The cops are even funnier because they KNOW Hancock is only in there for as long as he wants to be, and they can't do ANYTHING about it except shout at him in hopes he MIGHT listen.

So although it was a cool effect for the movie, the trainmen in the cab of that locomotive would have been red soup on the front of that cab coming to a stop like that. The rest of that crash was decently accurate though.
same for that kid Hancock threw up in the air. The accelleration and decelaration would've turned him into a red mess. They'd need a DNA test to indentify his remains.
It was a freight train though, no passenger cars

That moment when the kid comes down from the sky at 300mph completely unharmed, probably the fakest scene in the movie
Real talk, hancock matched his speed with the meter or so he had to reach him and slowed him down by microfractions, negating the effect.

@@daiguey2687 Hancock repeatedly smashing into the earth without his clothes ripping off proves he has impressive inertial dampeners. The kid doesn't die for the same reason he doesn't have to buy a new pair of shorts after every landing.
