I have a '96 f150 will turn over but will not fire up I checked all the fuses and they are all good I'm thinking it might be a relay or something any help is very appreciated I do not trust shops so I'm going to have to figure it out myself and don't have a lot of cash but I do need my truck running

This product was good. Works well on domestic vehicles. Unfortunately key codes aftermarket vs dealer level are different and won't work. Need to get the key codes from NATFA. Also, the programming and SCN coding on Mercedes is very limited to power train. Won't do SAM and various other body modules.

I can see the benefit, I program on the weekly but sometimes it would be easier when you’re busy to have someone remote in and handle it. Especially with FCA and their rolling codes (pin codes) you will still need NASTF.

I just installed a new PCM into a 99 Dodge Ram Van 5.2 and need to write the VIN to the PCM. The tool you used is currently about $480. Is there a cheaper option for my van, like the one you're working on in the video? Thank you for making these fixes possible.

if you verified power/ground to the fan, grounded the blue wire and the fan didn't respond the fan must be bad. not necessary to check the PCM input at this point unless the fan circuit somehow killed the PCM driver.

You my friend are a life saver! Great video outstanding explanation! Thank you so much for your help. Saved me a lot of $$$ and aggravation for a 96 cent fuse and 5 minutes of my time. The only caution I would add is wiggle the fuse in all directions and pull it out gently, because these fuses are pretty well burned and can break off in the fuse box!

Fully agreed. I just went through a 2 hour update on my zeus. Had to clean the windows system first because there wasn't enough memory to install the shopstream update, then I needed to do the windows update. Garbage tool very disappointing.

nice. i spend wayyyy too much time keeping my friggin drawers organized. ill get them all set up perfect then use 2 of 10 drawers for the whole month for some reason and forget where i put that one test light, get pissed and re organize.

how do you perform a fuel pressure test on a Prius? my aunts Prius has a p0171 code and I have been wanting to do a pressure test but no videos show how to do it since there is no Schrader valve on the fuel rail.

Bingo, set while driving ~62mph. Thanks for sharing spec fuel pressure range as i couldn't find it. Turns out fuel pressure tested to 28psi, ran okay, poor mpg. My biggest pia was learning easiest way to connect pressure gauge inline. Result: use the quck disconnect by firewall (after taking wipers and metal cover off. Let the car sit a while for fuel pressure to decrease before disconnecting fuel line. Had to get sending unit repair line to fit the disconnect and the hose to connect to the pressure gauge tee. Other side of pressure gauge just hose connect to the metal fuel line. Used adjustable hose clamps.

i have the same problem. but it isn't the fuel pump fuse, and also changed the fuel pump control module thats in the rear of the truck and problem persist. What else could i check?

A faster and easier way to do that is grab ahold of the coil spring while spinning the wheel by hand and you can feel it in the spring

2003 Ford F150 wouldnt start this afternoon… Out with Granddaughter and dog… Towed to Ford mechanic since no time to self diagnose… Tech said first thing they do is check that fuse… If not that they look at the fuel pump… Thanks from 2024…

Sometimes newer is not better. i just bought another test light because I'm hunting down a weird issue with my truck. Had trouble finding a test light with a incandescent bulb. I already have a digital one. Thanks for showing us a great load drop test.

I have X431 ProS mini. It works good up until the 2 years subscription expires. Special functions won't work anymore. You can still use it as scan tool. It's a bummer they want 750 for a full update. Greedy people. Why they disabled it. It's okay to not receive ugreetings. Expiration, but disabling the function is just pure manipulation and greediness. So people watch out after 2 years. Your scanner will be just same as an enhanced OBD II reader.

Im wanting reprogram my chevy as a dyi enthusiastic i changee out my ecm and i have tried other ways to reprogram it. Do you recommend cardad plus 3 or a launch 431x to reprogram or spending 6000 on the rad your trying to promote im not a dealer or a shop i will buy this maybe use it a couple of times then it will be put away.
