I started using the sonic fusion 2 model. It really leaves your mouth feeling fresh. I turn the water pressure up to 8 and refill the tank for a 2nd flush/floss each time I use it. It takes a while to get use to the pressure, but I feel in the long run, I'm cleaning my teeth more thoroughly. Great video. Thank You!
Always thorough and comprehensive. Thanks John.
Thank you for such a great review!
Just got done watching your video and I've been interested in purchasing one of these new toothbrush and waterpik combos for my niece and nephew. I don't want them to go through what I have in my 45 years of life. I never had problems when I was younger until one day I was playing baseball and I was the picture and took a ball my mouth breaking and knocking out front teeth. Still have most of my teeth but will need implants one day. I just don't want to see my niece and nephew ever have problems with cavities or any gum disease. Thank you for the information I was looking for.
Great review, I have the Waterpik Sonic-Fusion 2.0 Flossing Toothbrush which I got thru Costco in mid 2023. It has the 30 second pacer now, which I like (just like my Phillips Sonic). While I do like it, I find I still need to use regular floss also. So, I now use the Flossing Toothbrush and regular floss at night, so I am doing more than I used to, so that helps. I still use my regular Sonic brush in the morning and regular floss and the sonic flosser at night. I am amazed how much stuff comes out of my teeth using the Waterpik flosser. Most of the comments you made are very true to what I have found, it can be a little messy.
Glad you like it and agree with my comments. At the end of the day if you like it and you are pleased with the results that is great. I am more about people knowing the pros and cons so they know what to expect. 👍
Loved your take on this set - I just bought one this past weekend and honestly have loved using it since! I like that I can brush my teeth with toothpaste first, then end my brushing routine with the waterpik flosser option to not only floss btwn teeth but also rinse away the paste. So far, I have not had any trouble angling the brush so I can floss under my gums without spraying my eye or up my nose. I floss with Cocofloss theoughout the day but this toothbrush has been fantastic for am/pm routines!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Glad you are pleased with it so far.
Great job, Thank you for this vid
Thank you for the review. I was thinking the same thing about having the flosser separate from the toothbrush.
Thank You, I got a Oral B for 4 u cause. I am liking te results comparing with a normal brush😁🦷
I have both products and do agree with your review. I am disappointed with the Waterpic brush bristles. The brush bristles seem to have a sharper edge to them than other brands and can be uncomfortable.
Jack, thanks for sharing your opinion. I am glad we agree, although I do wish you hadn't had to buy it to find out.
@@ElectricTeeth oh I agree! I received the Waterpik unit as a gift.
Really looking forward to your review on philips sonicare cordless power flosser 3000
We hope to get hands on with this in 2022. 👍
I think a water Floss os better than a normal Floss and for the environment. A normal Floss has a cost, transport and a plastic cost for make It. :D
I hope Someday the waterfloss would be as well as a normal Floss😁
Doctor, A pick Floss by Oral B/Gum could be as well a normal Floss without pick? :) Thanks for tHe video!
Thanks!
Thank you very much Roger.
Thank you, you just saved me some money.
You are welcome!
Thank you for your reviews.
Could I request that you review the ‘Ezzi’ sonic toothbrush.
This toothbrush has been credited as being even better than Oral IO and the Burst !
Hi. Thanks for the request. Others have asked for this.
Being upfront with you I can't say if and when we will cover it as yet.
I am not sure where you have seen such claims, but there is a dentist who is promoting the brush, whom has a vested interest in the product as he the owner of the company, if my research is correct.
@@ElectricTeeth
Thanks it was the ‘baseline dental’ channel where I got the claims from seemed legit though, as he tested it using the pink tablet.
Ahhh yes, that's the guy who owns the brush.
I am sure it is pretty good. The vast majority of brushes are more than satisfactory.
One of the biggest concerns with lesser known brands or smaller companies is their support, product quality etc.
Why can’t I get mine to turn on? It’s plugged in and I am clicking brush and floss but nothing happens. I returned my first one to the store thinking it was broken. Clearly it’s me, can someone help?
Hi Stephen. Assuming you have followed the direction in the manual etc it is probably worth speaking directly with Waterpik support so they can run through some steps.
Nice review though for the average retail price of the unit, you could buy slightly over 6000 lineal feet (1800 meters) of ribbon floss...;) subscribed.
That's a lot of floss!
"at least once a day"
Oh thank god
Any tips for removing brush heads that are difficult to remove?
Try running the head under warm water for a couple of minutes. This can help loosen them.
@@ElectricTeeth I soaked the full length of the brush head in water that was brought to a boil, and that worked. I had previously tried hot tap water without any luck.
Fantastic. Glad you have sorted it.
@@ElectricTeeth Not so fast. And then the entire Waterpik unit (Complete Care 5.0, WP-861) stopped working altogether. Now I've got the unit opened up on the kitchen table to see if the thermal fuse needs to be replaced. I don't think I will buy the Waterpik brand ever again. Waterpulse and ProOral seem to be very similar at half the price.
John, can you use salt water in a waterpik?
No. Fresh tap water.
i dont think any flosser will rmove plaque if used for 1 minute. I use my flosser for about 3 to 5 mins to get good results.
It probably isn't necessary to use this long. Unlikely doing harm, but probably not getting much benefit.
Not aware of studies that have looked at flossing time specifically, but we brush teeth for 2 minutes because more than this you get limited extra benefit. Same principle applied really to flossing.
I have a son with special needs who can’t brush. When I use a water pin it drenches him as he can’t lean forward while I’m brushing. I have to brush his teeth while he stands in shower. The chord doesn’t reach. I have to use an extension chord. Please invent one that can stay charged and filled with water so I don’t have to drag chords and container to the shower. My husband has to hold the container of water while I use the brush. My son stands there naked and shivering. Clean up is a horrible mess. Water everywhere and on all of us.
I haven't tried it yet but this could be an options for you - hims-inc.com/product/electric-suction-toothbrush/
@@ElectricTeeth thank you for this
Please people dont buy this junk, I bought one broke with 6 months, bought another one this time I only use destiled water, broke again 3 year warranty, for a piece of shiat that is build to break with few months tops.
Sorry to read this. Did you contact Waterpik to get a warranty replacement?
Dont waste your money as these combos are a rip off, they purposely don't tell you if you leave the brush on the base it will overcharge and ruin the battery as I found out with mine.👎💰
Oh no. Was is within the warranty period? It shouldn't overcharge. As far as I am aware, there is tech to prevent this.
True mines mess up today buddy
