinated in 1881.
If i was her, i would pass these bills on to the next family member and not sell them
Do you still have the $1 bill? Ill give you 50k right now
Murphey Its You ouuu
I can do you one better. because i'm feeling generous I can sell you a NEWER, BETTER CONDITION one dollar bill for 45,000$
I got 1 $1 dollar bill with minimal wrinkles.
i got a dollar bill u can buy. it has low hours on it and fires up on first kick
Ill give you 15 cents and not a penny more and Im taking a huge risk here
Could u imagine if she had the first ever dollar bill
Worth millions
National treasure and she put it on her bulletin board as a kid
That would have been hilarious
Rick: thanks for bringing these in, what would you like to do with them?
Customer: i would just like to show these to you today, thanks.
They don't NEVER want to give out alot of money😂😂
What are you talking about? They _never_ want to pay top dollar (and for good reason).
r0bw00d , I'm saying everytime i watch this on CZcams, THEY NEVER wanna go with the price that the owner wants. They always wanna offer something low for the item. I don't have to explain myself to you.
Ryan Gluszewski, okay but this IS MY OPINION.
Do you give out hundreds or thousands of extra when you buy things?
Nasia Smith Your "opinion" is nonsense. You have no clue what you're talking about and you're WRONG.
I have Thanos's gauntlet. Best I can do is 20 bucks.
That was a good move for Cory to spike one of those bills for the shop. Part of something is better than all of nothing!
What do you think they're worth?
Me: "6 dollars."
I have the first car ever made and I'm looking for around 567 to $890,000
Rick: The best I can do is $10 its way to risky plus it's just a car anyway
He payed $4K for $5
This lady definitely pulled off the lot in a convoy of roles Royce
2:52 she looks at Corey like *see!*
She said that she is going to give her mom all that money for Mother’s Day wtf
“Wholesale” this stuff don’t come wholesale
For the first time in my life I caught myself screaming at a screen, "saying don't do it, don't do it, you better not sell that 5 dollar bill!"
Back in the late 60s - early 70s a little old lady neighbor used to pay me for snow shovelling and lawn mowing. Sometimes it was a $2 bill and sometimes 2 $1 Silver Certificates. It all got spent. LOL. My mom did hold on to a couple of the bills for decades but I don't know what ever became of them. Easy come, easy go.
Keep them for another 20 years
Here a tip folks. When they call a “expert” they tell them what they want the expert to say... get an appraisal and take that certification with you to sell.
Homie was like I think this bill is like uhmmmmmm..... you can tell he don’t know he price
Call or teleport someone in? The transition from 2:00 to 2:04. The dude just appears, because the same guests are in the back. lol.
I know it is pre-recorded, but still cracked me up.
I would not have sold at all.
I would pay the 30% auction fee I would put it on Sotheby's and trust me I would get a whole lot more than what I'm asking even after they 30% Commission
that 1$ bill is priceless!!!
How do you do Mr Thanks Thank you very much
A 30% auction fee still leaves you with $31,500 if you sell them for $45,000
Customer- "I want 45k"
Rick- "let me call a buddy of mine"
Expert-" I would value this at 50k"
Rick- "you're fired "
Serial number one is the true cat’s meow
Lady: I would like 70k
Rick: 6 dollars take it or leave
