This just got me 😂😂😂
Also: I didn’t know Sherlock doing parkour was a common thing. Hilarious.
5:43 he’s so proud… baby boy… baby…
It's actually A study in scarlet's first published date/my birthday today so this is a wonderful birthday present! Thank you :) Granada Holmes is my favorite Holmes adaptation
3:08 why did the eyes make me laugh so hard-
omg this was the cutest thing ever
I read the adventure of charles augustus milverton and just fell in love with the pair even more than I was before
and then this popped up in my recommended!
I'll be sad when I finish the books but maybe I'll watch this adaptation which seems more faithful than the BBC one eventually
This version is MUCH more faithful, in that they nearly lift dialogue from the book consistently. Jeremy Brett would keep a copy of ACD’s work on set to check that it wasn’t going too far off track,
I didn't know this version existing and I'm geeking out so hard because they ARE the characters, I SWEAR.
Okay I need you to be like, a special feature in the DVD set so that I can rewatch the whole series with your EXCELLENT edits and captions
Just gonna casually mention that I blame you for getting me back into Sherlock Holmes, and that’s coming from someone whose friend has been obsessed with BBC Sherlock for the past few months and who has finished playing a video game which takes heavy influence from the books. This video was the last straw djskdjdk
Loving Granada Holmes so far. No regrets :)
@UCN8I2PhxzQoCyl5aofYqXWw My mother let me borrow the DVD box set. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful! that being said, I’m pretty sure Amazon Prime Video will have them if you’re willing to pay, or you could probably find them online somewhere if you’re willing to put on the eyepatch 🏴☠️
This is the content i exist for
Watson: Sherlock Holmes Is Cheerful, SooooOOOO Sherlock Holmes Must Have A Case!!! Sherlock: P A H!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have no idea how much joy this fills me with to see someone turn this underrated masterpiece into a much needed crack video, this is absolutely fantastic!!
Ikr one of my favorite shows ever
I'm so pleased you made this compilation and introduced so many new people to Jeremy Brett. He will always be the quintessential Holmes for me.
Gosh, so many lovely Brett laughs and smiles! Granada Holmes and Watson rarely get kudos or mentioned, but I’d say these two are tied with the BBC version for absolute best adaptations! Thank you for making this wonderful video, it was beautiful and very funny!
''It's the baboon'', fucking gets me in giggles every time.
I love the Silver Blaze dampening of the bell to avoid sensory overload, very symptomatic.
I can't believe that this kind of video exists for that great old show that I thought nobody else watched. Makes me wanna rewatch it all over again
I swear to god they are married and no one can tell me otherwise.
I will
@@nadiahapsari3359 don't you dare
@@st4rbunniee Ohoho....
Sherlock and John’s laugh always makes me a laugh here! It’s addictive and adorable! ❤
Jeremy Brett is the best Sherlock Holmes and you can't change my mind
Please they're so in love, just, the way they look at each other
It's the giggling when they look at each other that gets me lol
NGL, fell in love with the video right off the bat with "STIMMING"
I don't know why I got this recommended to me when I haven't consumed any Sherlock Holmes content in ages, but it really came through for me, this is a masterpiece of a video
I’m surprised to see that Brett‘s and Cumberbatch‘s portrayal of Sherlock is actually quite similar 🙏🏻😳
and it has kind of a similar humor as well I really like it 😂😂😂
I literally laughed my ass off the entire 11 minutes of this video, your editing plus their shenanigans made this video perfect
The internet needs more of this sort of thing.
And props to Grenada for making such an excellent series in the first place. Like many fans, I have seen many a Holmes adaptation. Jeremy Brett's superb incarnation remains unsurpassed and the Brett/Burke pairing of Holmes and Watson was an outstanding bit of casting.

That look of Sherlock and Watson combined with the *MATERIAL GALLSSSSS* gets me every damn timmmeeeee xdd
How much was 300 back then for them to be so surprised? Well I guess that they usually get paid if Holmes even asks for that but idk what they usually get then.
this is very late, but I believe £300 would be equivalent to about £30,000 today
NICE! I like to think that's what all their random holidays to the coast were bought with
@@Holmesbee2I love how they just randomly leave London and go on these expensive looking trips
According to a calculator I looked at £46,210.97 in 2024. Jesus! Just imagine in those years!
10:56, "violin land" is a direct quote from the novels lmao
And that is why Jeremy Brett is the GOAT!
