This sorta reminds me of a "The great dust bowl" meets "a plague".... The acting was fantastic 👌 very interesting short!
Now that's how you use light to make a dark scene. I could make out everything. Good show!!!
I absolutely adore this one! I don't even know what about it works so well for me, but I think it's the two performances that truly take everything on another level
Beautiful use of black and white! There's nothing more dramatic and intense than well-done black and white film. Very well done and compelling story. Thank you for the gift of your art.
The black and white atmosphere and its 4:3 square aspect ratio reminds me so much of Robert Egger's movie The Lighthouse with Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe.
I thought exactly the same.
@daltonbarnes3235 IFKR!
I really liked that. It’s too bad that they were both going to die, but at least they died laughing.
It is the Edgar Alan Poe style. Best horror ever!
Wow that was so literary and satisfying! Well done!
This is perfect for a Friday night. 🌙
IFKR!!!!
Hey all *ALTER* fans 🙋♀️❤️
Hi 🖤
Here
Hello 👋😊
Hey hey again from Texas 😈👋
@@Dr_1212 🙋♀️ 😂
I love the cookie jar one it's so cool that short film is so cool personally
Whenever I see a story about winds, I think of Ray Bradbury's "The Wind."
Very wry humor and great actors equal a great atmospheric story.
AMEN
I remember this one this is a masterpiece
I agree! I missed out the first time, and I'm really glad I got to see it :)
Excellent b&w cinematography!
I love this kind of horror ❤
This was different but I really liked it. Wish there was a full length movie on this.
The actors! Phenomenal!
This was great, guys! Thanks for my nightly fix before bed. 😂❤
Funny how all that plagued force majeure and violence from outside also existed inside.
There's no shelter for us Humans. Constant Anxiety is part of the Human Condition.
Accept it and surrender. We have to live with it and that's proof of a imperfect dangerous Universe,
clearly not designed perfect by gods. We are born defeated but we can be as strong as we want and keep fighting.
Awesome
We ready
Great superb excellent outta this world! Amazing!
Good afternoon Alter Family 😅😅😅😅😅😅 much love from Mass, USA
GREAT finale.
The lighthouse vibes, only two characters
Wait, the main guy's name is Arnold Cunningham? As in Christine's Arnie Cunningham? Oh, even if that's just a coincidence, I love a Stephen King reference.
Love your short films
Please Please tell me this will be made into a feature length film. One of the best shorts I've seen in a long time. Very good, pacing, plot, characters, all well done in such a short time. The style in which it was filmed also suited the plot. Well done! 🫶💟💞
This is a good one
Alter stopped all my suicidal attempts
Hey, I'm glad you're here, man. You deserve to live and be happy ❤
Κάτι μου θυμίζει αυτό το συγκεκριμένο βίντεο λες και το έχω ξανά Μάτα δει. Deja vu δηλαδή!
Alter did post this one before
so fantastic!
This is a good one, i must have missed it the first time. 👍
AWESOME! 😮👏👏
Is this inspired by “When the Wind Blows”?
Great camera work
We’re so back
Now THAT was a superb ending😅
I liked it!
I've seen this one before.
Fear & suspicion trumps normalcy.
A 'Storm' like no other.

Osm❤

The happening
This short is repeated, I've already watched it on CZcams
That's what flashback in the title means

Ole Aleister would be proud.!!!
What was so funny in the end? Why were they laughing?
I think that it was the irony that they'd both fatally shot each other right before the wind came for them anyway. Coupled with the fact that they were both drunk on hard liquor, it must've seemed funny to them
@@blackavar5723 I don’t think it was a normal human reaction. The urge to laugh would have been the last thing I would have felt. Most likely in that situation I would have been thinking my life over or praying
@@rivciks5045 Yeah, it definitely wasn't a normal response - I truly think it was in large part due to drunkeness and blood loss, combined. I have unfortunately been drunk and losing blood at the same time before, and your thoughts just don't connect or make sense in that state. So while I can see why they might react that way in their physical state, I completely agree with you - I, too, would be praying for my life, (and probably trying to drag myself to some sort of hiding place in my last moments of consciousness!)
They couldn't afford color for this film. 😆
Did you hear the old time radio guy? And the old time music? Hence the old time Black & White
I'm reading the comments and after watching it - wtf am I missing? This was.... 15 mins and 41 secs of my life I can't get back. This kinda work just pisses me off. Like, I'm expecting something, but receive nothing. I don't get why people loved this one? 🤷♀
Maybe you should learn what irony means.
@@helmutstransky3761 maybe you should understand it wasn't a good film.
@@Polietlyfoff people who can't think have no business preaching to people who can
Good, but lackluster ending.
I hated this
