So, the Ballon d'Or winner...where is he? I have almost forgotten his name, and long forgotten what he did to win the Ballon d'Or. Anyway, he's out of the UCL, having done absolutely nothing of note in the competition. The Ballon d'Or runner-up is also out, despite playing well. The guy who came 3rd is playing OK, but he went out of the UCL in the 2nd round itself. Same as the guy who came 4th, who also went out in the 2nd round of the UCL.

United don't need to spend Millions in one go. This is a five year job for them now. It's a waste of time blowing your budget on players like Sanchez and Lukaku. They need to buy 2 or 3 young hopefuls each season for the next 3 years and build. This isn't a top up job for United, it's a complete rebuild over many years.
Lukaku is still very young, and is very worth is compared to Alvaro Morata’s signing of the same range of price. Alexis was bought for a bargain price, obviously United made up for it in the high salary. Both were not terrible signings, at least above average.

It takes a toll on your team's physical health until at one point you are forced to bring in Academy youths who have homework due the next day to UCL 2nd rnd, 2nd Leg away, 2 down at home hole to climb out of. And you win only to run into Baca at the end of that video game like obstacle level. Not too many lifelines and power ups left.
4. Man U is not known for over spending. The special one ruined it for all future coaches. You can't get everyone on a budget but you can't spend all the money in world either. Man C in the same boat as us for this UCL?
5. This team as is can do it. Move pieces around and stay healthy. Get a right back, full back and figure out a midfield trident like the one of Herrera Matic and Pogba regardless of what set of XI is on the field. And set Pogba lose!

How many crucial mistakes did you see Manuel Neuer make in his prime a few years ago? Not much. Yet people still refer him as the best goalkeeper in the world, even in FIFA 19!! Jan Oblak and Marc Andre Ter Stegen are far more better than him in all aspects on the pitch, yet they’re both lower rated than David De Gea in FIFA 19 with De Gea rated 91, Oblak rated 90, and Ter Stegen rated 89!!! Most overrated goalkeeper IN THE WORLD in my opinion.

You dont see Neuer, Ter Stegen, Oblak or even Alisson concede from that range. Fact. Add his mistake against Xhaka and vs Portugal at the world cup, and you will maybe accept that he just isnt world class right now.
