Man I was concerned for you driving your truck in there to rescue the Busa - until you said it's a Toyota Tundra. There was no doubt you'd make it! 😅 Awesome vid.
@@MattSpears I used to have a Hilux (Don't get Tundras in the UK) I would relish taking it places it had no business going - though admittedly, rural Berkshire is not quite as exposed and dramatically hazardous a terrain as you're frequenting... 😅
This takes me back many years i knew a guy that made a enduro bike out of a Harley sportser and another guy who built a hill climber out of a cb750 Honda those were the days! This deserves a sub just for the humor!
Insane video man! Glad you guys got out safely, and in one piece! As a South African, I laughed at how Kevin explained the whole story about the Kalahari & the Bushmen... Blessings from Cape Town!
Another incredible video. Your making super unique content, i highly doubt anyone on earth has ever done anything like this on a Busa! Keep up the good work, your doing great!
Hey Matt, I loved this video man! Being a South African, I loved Kev's story about his South African adventure! It's 100% true. Hyena's will constantly circle your camp and look for any opportunity to sneak closer in order to steal some food - they are the ultimate opportunists! Thanks again for another awesome video! Your ever smiling and happy disposition is captivating and contagious! You are one in a million - stay safe!! 🙏👍😉
Such a great channel, Matt ! I enjoy your spirit and as a 55 year old dude, keep doing what you're doing because you're only 25 once and it's the BEST years to do adventures. I would do ANYTHING to have the physical ability to do Utah with you and Kevin. My knees are shot, I'm a shell of the athlete I used to be, so ENJOY life while you're able and with today's technology you're also recording your life story for your grandkids someday to see who you were. Sorry if I'm getting in too deep....
WOW that was an impressive journey, Hello from San Jose, CA (Bay Area) I have an 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa 1300R, just got it, back in Oct with 18K original miles on it. And just 2 days ago, I just got the vales done, safety inspection, whole tune up and after I had done a one nighter tent at Yosemite. I couldn't be happier I have this bike. I can go on the twisties here in the Bay Area and there is a lot of them and then there's many places in either direction to go moto Camping as well with in a couple hrs. But, watching you doing this is very inspiring. Great video!!! Keep up the great work.
Lol was funny as that 1st dirt bike guy you passed took a quick look and then nearly twisted his neck off taking a second look at wot you were riding as you went passed him...hahah
Hey Matt, these videos are great and funny....I admire your positive attitude and persistence to get the job done and not complain about mishaps and misfortunes (admirable qualities in a person). You mentioned that you did a significant portion of the Idaho BDR on your GW...could you publish some snippets from that?...that would be a fantastic episode.
I've been on some of those same trails on my fat bike a few years ago, next time I'll have to try them with a motor. I have the older Mosko bags. I haven't used them yet but I've loved the other stuff I've gotten from them. Thanks for sharing another epic adventure
👍👍 to you! Love UT! Im a 50 something on 2 wheels most of my life and daily rider since late 80s... Own a bunch of bikes from HDs to ZH2s and everything in between... As an owner of a BKing I can say that I will absolutely keep my KTM 300 ripping in the dirt and not the BKing. Loved watching, great job guys!
Well, I guess I shoulda known you crazy effers were from Montana. Howdy from Miles City! I still can't believe how tough that Busa is. I'm very impressed with what you are doing here. Keep it up, 22k subs is getting there. Cleetus better watch out for you Sir. Best wishes to you. Stay safe, stay healthy. Make a ton of cash.
Back in the days when youtube wasn't a thing we would've never heard about this beast and totally freak out when we would see anything like it. Thank you 21 century.
For sure, I definitely enjoyed watching the team effort on the busa. What I meant was your not dropping it off at somebody's shop and just paying for it to be done start to finish. Definitely what some other channels do
Great video!! I am sure I am one of many who said it, but I commented you should take the Goldwing on a BDR when you asked what do with it next!! Haha would love to see that video. I love the IDBDR!! Did first few sections of it back in October. Love the vids!
Idaho BDR is amazing. The BDR vid was originally filmed to be the first video posted on this channel but then I decided against it. I think it is time to start the editing process
Awesome adventure and channel. Im binging your vids now. Maybe there is hope for my wifecand i taking our mt07s off-road after all 🤪 Gday from Australia!
not gonna lie i loved seeing the rescue operation with pearl, for an old truck it surely does show its worth (also nice 4runner wheels, tasteful for that year model imo)
WOW! Matt that was certainly an adventure buddy! The footage of Pearl going over that ridge spine made me nervous! You should send that recovery footage to Toyota LOL! They should send you a new truck.
I'm at 8 minutes and here I am just smiling and so enjoying the video and your sense of comedy is so cool regarding the microphone. And you look like you came out the same way as my godfathers on, he looks JUST like you and he also are quirky and so genuine awesome person I'm truly blessed having the honor. Hes 24 now, and he likes mechanics also so he does a lot of old cars and old muscle import USA cars here in Norway. I'm now more a bike guy and I have a KTM 640, a Husqvarna te610, Honda xl600r,a Honda Varadero 1000 and least (not really) a Honda CBR 1000f I bought for about 1100 USD. And looking at your busa, I'm thinking that the now worth 3000usd CBR would be a great toy for me if I do something like this. Or I sell it, save my life and instead get a Husqvarna 701 or a KTM 690. I also have a Husqvarna cr250 from 1978. It's younger than me by 3 years. ;) People think I'm a mix of stupid crazy but they always wanna see what I roll out of my garage Wich I prefer straight pipes. I tell you doing 260kmp in a tunnel while blasting past a Porsche doing 200 with straight pipes will sure brighten your day after you have parked it and hidden it just in case someone called the law. These engine sings and the torque is way way awesome. You keep on uploading and bless our days with your smiles and generosity 9f showing us the inside of what you do. I will now continue the video. Much love from Norway, toby
Great video man! Off road Tacomas... have been many places brother, the truck would surprise you! Don't let the acronym Taking Out Your Old Troubles Again fool you...Toyotas rock" like goldwings! Lol!
Good choice for adventure bike. There’s not a shortage of salvaged Busas around. Parts are scattered everywhere!
Bought the replacement wheel for $50!
😂😂😂 i see what u did their
He should try to lower the weight in some way, if is possible.
Yeah I took saw what you done there lmfao
Good one!
I'm laughing so much looking at these enduro travellers 😂😂😂 everything is perfect here. Thanks men!

Never doubt a Toyota off road! Mileage is a nonfactor with the 4.7 V8 (million mile engine)
Great video!

Yes it was! Pearl is the MVP
What an amazing adventure!

Spare tube is good, along with air pump and spoons, even when you tun tubeless. Or could stuff the tire with clothes and limp out.
