I have a laifen and oral B. I like the laifen. Itâs quieter and smaller. It does take some getting used too
After watching your thorough comparison, it seems like this model is pretty much over-hyped. As you underlined, it lacks a lot of essential features, such as a timer and pacer without using the app, sessions recording, real-time tracking, a pressure sensor, a travel case ... However, the very big advantage is its price.đž I think I will keep my iO Series 9 for the moment đŠ·đ
Top tier information delivery đđđ thank you
Love your channel.thats only channel in world that gives amazing honest review for toothbrush. Thank you for fantastic information that you share. âïžâïžâïžđđđ
Glad you like them!
We bought two of these and they both quit working in 2 months time. We also purchased the insurance protection plan for both and it proved to be useless too. They declined our claim saying my wording did not fit their coverage⊠When I looked into their âwordingâ it said it would honor claim if it was mechanical failure⊠Well, thatâs exactly what happened. They would not charge or turn on for that matter.. And no I didnât drop them or completely submerge them under water⊠We were extremely disappointed and had to go back to our Phillips Sonic Care. We basically flushed $150.00 down the toilet⊠Donât waste your time or $âŠ
I am so sorry to read this. That is terrible.
Have you contacted your card company to see if they can support you? Sometimes if you paid on credit card they have powers to pay back your money for faulty products.
If you bought it using a credit card, you can file a claim to get tour money back.
They do have new brush heads with silicon backing to ease contact with other teeth. Sadly, all sold out. I am a sonicare fan myself. However, at the price of only the useless 2000 series and much much cheaper oem replacement heads, i had high hopes for the Laifens. Guess will have to wait till next iteration next year.đ
Where have you seen these silicon backed heads for Laifen? They are not on their website that can see.
â@@ElectricTeeth my apologies, it turns out there is new soft back TPU brush heads. Apparently, it's been out in HK for almost a year now. The vibrating back was a common issue and other reviews say the new brushes are better now.
Should the head thing be switched for the second brushing?
If you want to use a different style of brush head for morning and evening brushing sessions you can. It isn't required though.
Do your uk videos still apply for the us products?
Yes. My feelings about this product apply whether bought in the UK or the US.
So it can't be charged with a standard USB-C cable, making it not suitable for travel. So why bother with a travel mode?
The travel mode locks the button to prevent accidental activation when in a bag for example. I think that is useful irrespective of the charging connector.
My Laifen came with a usbc cable!
Did you ever said on the philips sonicare review that their pressure indicator is invisible while brushing that teeth and thus useless ?
Although the pressure sensor isnât visible, the vibrations it uses when you use too much pressure are very distinctive and you will definitely know to put less pressure
@@dukechewsgum6424 they could easily solve it by placing the LED on the other side of the brush. If you base only on the vibration it will take time to learn and will be already damage on teeth from the pressure. Also how to tell apart the pressure sensor vibration from the quadpacer one ?
@@mourgos1234 No like itâs actually very obvious. When you press hard, the brush kind of does these 3 consecutive movements and plus it sounds different too
Dear electric teeth đ I am a dentist and I love your vudeoes!
I want to buy a new electric toothbrush, however I am boycotting brands with israeli ties. I love small brushing heads. What would you choose if Oral B and phillips were out of the question? I am hoping for your help đ
Greetings, denmark
Well there are a number of alternative choices, but I can't comment on local availability and ties with Israel.
SURI is a great option: czcams.com/video/rxbQ8z5E77k/video.html
You could consider Burst and Ordo too. Laifen is a contender.
@@ElectricTeeth thank you for taking the time to reply âš
My biggest concern is that the brush heads have no soft silicon coating.
Wait Oral-B and Philips has connections with Israel? That's great, now i'll get one of those for sure!
