Ac recharge on 2003 Ford Sport Trac

My daily 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac was in need of some AC work. I had to swap out the evap coil, dryer, and the orifice tube. After that, the system needed to get a recharge.

Also, provided you don't have any leaks, you can tell when the moisture is boiled out cause the vapor will stop from your pump exhaust. Also, I like to zero my scale and read a negative number. I'm good at math but I'm lazy lol

Pretty cool to see this. IT’s September 1 and I’m still wishing my AC was working. Well maybe next year. I say it every year. My 460 AC hasn’t been too bad though. I just keep a hat in the car for when I get where I’m going.
