First, congratulations for qualifying. That takes a bit of pressure off subsequent races. Holy...Crap...that race looked crazy hard. Transition to the beach must have been littered with fallen riders.
The image of you with 15 K to go reminded me of old time photos of Welsh miners covered in coal. How did you manage to breathe with all that muck flying? I didn't see riders using neck gaiters...sort of surprising given the temperature and flying debris.
Thanks for sharing. I had a bit of a setback for my next event as my doctor strongly recommended I do the 100 km vs 100 mile distance as my first "real" event of the season.

Well Done, I think many looked at the route profile and said.. yeah I should be able to ace this and make the cut. But knowing Danish weather like myself, the wind is always part of any event, especially closer to water. I think alot of riders underestimated this event, I see the GCN girl didn’t even finish. One thing for sure, Danish are some of the best bike riders if this is what you deal with on a daily basis. Just look at the results, I’m pleased many got a new respect for the country and its riders. You footage was good enough to give us a sense of how mad they made this course, Sand is the stealthy ninja waiting to steal you off your bike! 🤭
