- In this video we are changing up the Wife's Lexus key to a newer style flip key using the Xhorse Key Products. In this video we will cut a test key and blade key to make sure they work in the door and ignition. After that we will get the Xhorse universal remote ready to accept Lexus RKE programming and then learn the remote. Last step we are going to clone the transponder chip in the original key and write that info to the Xhorse Superchip so the vehicle will start and run.
Thanks for watching!

I programmed a key from eeprom dump on a Jeep a few months ago, this is the best time to be an auto technician.
That’s awesome! Congratulations on that buddy

Cody, I did the same thing a few months ago for my 2002 IS300 but I used the Toyota style Flip key. Of course to test / play with my brand new toy (key tool max) It’s a good tool to have in the arsenal
Absolutely buddy, it’s fun to learn new things
Definitely a great new addition to your tool collection. I hope it makes you money and a customer happy. Thanks for sharing!
I like the addition of the X-horse and I am sure you thought this purchase through and make it pay for itself . 3 Years ago I thought about adding the cutting machine but my access to locksmith services is from every point where I am working from maximum 30 minutes . I don´t have to explain to you that the upkeep on scanners , software subscription renewal and new tools take a pretty big chunk of my income . The locksmith´s prices are so low that it´s not worth buying the cutter . I can program every key and in my case that´s enough . Success Cody .
Yeah I hear ya on the price of equipment and upkeep. I have been asked multiple times a week if I do keys so I knew this equipment would pay itself off pretty quickly.
I want to let you know that we’re thinking about and wishing Joe is feeling better ❤️
Hey Shane, Joe is still going to doctors to try and find the root cause of what is going on. I wish I had better news but i don’t, unfortunately 😞
Awesome Video
Nice job , thanks for sharing! I am also not a huge fan of cloning. I appreciate you showing the x horse set up.
Thanks for stopping by buddy.
Good to see you back. I have the xhorse hand tool, and some keys very handy. I bought a good quality Chinese pliers first time I used it I broke the pin on the pliers. I would like to see a video on the xhorse obd dongle you have.
Thanks buddy, feels good to be back. I can definitely do a video on the xhorse obd dongle, I know it’s come along way in the last couple months since it was released
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 appreciate it.
Any videos you put out are great!! I always learn something 😌 💯
Thank you!

Thanks for sharing Cody. Quite a process Hope all is good. I wrote joe awhile back and seemed to still be getting the doctor runaround. Have you heard anything? Anyway thanks buddy for sharing and stay safe and well Artie 🇺🇸👎
Hey Arthur! I’ve spoke with Joe and heard the same thing you just mentioned about the doctors 😡 I hate hearing he is t making any progress
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 really sorry to hear that. I’ll drop him a short message. Thanks Cody
How are doing. Glad to hear you are buzy.
Doing good Bill! Staying busy which is good. How are you doing?
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 Doing good. Like you been super busy. Hoping to slow down a little.
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 I wanted to ask you. Have you heard anything on the Autel oscilloscope.
cool
Cody, ur AWESOME brother thanks for sharing ur knowledge really impressive and can we use Autel 608 to do the programing and cloning and would be much appreciated if you share the links to the tools you are using specially the pin plyers as always learning from the master is great. cheeeers from Ontario Canada
Hello buddy, the im608 won’t do any cloning unfortunately.
Dang!! You beat me to it. I’m still waiting on my cutting machines to arrive. Are the testing keys less expensive than the flip key blanks?
That’s awesome Chad! Actually the flip key blanks are the way to go for testing the keys, those are like .50 compared to $6 for the testing key. Lesson learned lol.
So was that open the door, rub my head, click heels twice, tap belly? Ah, screw it. I'll just have you come out to do my keys
You must have read service info huh? 😂😂
I have this memorized! lol

😂😂
How much you pay for the key tools
Key machine is about 2k and the key tool max with the obd dongle is around $500
Hey, you got those pliers! Are you liking them?
Yes sir! Thanks again man. I like them much better then the vise I have for the flip keys.
can you do a different profile on the other side for a different vehicle like we used to do on the old ford double side???? of course with the transponder it wont start but you can get in the doors or trunk
That I’m not sure about, I’ll have to do some research on this.
👍
That's a mildly time consuming process. I haven't played with those sensors yet. Now that I think of it, I haven't played much with the Verus either. Too much part changing...
It’s actually not to bad after you have done a couple, could do the whole process in 15 minutes.
The problem I have is that I want to program a new body control for the Ford Explorer 2018 car. I am interested in programming security. I want to do Parameter Reset. Username asks me for the password
You need a lsid in order to perform perimeter reset on this year.
hi bro can you help me to own a codys pulse sensor im from the phillipines
