awesome I love this program since the first time I watched them, those days they had with Adam Morrison and JP Batista that team got me to love basketball my favorite college team of all time
Are you from WA, or anywhere in the northwest?
Go Zags!!
Born and raised right here in Spokane baby! I love my Zags, and we're GOING TO PHOENIX BABY!!!
#UnitedWeZag!
Jordan Wolfson let’s get it I live in da spoke to!
I was born in Yakima, grew up in Moses Lake and was raised on Gonzaga basketball ;p
I will never forget this season, Ill remember exactly where I was when they made school history going all the way to the Championship Game for the first time ever.
I'm super happy with how good they are now in 2020, definitely an unexpected yet pleasant surprise, however next season they are gonna be the best they've ever been in my opinion. So excited.
March is right around the corner now and #zagnation is ready LETSSS GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Still amazing that Xavier made it to the elite 8
Yung Pac fr
fluke doe
Kinda not surprising tho. Xavier was in the AP Top 10 at some point in the season. Committee just ranked them so low as 11 that’s why they made noise in the West Bracket
I fell in love with the Zags in 1999 on the Casey Calvary tip in to beat Florida in the Elite Eight. I knew the day would come when my favourite team got to the Final Four. I feel so good for Coach Mark Few, everyone who says the Zags can't win in the NCAA tournament because they don't play a tough conference schedule can now stop talking. I think of all my favourite Zags over the years, and know they're so happy for their program right now #UnitedWeZag
Sweet 16
Ah you're right I meant to get to the Elite Eight
Coach Mack better have a card up his sleeve should we face the Bulldogs this November in MSG.
I gotta admit. When Xavier scored off that steal on the first possession, i thought the game was very bleak. I never dreamed we would win by 24 points. It was unbelievable.
When I saw that and thought the Zags would shrug it off and still win, instead of immediately thinking it'd be like the snap over Peyton Manning's head against the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, I knew the Zags were on a new level.
The Zags are beasts. I admit it even though I'm a huge Badgers fan. Williams Goss is just something else. He's up there with Frank Kaminsky and Bronson Koenig. (Not bias at all 😂)
I remember the full court shot LOLL
You need to practice those free throws. Easy baskets!
Let's go zags!!
At 5:02 - the Xavier player with the ball made a shot from three-quarter court but it came after the buzzer sounded and that seemed to take a lot of out their team - they came out flat in the second half and it just became a coronation for Gonzaga after a few minutes.
I can't believe Kansas lost
DAB DAB SHEEP lol #ducks but sorry for your team
八村ブサービーターカッコイイ
八村!
I know it didn't count but that 3pt shot at the end of the first for Xavier was incredible
Macura's got hands
whos watchin in 2020?
#ZAGNATIONMOTHAFUCKASSSSS
From the slipper still fits to the slipper DOES fit. Mark Few to the HOF
The Zags play up to 3 games in the Bay Area, and a 4th against Pacific in Stockton (78 miles away) in most years, in WCC conference play. SAP Center is less than 3 miles from Santa Clara Broncos' Leavey Center. St. Mary's McKeon Pavilion is 52 miles away. University of San Francisco's War Memorial Gym is 50 miles away
Not a xavier fan but i was rooting for them to beat teams like arizona and gonzaga. On my bracket I actually did have them beating maryland and florida state but then losing. good job!
Zones do not work against Gonzaga because they see them all the time in the WCC. They always make sure to recruit long range shooters. Their teams almost always shoot 37% or better from three, and even better if you zone.
xavier basketball still not a cinderella they had fail to make the final four 3 times
Go Xavier!!!
Hoping for a Gonzaga vs Oregon championship, not sure if that will happen though.
Perimeter defense? No?
didn't include the full court shot ??
my thoughts as well it was EPIC!
or that weird 'own goal' right before it. The two moments that were the most highlight worthy didn't make the cut!
LivinLovinLife it didn't count so why include it he didn't get it off in time
@@fedfreds832 he did get it off in time, should have counted. Put the video in .25 speed
Gonzaga vs Kentucky Final
KFCBULLS no U.K. Will lose to UNC
UNC will beat them, UK should have lost to Wichita lol
Aaaaaand Kentucky's gone..
Bulldogs-Heels Fixed it for ya ;)
oh Nigel, why did you have to leave???....GU could have won it all this year if they had a decent PG. Perkins is a SG.
right!
The X in Xavier stands for getting x-ed out of the bracket
L
Not as big as the L Xavier took against gonzaga
I’m coming back to this realizing how lucky Gonzaga was in this tourney run haha
They played (in order): a 16 seed, an 8 seed, an 11 seed, a seven seed, and then ultimately lost to a 1 seed
Not their fault all the “better” teams lost
After seeing Oregon beat Kansas, I can confidently say Oregon is going to beat gonzaga in the national championship
Cristóbal Patton I hope and believe you are wrong. Good luck to both teams and I hope neither teams have injuries. That said; GO ZAGS!!!!!
A assume you're from Washington, I think it would be great for two west coast teams to make it! I'm in Oregon so I'm a duck for life
Cristóbal Patton Ironically I also live here. Gresham in fact, but full disclosure I grew up in Spokane and am a John Stockton fan for life. Go ZAGS!!!!!! Will root for both teams to make the championship round. Good luck fellow Oregonian.
Peace. ✌
Go ducks
tele novela elif
Gonzaga had the easiest way to the national championship... only hard teams they played were WVU and North Carolina. When you play a 11th seed in the elite 8 and a 7th in the final four. If gonzaga was in unc shoes they would of lost to Kentucky in the elite 8.
B.S.. Jeremy. A cheap excuse from a BCS homer. The title game between GU and UNC was just as close as the regional final between UK and UNC. I have never understood why Kentucky fans hate Gonzaga so much. I can only attribute it to jealousy - that GU has been able to go to 5 straight sweet 16's or better and make 20+ consecutive NCAA tourneys despite not having all of the advantages of a blue blood like UK. They would've been a deserving #1 seed this year as well if not for COVID-19. And they have gone to sweet 16's as a double digit seed. Good fortune is needed to win a title or to have a shot at winning it all.. You could say this regarding countless national champions from power conferences. Every team needs a break or two to make the F4. Press Virginia is one of the hardest teams to prep for in the nation cuz so few teams play like like that with that level of overall team athleticism. Gonzaga was the #1 kenpom.com team in the country, which is a metric that factors in SoS. You cannot game it.They were the best defensive team in the nation in 2017. Their talent was comparable to Oregon and UNC. Two Burger Boys, numerous top 100 players, et cetera. Keep in mind that Northwestern was an emotional favorite because they had never made the dance before and the SLC crowd was on their side the whole game (the refs didn't cost them the game. Collins' blown goal tending call happened with 4 minutes left in the 2nd half. They deserved to lose because GU's defense stifled the Wildcats the final 4 minutes). South Dakota State was not a 16 seed. They should've been a 13 with a stud player like Daum. I mean, when one of your back end rotation players is Rui Hachimura (a future lottery selection), you know you have talent, and GU had a ton of it in 2017. They deserved their first final 4. And what I don't get is people like you who hate them when GU's athletics program, year after year, is in the top 2 in the NCAA's academic progress ratings. They represent everything that is right in college basketball.
I hate xaviar
number 24 on the white team.......how can he play at college level? he's like 35 years old!!!!!!!!!!!! :O :D
He's a 5 year senior and from Poland, Przemek Karnowski
so how old is he?
23 years old.
Zags killed it, but dont let that distract you from the fact that Trump failed again, this time with TRUMPCARE.
Stop trolling and just enjoy March madness!
James Peter it's gonna be hard to pass something when no democrats are willing to unify. Trump will let Obamacare implode and all the dems will be getting the blame, and then we'll come back to this comment and see who's laughing
James Peter how could they possible pass entitlement reform in Alabama and expect to stay red. that's a session for Walmart shoppers
Gonzaga had a easy path still overrated
Haha most trolls have learned to stop while they're behind. Keep digging a hole, that takes a special kind of idiot. Zag up!
salty
You must be joking!!! Go back under your bridge troll and find another site to take your nonsense to.
skimask it's not fault zona choked
It would have been the same result with overrated Arizona, the team that consistently chokes in the tournament every year since they hired Miller.
