I'm a UCLA fan and I can tell you Arizona has nothing to feel ashamed about. Great team and a great season, the tournament is incredibly unpredictable. Who knows UCLA and Kentucky both are deserving of the elite 8 and 1 of us is going home Friday night. Congrats to Xavier fans on a great finish to the game and win but really anyone who loses at this stage should still be proud of their guys for a great season. Will be greatly disappointed if UCLA doesn't win it all obviously but at the end of the day only 1 team takes home the trophy. Doesn't mean Arizona didn't have a great season and isn't a great team because they are.
man humble well said
Good luck to UCLA!
...and you're right, they're all winners at this point, nothing to feel ashamed about losing. I feel sorry for Michigan, that was a great game yesterday, it was anybody's to win.
do as much as possible extended game highlights like that:-)
BEAUTIFUL IQ by #14 on Arizona. 1:25 He kept an eye on his man but knew his teammate was being backed down by a taller stronger Xavier player. Had his teammates' back and swatted the post shot away. Teaching this to my 7th graders!!!!
I could watch this one all day
Go Xavier!!!!
BugsBunny 313😂
Then they lost to gonzaga by 24 😂
@@ricksaveragelife7489 then we beat gonzaga in the championship😹😹😹
At 8:31 looked like Brian Anderson's voice box was gonna jump out of his mouth when calling the final moments of Xavier's upset win. lol. Gotta love Brian Anderson and his passionate voice he brings to college basketball. And C Webb as his partner is a pretty good combination as well. Great call at the end Brian!
Same with the Virginia vs Purdue game
Man I miss this team.
great video and great game
I am a Kansas Jayhawks fan their game Purdue Boilermakers yesterday was a crazy game but KU beat them 98-66. They play Oregon Ducks tomorrow. Rock Chalk Jayhawks. Good Luck tomorrow.
Good game
my boy Malcolm balling making the burg proud buddy
Boy this turned out to be a double whammy for Sean Miller - with both Mark Few and Dana Altman making their first Final Four this year that leaves him pretty much all by himself in the "winningest coach not to make the Final Four" conversation now.
Sean Miller always seems to have his name attached to irregularities lately. And always seems to escape unscratched. Looks like he have something on a lot of people. Maybe that's his punishment, not reaching the promised land of college hoops.
And, we have the ex law, as we call here in my homecountry. He was the HC of Xavier before his days in Arizona, right?
@@otaviofrn_adv Will Wade at LSU is another one - Wade even got suspended from the NCAA tournament in 2019 but kept his job - I'd never seen a coach keep his job after something like that. Yes, Miller was former HC of Xavier back in the 2000s.
@@walterlv01 so we have the ex law in action. Losing to your former team when you face them
This was really not that big an upset. Xavier was down their 2 best players, but they were ranked in the Top 10 before that happened. The other guys could obviously play.
lol at the white guy at 8:34
that's my musketeers
great game David whoops goliath s ads go Xavier
Is Xavier a cinderella or were they severely misseeded like Wisconsin, Wichita state and Michigan.
Or maybe Bill Murray is their good luck charm as well.
Their seeding is right. They lost a few games at the end of the season.
they underperformed a little in the season but the big east is no joke
@@professorm4171 Correct. The win over Butler in the Big East quarterfinals put them in as an 11 without a play in opponent. It also came down to matchups as well. Seeding can sometimes be deceiving given how it works in terms of pairing.
ilovemakonnen is going to warriors from arizona for sure
And people said Gonzaga was an underachiever in the tourney and had so many doubters? Arizona gets more high end talent coming out of HS than Gonzaga but yet hasnt made one Final Four in Sean Miller's 13 or whatever there.
Agreed and I think he just might be on the hot seat after tonight he usually manages the game alot better than he did tonight ......... BUT MAN on man give XAVIER a ton on credit watching this game even when they where down 7 you still had the sense that they where in it and was not gonna give up period and they got the stops when they needed
That's right Dre ... X fought to the finish.
Love it! So long UA and your classless fans!
Shut up
Arizona impresses Coach Steve Kerr with all those 3pointers and especially the CHOKE in the end just like Golden State
#ThreeOne
ik this don't mean nothin to you, but they also came back from a 3-1 lead. So we're even
+Hello Black People whiny pants
Rex Del Castillo why do nba fuckers have to end up here as well
That Xavier team was seeded so low. Should’ve been an 8th seed. Everyone forgot they were a top 10 team at some point but a tough big east play came
They did lose several straight at one stretch during conference play, but the win over Butler in the Big East tournament got them off the bubble as an 11 seed paired with Maryland.
Glad is an upset!!!!!!!!!
From these highlights it looks like a complete Arizona choke job.
these guys are messing up my bracket!!
They're messing everybody's bracket.
professorM not for me
Brutal way to lose a thousand bucks smh
Yeah, Gonzaga deserved zero credit for beating Arizona in a major recruiting area for the Wildcats program (Los Angeles) because they didn't have that punk Alonzo Trier who was nothing but a team disruption. He did nothing to help them against Buffalo the following year either. GU ended up annihilating this same Xavier team in the E-8. I got so sick and tired of hearing about the Trier excuse and that was why Zona deserved the #1 seed. GU was the #1 ranked team at kenpom.com - a top 20 team offensively, and the top ranked squad defensively. You can't fake the Pomeroy stats through strength of schedule. It's factored in. It's a performance metric. It's why they may have won the national title if Nigel Williams-Goss hadn't got hurt who was destroying UNC in the final minutes in the title game. Unlike Trier, Nigel was a major difference maker.
Gonzaga>Arizona
Should Arizona fire the head coach?
4 years later
Sean Miller seems to have dirt on everyone. Look How his name has been attached to irregularities without punishment. At this pace he'll come out of Arizona in a casket, even If he doesn't Win a national championship or reaches a final four
Zona choked hard bruh
Arizona chokes again just like every year
Brian Lee if they made the final 4 they would have played in phenix let that sink in
All but one school each year chokes! Hard to be that one!
@@cameronclark3927 It would be hard for them to beat Gonzaga. If they did, they would eventually face North Carolina in the championship game.
And North Carolina is a team that thrives against opposing crowds historically, in the tournament.
At least two of their championships were on the "home" of opposition (57 against Kansas of Wilt Chamberlain in KC and 2009 against Michigan State in Detroit). And you can make a case for the 2005 title too, against Illinois in St. Louis (Illinois has a ton of alumni in the area)
Arizona is a POO school
