When she would quietly shake her head with Elaine was trying to spread misinformation about her testimony gave me a thrill because you can tell Elaine would get corrected. Elaine even made a mistake and asked a question that revealed that she said she was hungry after 4 hrs of interviewing and Johnny offered to get food. Show she was there for 4 hours and then got food which generous Johnny paid for. Elaine messed up with that line of question.

They thought they could use some of the facts that Amber gave to make the case messy and muddy who abused who. They thought they could use this trial as a high-profile case, which would be another brilliant notch in their resume.
They were wrong, dead wrong, and they don’t deserve any sympathy for trying to pivot this case. They choose an easy path and now they’re paying for it. They aren’t brave or admirable, they’re a pack of cheap snakes.

Just to be clear so everyone understands. Board certification is an optional certification relating to specific fields of specialization however many practicing doctors choose not to get a board certification or maintain it.
True, licensing is way more important for my opinion, cause you cannot do or you are not qualified to do any diagnosis or anything as a doctor or a nurse etc. if you're not licensed. As for board certificate its just like addition to your qualification if you think about it, just a cherry on top of the cake. I hate how elaine belittle Dr. Curry's license status and her experience like its so easy to attain a doctors license and experience. This is the reason why I hate some Lawyers, they attack you below the belt and unethical in my opinion.
This is true. Also board certification for psychologists is completely unneccesary. According to the APA less than 10 percent of therapists are board certified. My sister was a psychologist at one of the biggest jails in the country for 10 years and was never board certified, it's a complete red herring from her legal team. Dr. Curry could easily be board certified with her credentials and educational background it would just likely be a complete waste of money for her and wouldn't affect her practice at all.

It's quite obvious to most people that there is a clear difference in the quality of witnesses between the two teams. Part of that I would assume is that JD's case is clearly stronger than AH's, and so more reliable experts would be willing to work with JD's team than AH's. That's why the only experts AH's team can seem to get are unreliable and unprofessional, because any expert worth their salt would not work for them.

A good point that I found out watching a lawtube stream last night is that once AH's team runs out of time, they cannot cross-examine any witnesses. The news of the TMZ whistleblower might be what is sending them into speedrun panic mode. Johnny's team can save their strongest witnesses for after the defense timer has run out.

Who cares if she spent 4 hours with them, her findings can be scrutinized and verified by others in her field because she follows the standards instead of Heard’s doctor who left many of the questions blanks in an attempt to obfuscate.

I don't think it's problematic at all.. most of the time when someone is not an actual expert they usually self destruct their own case/testimony. As we've seen throughout this trial, all we gotta do is let these experts speak and you can tell right away who's legit. Also with cross examination, if the lawyer doesn't have any valid argument you get questions like these lol
A lot of UK Court Practices would be super useful in the US. Like where if you win your case the opposing side has to pay your legal fees. In America both sides have to pay their own legal fees except in a handful of cases, this creates the ability for large corporations and individuals to throw a frivolous lawsuit at you, bury you in paperwork and just drag the case out until you're broke.
There is something in court called "Damages" which means the Jury can entitle Opposing Councel to pay the winner's legal fees.

Honestly the way AH's legal team projects a very aggressive and unprofessional behavior, fitting considering who they are representing.
I have second hand embarrassment on the amount of time AHs lawyers are WASTING. Rehashing how crazy their client is, not a great move either.

I'm always embarrassed by Amber's lawyers and their attempts to look considerate of the jury when they're really not. Just as their client pretends to be things she's not. And I'm always embarrassed by how many lies keep getting expose on Amber's side. I also lie when Amber's lawyers act like they're schooling experts in their own field 😒

That last bit with Johnny's lawyer asking Dr Curry if she's complied with the APA's guidelines. It's a final statement of her professionalism, that's good for the court, but her response is better. She's professional and proud of it. The opposition's tactic against her was to question her professionalism, so giving her that last chance to affirm it was great. Clearly it meant a lot to her as well.
Good god Elaine's line of questioning is so transparently petty and lacking in substance. What a waste of precious time.

At this point, I don’t think the jury are even listening. Especially, with these hurried questions trying to disprove the actual expert (compare to their drunk-looking ‘expert’)

The Dr. Hughes that made it very obvious through her testimony that she doesn't believe men can be victims of IPV unless it's a same-sex relationship? .....I will be amazed if Amber's lawyers ever find another client

This is basically a generic version of the other legal team’s discrediting of Dr. Spiegel (sp?) and the other aggressive lady the other day. They should’ve been more concerned about ethics when choosing their previous “expert” witnesses.

There is a difference between an inventory (self reporting, mostly unsupervised) and an evaluation/interview which is professionally directed, scored, and scores compilated to provide a stastical determination of the likelyhood of a specific disorder. They did a rush job on Amber, took 3 months for mine to be completed for Complex PTSD.
