With the conclusion of Infinity Train after its fourth season, it’s about time we finally constructed a complete timeline of this show, which, let’s face it, has a lot of flashbacks, intertwined plotlines happening more or less at the same time, and things happening out of order, so if you wanted everything cleared up, this is the video for you. With that said, I’m Jeremy and this is the complete timeline of Infinity Train.

The fact that the creators were planning on 8 seasons of Infinity Train makes it’s cancellation at season 4 so heartbreaking. I really hope they can revive it soon
I don't know if any other channels would renew it AND keep it the same; cartoon network has seriously been going downhill for some time now with the age demographic but it would be nice
Th other 4 seasons would have maybe informed us about the train’s origine,why does Amelia failed attempts turned into turtles and maybe some bounding between Amelia and the turtle girl

One can sort of draw correlations between turtles and Amelia.
Even though she is taught to move on from her dead lover; she keeps hiding in the shell of her memories. She's defensive to others and very hard. Very rarely opening up to others. She has so many sins on her shoulders, and her emotional state is still a mess.
At least it 4 so half way to 8 aka infinity
There are so many more things to explore from this show and it makes it's cancellation so sad

4:25 They will die regardless, they aren’t immortal. If they didn’t get their number down they would simply die on the train.

6:06 there's no indication that Hazel was created in the Unfinished Car, that was just one of Amelia's failed attempts at making a car of her life.

I love this show. It's so original and fresh compared to other series today. It's a shame that the series got cancelled.

@@lordmeow The 5th season would’ve been a movie that focuses on Amelia when she was on board the train while Min Gi and Ryan were there too. That’s why she had a few cameo appearances throughout the fourth season.
I keep wondering why this series isn't popular enough to be kept alive. THIS WAS EVERYTHING!!!
This show being canceled is a crime and I'll never not be mad about it.

Yeah, it was that the animators getting laid off and that the show is getting darker and darker so that's what happened
Could it be possible that Hazel is the creation of what could have been the daughter of Amelia and Alrick. She is a failed attempt of creating Alrick, but she is also a girl and not a boy, and she has the number Amelia got when she first entered the train, which makes her kind of a combination of both Alrick and Amelia.

I think that actually makes sense- and possibly part of the reason Amelia doesn’t want to grow close to Hazel is because of how much she resembles Alrick?
Extra details:
Tulip boards the train in November of 2019 and exits five months later.
Books 2 and 3 take place during 2020. Some background Apex characters actually can be seen wearing masks in Book 3.
As confirmed in the Snow Car short, Amelia was the conductor for 33 years.
This also allows us to infer that Book 4 (and the unfinished Amelia film) takes place in the late 80s.
Where have you found the exact years? Was it mentioned during AMA or something?

Tulip didn't get off the train 7 months later.When she got off it was then the 7 month time skip. Not during the time on the train

I have a random theory, In book 4, 6 year old Ryan has a red lighting mark on his face, this was definitively a David Bowie reference. So, Aladdin Sane (the album where he uses the lighting mark on the cover) was launched in 1973, so i think that was the year Ryan and Min-Gi were 6 plus the 12(?) years that go until Min is going to go to college it will be 1985, so I think this was the year of Book 4
You can tell season 4 was kind of pushed together and there was still so much more left for us to understand, sigh, hope this show comes back one day!!

Share this show everyone, I haven’t been this blown away by an animated series since Over the Garden Wall. It needs to be spread so we can get the complete story and finish the show off with all 8 seasons!!
Finally somebody else who has seen Over the Garden Wall! That's one of my comfort shows, and since then, infinity train has been my favorite show! I literally watch it every other day. I really wish they continue it.
One thing I always loved about Grace's backstory is that she only starts wearing her hair natural when she gets on the train. Her parents both seem to have straightened their hair and hers, an allegory for how they force her into a life that is uncomfortable and unnatural and at the same time an interesting nod to how upper middle class black people usually feel pressured to mimic white beauty standards. She only sheds this hairstyle once she boards the train and seizes her own power in a space that seems to be without racial discrimination for the most part.
So is it possible for another studio to pick up the show?? I mean he did want to do 4 more seasons...
That's a very tough question. Owen Dennis wants to do more but because of a few reasons, CN isn't green-lighting any future seasons.

The Fact That they said they wanted to make 8 seasons and the final season would have ended in a battle with all the passengers of each seasons hurts me 😔

Just a quick little thing. Tuba's actually a lady. She was a mom, but she lost her children, so Hazel became like her adopted daughter.
I've never seen this how, yet its one of the most unique and original idea I've heard for a show in many years. Too bad it got cancelled before it would resolve at least the plot thread with Apex.
It has? Season 2 and 3 explained the Apex. They ended up telling the kids they had to solve their problems and life out.

I really hope this somehow isn't the true end of this show. A show with a fantastical setting, but that is actually about dealing with real world emotions and issues. There are other animated shows out there that of course follow that same description and they are incredible in their own right, but I've never seen something else that does it so purposefully as Infinity Train and I just really want more!

Headcanon/Theory: trains were inspired by the Infinity Train, the idea came from someone who was on the train
This show made me feel some heavy emotions. I can't believe this is marketed to kids. The children of the future are going to be much more complete and reflective then the "immortal" generations that die in masses.
I have a theory that the accident Jeremy got involved in is the same accident that killed Amelia's fiancée. Timelike-wise, it works. Jeremy's family AND Olric gets into the an accident, dies, both Jeremy and Amelia ends up on the train approximately at the same time, Jeremy hangs out at the living house for years while Amelia makes her way to the engine like Tulip did, eventually encountering One! By that point Jeremy left, but Amelia didn't! We don't know how long Amelia got on the train during the season 4 events, I think; could have been years for her, too, which would make the timeline works for the accident being connected that way.

One thing that always bugged me is how the numbers behaved with Emilia and Simon. Whenever the number drops from ones, tens, hundreds etc., this is a huge amount. Emilia says thanks and her number dropped basically by 99.999%. Or Simon commiting a sin increases his number tenfold.
I think it shows how little effort it takes to START bettering or worsening yourself.

Slight correction. None of Season 2 and Season 1 overlap in terms of timeline. One One is the Conductor by the time episode 1 happens of the 2nd season exclusively making all season 2 events after.
Infinity Train will never see its complete vision come to fruition. Unless a miracle happens, these four seasons will be all that stands, and that is unbelievably tragic.
To all the people being sad that the show was cancelled;don't get to sad,because then you'll also board the Infinity train gor having an unresolved problem in life.

I really hope this series comeback, It's has an amazing story. Every character has a story of there own, u won't get bored, since every new season they change. This became One of favorites show after Adventure Time.

Such a refreshing show I finished the fourth season today and was saddened that that’s all we were given :/ first 2 seasons are def my favorite. 3rd season was such an emotional rollercoaster

What happened to Hazel and Amelia? I'm assuming this would have been one of the storylines in the future seasons that never happened (have yet to happen???). A brilliant show that is far darker than it initially appears on the surface, Infinity Train is one of those gems hidden in the rough of animated shows. Great breakdown of the timeline!

Ryan and Min-Gi were passengers during roughly the late 90's to early 2000's since the technology they meet or don't see in their time in the real world matches much of this time for what I could get
