I have spent the time learning Ferguson Street Pier in Williamstown and now I am ready to show you what I do to catch Bream there!
This is about soft plastics and not bait. You will need a 1-3kg or 2-4kg rod to do what I show you in this video (in my opinion).
It is a great location to spend a morning or afternoon.
One tip I forgot to mention is that if there has been lots of rain in the week prior and the water is murky/milky I wont not even bother throwing a cast. I have not yet caught one fish when the water is like that (and I fish a lot)

Lincoln, what sort of time do you have the most success with the breams? Thanks.
Nice mate
Noob question when fishing and casting with a paternoster rig when still how do u keep the line tight i always have trouble doing so ill tighten the slack then after a min or so it will have slack ?
That's a bait question, but generally if I was experiencing that I would put a heavier sinker.
how long have u hade your shimano seanas for
Great video man. We worked jem pier on Sunday morning past, and no luck. We saw a couple of bream, but they weren't interested that morning. Oh well.
I'll hopefully try Ferguson this week :)
Geek Tim bream can be tricky! Somtimes they just look at you and I swear they are thinking "what do you think I am an idiot" haha
Land Fish TV hahaha yup. Exactly!
Land Fish TV do you use the same plastic if targeting Flatties?
Geek Tim If I am at the place I will just flick the same lure I have on out betweem the boats and bottom bounce it and I pick flatties up. However if I am targeting flathead I would use 2.5inch and above. Currently loving the slim swim in 2.5 and 3 inch for flathead.
Land Fish TV awesome man. Thanks for the tips. Just getting back into fishing and it's all new to me :)
Appreciate the help :)
Hey mate what net do you use?
Great video, enjoyed that, thanks!
Were you letting the lure hit the bottom or just mid water?
Mid water 👌
some good info
+Ycozican thanks mate. Always good to help people.
Do one of these on kerferd road pier pls
The Gaming Jakes that pier is very simple. Its very small. All you have to do there is never cast in the same spot... spread out your casts and keep fishing.
I was here this morning on low tide. Flicking both 2.5" grubs and fresh squid and not a single bite ☹ Maybe I'll try my luck next time on high tide.
Try fishing docklands!
Fishing_victoria I have many times. It is a very hit and miss location.
It sure is just went yesterday, and massive bream just went and sniffed it, then swam off! So stressful mate, but if you use bait your in for a treat.
I have hooked a massive bream once but got off........... The bream there are very intelligent.
me: YES I CAUGHT A FISH well is to small I'm gonna throw It back in
FISH: GOVERMENT THERE ARE HUMANSSS CATCHING US
Government: OK IM SENDING THE HOOMAN SIGNAL
no more fish
Did you skip your medication today?
Land Fish TV lol
Lincoln, what sort of time do you have the most success with the breams? Thanks.
I tend to fish alot in the early mornings (mixed in with a high tide) for bream, but I have caught them mid morning and afternoon too. Never had much luck in the middle of the day unless it's cloudy. Goodluck.
