- Plot: A girl is haunted by the Slenderman ever since she was little. She is scared of the Slender Man and tries to persuade her mind that Slenderman is not real and it is all part of her imagination, till one night it becomes all too real.

Well, there goes my sleep tonight. This was spectacular! The scary moans, the lighting, and so much tension. Your sound effects have gotten even better! Going under the covers is actually scarier for me than facing it head-on. I feel if I lower the sheets, it will be in my face. The poor woman has been terrorized for a long time. I love how she triple-checked her door locks. So many short horror films just show the person walking in, even while they're being stalked, and they don't lock anything. It's irritating. Slenderman wanted acknowledgment of his existence. I absolutely love the ending! I won't spoil it.
Wow this was such a beautiful read, I ended up reading this twice. So glad you loved the ending, that was my favorite part of the film as well 🙂

Wow, this is quite good. Slenderman looks perfect, and the scene where he devilishly swings his legs as she weeps in fear....chilling!
I love how she finally decides she has nothing to lose.....yet everything to gain! YEAH!! Great ending, I loved it.

Absolutely one of the best horror shorts I‘ve seen so far! The ending is great, I love the power the woman gets when facing her childhood fear!

The bed scene when she drops to see what is under was extremely unsettling and I could feel the screws turning on the neck. ending was pure goosebumps, yet another great short horror from you

This is a great looking film! You have a very good eye for cinematography. I love the red and blue lighting in the bedroom as well, gave it a very creepy atmosphere. The shot of Slenderman looming over the bed at the end was very was one of my favorite shots.

Oh & I wanted to add: I'm pleased that you didn't 'go for the cliche' & have Slenderman standing there every time she 'rose from under the bed'. The fact that you didn't really use that oft-used cliche....is refreshing. Made it a bit scarier too, as even 'he isn't following the rules'. 😊
Dis is cool. Interesting mechanick of dis HEEEEE HEEEEE sound when Slender danger close to girl. Its like white noice which sounds in games when he attacks. And i like his hunt style. No screams, no scary faces, no strange moves. He just stands and look at you. And every time he teleports more and more close and than attack. I think ist pretty noble style.

Yes she did eventually overcome her fear. By convincing her mind that Slenderman is not real she was actually making him more and more powerful because her denial was coming from a place of fear and weakness. In the last moment she accepts that he is real which was like coming to terms with her worst fears and that made Slenderman eventually loose his power over her and he disappears. Thanks a lot for watching and letting me know how you felt towards the film and the story. Much appreciated 🙂
I agree.. As I am rewatching it so late at night, even after knowing it was a psychological horror I am very scared of the slender man concept and actually had to look at my door knob a few times, guess I might inherit this mental horror from her 😂

First of all, GREAT job, this film is classy, and the camera work is excellent. It is extremely unsettling to have the blanket removed slowly as the girl takes the blanket off. I loved the theme and the color scheme.
The only gripe I have is that this is a very “loud” short. There are a lot of external, unnatural samples that for me, detract a little from the other aspects of the film.
As a challenge, try to make a horror short with zero external sounds, just the ambient sounds you’d expect such as footsteps, breathing, wind, etc. Delicately mix these noises, so they are almost not even noticeable. Try to create tension in the silence.
But that’s just if you want to make something that’ll really terrify me! I’m scared of silence! Completely personal preference, and don’t take my comments too seriously, just wanted to give you some good feedback on a great project :)

Yes that was a very difficult scene for Slendy when he broke his neck, but he did get up again though, I guess that comes with the territory 😄😁

Hello, thanks for watching. All her life she has been convincing herself out of fear that Slenderman is not real and is just a figment of her imagination which in turn makes the entity (Slendy) more and more powerful with each passing day and when she eventually says he is real and even then I am not scared of him, he looses his power over her and disappears. Whether he was actually real or not is not something I wished to explore in this film. Hope that makes sense :)
