This scene always has me in tears
Wow. Brillant performance...her breathing is shaking and you cn feel that pure emotion.. Award!!!
Because she's got her own issues with how she feels black actresses r paid n ppl who claim to be helping black actors and actresses r not helping much she's came out to speak on this.. thay emotion is real because she got her own issues similar to this.. today this goes on? Shameful now idk what Morgan freeman or densely get paid but I do know she doesn't get paid enough.. poor thing
This was from 2016 before the narrative of demanding more pay. This was based in the 60's when black people had no rights and discrimination was at its worse in classroom and the workplace.. This included her parents and grandparents. I'd probably be an emotion wreck if I had to deliver those lines.
It's real for Melanated people, not a performance
Wow, wow, such powerful moving acting. This actress shouldn't receive not one Oscar, but two and maybe more. What a powerful actress she is.

What a powerful performance! I have tears in my eyes watching this. Nobody deserves to be subjected to this kind of treatment. This is based on a true story😢

Por desgracia siguen sucediendo tratos injustos ya sean por el color de tu piel, género, orientación sexual o lugar de nacimiento. Hay mucho por lo qué luchar 💪🏻
It still happens today.
This speech, as brilliant and powerful as it was, is an invention for the film though. In real life she just used the white bathrooms. Didn't ask for permission, nor did she give a fuck. Badass
Such a powerful powerful scene. The fact she wasn't even nominated for or no awards for this role says it all.
She is an amazing actress and deserves Respect!!!
That shit brought tears to my eyes!! She is a great actress 👏 👏 👏
Quite powerful acting skills indeed

Well at least you can get some comfort knowing that the real person came out and said this bathroom thing was not true and there weren't segregated bathrooms
