Congratulations Nick and Zoe such beautiful baby’s ❤❤❤❤❤
Sometimes the teats are blocked and the babies will look like they are nursing but aren't getting anything. You might need to see if Janes teats have the coating off them once she has given birth. Maybe you can borrow Catherines milking machine and use the milk to bottle feed.
God is good you have 4 beautiful babies.
What precious babies ❤ I hope your surprise works great for you ❤
Congratulations Nick and Zoe Eh, my Heart is with you with the New Life Setbacks and the Opportunity to Facilitate others into their new best lives. Warmest Thoughts and Blessings to the Wonderful Babies and their Mothers. That new incubator looks like a Wonderful Addition to the your Future Barnyard Life. 😀👍👍👍
Thank you!!! Harsh realities of farming but we’re also very blessed!
Great surprise for Zoe! The new incubator no doubt will be well used! Sorry about your loss of the baby girl goat. Praying the new baby goats thrive. 🙏❤😊
Hey, Zoe and Nick! IMO, taking the babies home is your best option. If you can’t tell what’s going on with mom’s udder, it’s best to do what y’all know is good for those precious little babies.
Love the “2 story” incubator! When I was incubating chickens, all I could afford was a small round one. I think it held 4 eggs. It’s been 40 years or more, since then, but I’m sure that’s how I started my flock.
Prayers for y’all, on your loss.
💔🙏♥️
No I couldn’t be a framer, I cry to easy. I love animals and I am so sorry you lost a baby, I pray you don’t lose anymore. Sorry all I can do is pray every thing goes good.
We always appreciate prayers!!! Thank you, sometimes it’s tough!
Those babies are adorable! Do what you need to for the survival of the babies. 💖💖💖
❤❤❤❤❤😊 So precious.
Love the new incubator. You are going to have chicks everywhere soon. Zoe will be on a mission to see if she can fill it. 🤣🤣
Y'all are doing an amazing job with the babies!!! ❤
oh so sorry about the little girl from dolly.
It’s so cute how they call out, Momma.🎉🎉❤😂
Cute babies! Congratulations! Continued prayers ❤ love you all so much! God bless ❤
Thank you so much!
I’m sorry about the loss of your babies but the new ones are so precious. I’m like Nick. The little one is gorgeous!
OMGG, the one girl of Janes is so flashy!💕 I would pull them so that they have a chance to survive. Could the heat be why the little one passed away? I think you guys made the right choice and pulled them off their mamas. All for babies are so cute!💕💕 TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
We don’t THINK it was heat, but anything is possible.
Nick... now this is either a true story or a Mandela Effect rabbit hole... but the Gremlin you spoke about, his name was Stripe. 😅 Spike IS an equally epic name though! 😄
Poor Jersey, they are beautiful babies. Her hearts into it, but her body?... the question I have is can her udder recover from this? Or does this mean breeding retirement?
Everyone is going to have such fun feeding the little kids, and I look forward to seeing the kids tails wiggle in contentment 🥰
Rest in peace little one 🕊
God bless 🕊
I talked about both of those things during the Live Wednesday! It must’ve been your comment I saw. YES!!! I’ve had that wrong all these years! When I tried to find a Gremlins clip, that’s when I found out his name was Stripe! 😂. We went with Gizmo anyway. Lol
There’s a good chance we won’t breed Jersey again… we’ll have to discuss with our vet.
-Baby goats are so adorable.
Since you are not at farm, I would take them home with you. So adorable
love the new babies and the incubator is realy neat
Milk out the producing so it’s easier for them to nurse off of. That should help and then you have that milk to feed them.
When the temperatures is up the goats will not make enough milk to feed the babies. When you consider that yes your doing the right thing, when your there at the farm let mama have them .😊
Yeah, the come to the farm every day to bind with mom. 😊
My poor Jersey 🙏🏻 for her and her babies 🙏🏻🫏🚜🐈⬛🐎🐝❤️
I know…. And she’s being such a good mama
They are all just gorgeous!!! I prayed that they would be able to nurse on the moms
HEY y'all ❤ The babies are so precious ❤ Zoe that was a awesome surprise ❤ now you can hatch all the eggs you like ❤ I think bottle feeding is the way to go ❤ love y'all and God bless you and your family and all the animals and feather's 💕 praying for all the babies ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗
4 bottle babies for sure. 👍. 😃❤❤
Oh yes!
So sad about the loss, but keeping prayers the new kids will be fine. You all have so much passion and love
Thank you!
Hi nike and Zoe have a nice day
Thank you! You too!
You are welcome, nike and Zoe
Got a bunch there!!!! hope everything works out ❤
I wonder if you milked jersey regularly, that would help... sure don't want her to develop mastitis...❤if you milk her you can freeze it for up to 6 months...❤
You have to do what you have to do to save the babies lives.
Sometimes the mama holds back the milk until they have a specific cue.
Fit Farmer had to run a grass mower &/or use a milking station to milk out the over full side & bottle feed the mama’s milk.
I think Weed ‘em & Reap had some solutions too.
They’re in AZ.❤
4 bottle babies ..
6 weeks of fun coming up!
Oh goodness, I know!
❤ Brooke had the same problem but the babies were left with the mom but she bottle fed them several times a day.
I’m so excited, they are precious.
Nick and Zoe my heart breaks for you guys for losing the babies. My answer is you need to do you. I would be taking them home. God bless you guys.
I hope the new incubator works great! Awe, how cute! Enjoyed the video.
I hope so too!
Beautiful kids❤🎉❤🎉
On something like that with how hot it is, I would applaud you intervening..
Momma looks like she needs your help getting with the program.
Hope it gets better.❤😮😢🎉😊
I am very hands on with my goats. Sometime you need to halter nannies n help the babies. Also sometimes you take kids away over night nannies wont take them back.
Yes, we had one of each. Jersey wants to keep them but Jane doesn’t.
Glad you are bottle feeding them
Like the incubator. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos.
Thanks 👍
In my opinion, you need to make sure the baby goats are feeding at all costs, or they will starve to death, just as before ! PLEASE don't let that happen again! Thank You Nick for trying your best to feed these babies !!! Love Ya'LL Lots ! Tim
They’re all thriving, but still not sure what happened to the other little girl. We checked and Dolly was definitely producing milk…. We may never know.
Take the babies home and bottle feed them. I agree with you Nick. I wouldn’t want to take a chance on them not making it. They are so stinkin cute!
That's the plan!
You have to do what you have to save the babies it is the farmers responsibility to take care of your animals. ❤❤
Always!!!
One of Brooke and Jason’s goats has the same issue. I would say they can’t get their little mouths on that large teat. On the baby that died it could have been an internal issue.
True!
Maybe you need to seclude Jane with her babies. It looks like she was trying to run the other goats to go away.
I just love that moon spot doe.
She’s a favorite! 😍
New subscriber. 🎉🎉🎉
Welcome!! We’re so happy to have you join us! I’m sorry it took a few days to catch up on comments
Wonder if yal can do anything to help ease the pain in the bigger utter where she will let them nurse? Hopefully both mama's will feed them and they will thrive
This happened to Cog Hill Farm. Might want to reach out to Brooke
Nice looking babies
Yes they are
Hi Nick & Zoe
👋
I would be bottle feeding them to. You can’t take a chance. I’m sorry you guys have had such a rough time lately. But I know that you’re doing everything you can for your animals.
I think most do, but just have these times that are tough for a while. Thank you! 😊
It’s just too risky, as hot as it is! They need regular feeding so they can stay well hydrated. You are making the right decision.
I think so too!
There ain't nothin' like eating cantaloupe while watching a mama goat eat the after birth ! 🤣
😂🤣😂🤣
I had to come back and find this…. 😂
Tough part of farming. You may want a vet to check udders but yes I would bottle feed too.
Don't take mom away but still bottle feed them. It will be too stressful for her to take them away. Just take them to bottle feed. You can still express as much as you can. Brooke had this same problem.
They had to be moved bc we don’t live on our farm…. Everyone is doing great now. 😊
I would not want to risk it either! So sad!
It’s so difficult having babies at the farm & your home is in town.
😔. I know…. We’re working on that.
Sometimes it help to help the baby find the teat and hold mom still for just awhile.
We had done that as well…. That was the part I talked about we didn’t film bc we were busy working. At least got a dose of colostrum in the babies.
That’s kinda like Mrs Brooks baby goat. .
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💕
You shouldn't have to explain your actions on your farm. It is sad people want to tell you how to run your farm. You do what is best, you know your responsibilities. Love the new babies, the multi-colored one is really pretty.
Thank you!
💙💞💙💙💞🐐🐐🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Are you going to sell Jersey since she can't nurse babies?
We won’t sell her…. But she may be retired from breeding. We’ll see what the vet says.
Glad to hear someone finally locked up Jason and Brook. Lol
😂. Outlaws!
It's more for you guys, but I think you guys made the right call. Could Jerzy have mastitis?
We don’t THINK it’s gotten that far yet, but treating to be in the safe side.
Zoe, you seemed less than impressed with the new incubator, which was surprising. Did Nick edit out you jumping up and down?
😂. I’ll have to ask her, but no jumping.
Are mommies producing g milk? If not I'd be taking them home to bottle feed
Google/Look up lamb/goat milk machine, USA 🙂🙂🙂
You should get colostrum from another goat
We had it on standby. 😊
I think your goat with uneven teats is like Cog Hills goat and may need antibiotics.
maybe she didn't get enough milk or it was just too hot
🙏❣🙏❣🙏
🙏🙏❤🌹🌷❤🙏🙏
@coghillfarms
Borrow Brooke's milking machine.. & pick her mind as they had an issue with mama to the triplets
Can you leave them with momma and go out and feed them a few times a day and feed them. It’s so sad the mommas don’t have their babies and want them.
If we could get out to the farm that often, we definitely would.
and if you have milk the moms and I would pull and have nuggets to feed and safe the baby's and I would do baby need there milk
Is it possible the heat killed the baby goat?
We don’t THINK so, but anything is possible. She had lots of shade available but they’re still fragile.
Maybe she is in pain because it’s so swollen.
That’s certainly a possibility.
Bottle feed now
Brooke and Jason had that same problem… she had to hand feed the triplets for weeks, but thank the Lord, those babies are thriving… it’s heartbreaking hearing the mama call, but I don’t think the mamas realize that there is a problem - 🙏🏻🩵 those babies are soooo cute 🥰
Yeah, they get to go back and bond every day.
