- Follow me as I embark on my first-ever gravel race, the UCI Gravel World Series Blaavand Challenge in Denmark. I cycled from the Netherlands to Denmark to get there, not knowing what to expect from this kind of racing. This was an epic race that was full of mud, wet sand, and gravel - and I had a lot of fun!
This race is absolutely full of character and is a great way to test your skills as a gravel racer. In this video, I share my tips on what I learnt from racing gravel for the first time and give you a firsthand experience of riding in a bunch.

After watching you and Manon, I realized the huge difference between an Ultra-endurance rider and a Track cyclist. Even your mental toughness is beyond comparison. You made this look like a walk in the park. Well done Sharry!

So great to see you bruteforcing through. just watched GCN, where the Manon girl showed up showcasing her fine equipment, moaning, quittting and telling it sucked. Weird how a couple of the GCN presenters think moaning and disatisfaction is the way to go.
