I was wondering just that
I know that it was canonized, but i really don't wanna believe it. It would make more sense that the trainworld acts as a timeless pocket dimension that drops the passengers back off some time after pickup
Technically....The Train and the real world can move in relative time. But Tulip could have still been returned to when she left. That's relative to the door itself, not the world. But she still would be five months older.
@@animo358 Well, Jessie was weeks on the train according to Book 2 and he returned to the time shortly after he hurt his brother. He was absent for a few hours at most in the real world.
@@Quinyel Yes, that was my point. Where the door exits and opens from dosen't matter. It's how the door makes the connection.
Two seasons later and we can confirm that they were not lying when they said passengers can die on the train...

I think that Infinity Train might be like a multi-character type of show, focusing on different characters on the train with various themes and lessons. But I do hope that we get to see Tulip meeting with One-One or Atticus again, maybe as an Easter Egg?

17:42 I'm the one who added that trivia on the Infinity Train wiki on March 2018 and I was referring to the pilot design of the train. The new design of the train seems to have a piston on its sides. Each piston for each wheel.
Because even weird properties on the train have their own logic, it sure does run on magic.
I guess the crew saw that trivia I added.
EDIT: Wait, the new design of the train has a piston and valve gear on it. We might say it's a steam train but it doesn't have a fire chamber and a smokestack. The fire chamber is the compartment where you shove coal into it to boil the water, turning it to steam. The smokestack is where the smoke from the train comes out. The train truly runs by magic.
Or it can be a diesel locomotive
Okay, hear me out... what if the train's actually nuclear? It's huge enough to house a reactor and that would also be more practical than steam or diesel, seeing as nuclear fuel rods run for years. With the size of the lovomotive considered, cooling apparatus could easily be added in the engine car, with a sealed system in place so no water escapes, and heatsinks under the train to get rid of excess heat. Et voila: one self-sustaining supertrain with no visible smokestack or exhausts.

There’s so many questions to be answered in later seasons. Like how does the infinity train exist, who made one-one, will Amelia go home and accept change, what’s Chrome Tulip up to these days, why are some train cars the way they are (and not Amelia’s attempted cars) such as the cat car and other worlds? So many questions
