LYRICS:
People are in big confusion
They don't like their constitutions
Every day, they draw conclusions
And they're still prepared for war
Some can say what's ineffective
Some make up themselves attractive
Build up things they call protective
Well, your life seems quite bizarre
In the sky a mighty eagle
Doesn't care about what's illegal
On its wings the rainbow's light
It's flying to eternity
Eagle fly free, let people see
Just make it your own way
Leave time behind, follow the sign
Together we fly someday
Hey, we think so supersonic
And we make our bombs atomic
Or the better, quite neutronic
But the poor don't see a dime
Nowadays, the air's polluted
Ancient people persecuted
That's what mankind contributed
To create a better time
In the sky a mighty eagle
Doesn't care about what's illegal
On its wings the rainbow's light
It's flying to eternity
Eagle fly free, let people see
Just make it your own way
Leave time behind, follow the sign
Together we fly someday
In the sky a mighty eagle
Doesn't care about what's illegal
On its wings the rainbow's light
It's flying to eternity
Eagle fly free, let people see
Just make it your own way
Leave time behind, follow the sign
Together we fly someday
Together we fly someday
Forever we fly
Together we fly
Forever we fly someday

Enjoy! 🙏❤
You misinterpreted it. It's a critique of America. America is the eagle.
@@ChrisPage68 Maybe so. But as far as we know the Eagle represents freedom, not just American (which we believe is specifically the bald eagle). But either way, we believe the spirit of the song represents a criticism of people from the world at large, along with the optimism of people being able to turn things around.
Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏
@@ChrisPage68 Can you provide a 'reference' for your 'interpretation' ?
Love it and Love to see Haruna play!
Great to see her enjoy herself so much and absolutely rock it in this one! We loved it!
great reaction , thank you , yes the LOVEBITES do few covers because they don't do covers but tributes to the bands they love , Helloween is Haruna's favorite band , but I think Miyako also love this song very much because she made a piano solo arrangement of it , for her solo lp is here on their official channel

Yes, we saw that. Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏
Wolfpack here visiting your channel.
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES.
Haruna (Dr) started learning to play the drums at the age of 13.
He became obsessed with metal after seeing a heavy metal bant at a local live music club.
Haruna's favorite band is "Helloween".
The first drummer Haruna admired was Ulrich Kusch.
The solos from Miho and Haruna make this stand out. Pity they weren't a bit longer. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great Cover from Lovebites and great respect for The original Song 🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹
Agree. I don't want them to try to change the song ... I just want to hear them sing it.
@@1970Phoenix Agreed. In my opinion, the original song is "untouchable" anyway, as a masterpiece. So you either play it as it was composed, or you just leave it.
Lovebites quickly became my favorite band and I enjoy everything they do. This is one of their better works.
🤟🏻🔥BEST🐺🦅🎃COVER🔥🤘🏻
Hello, greetings to all.
I know I'm biased, but Lovebites does everything great. I like this cover more than the original version, they know how to give it their strength and their particular style. These girls drive me crazy. Besides, seeing the whole band is a pleasure for my ears and my eyes.
In this song in particular, it is Haruna that makes me vibrate the most.
This was actually for a crowd, this was a ‘Live’ stream concert
That make a lot of sense! Such an awesome performance!
BTW it's not a studio recording it's from a live stream during covid lockdown to celebrate the anniversary of their 1st album
coffee and LOVEBITES a great start to any day thanks guys ! and Helloween is Haruna's favorite just look at her smiling ...never mind she always smiles like that lol
Absolutely! Then again coffee goes with everything... and so do Lovebites! 😉🤘
Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏
Ha, sooo true!!🤘@@myindieprodentertainment
Haruna's favorite band! Uli Kusch made her start playing the drums...
One word....Perfection..
Absolutely! It seems we can say that about every Lovebites song/performance 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏

Studio, live Lovebites always brings it !
Always! 🤘
Agreed. They are _excellent_ in the studio, and _even better_ in their live shows. Phanomenal.
Miho Miho Miho!
As much as I LOVE their original songs (and I love them a LOT), I'd be happy if they covered more classic metal songs. If they released an album of covers, I'd definitely buy it.
Asami power vocals 🎤💯🔥
Great Cover 🤘🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤❤
Best "Eagle Fly Free" cover ever. You guys should also check out Miyako's piano cover of this same song : czcams.com/video/-h3BLRs0Xr4/video.html . This piano cover will reinforce the point that metal is just classical music with modern instrumentation.
As always, your reaction is really great. As always, it was interesting!
This video was taken from a DVD/BD, but originally it was a live stream during covid.
Also, there is a piano cover by Miyako of this song on the official Lovebites CZcams channel. And it is a very cool cover!
Thank you for the reaction! More Lovebites on the channel!
I dont know if you knew about that but this video is in fact a real live. It was streamed in direct. The name of the full live is : Live from the Abyss.
It was during Covid and no public event were alowed in Japan. So they streamed a full live from this studio.
Listen to Miyako's classical piano version of this song....chef's kiss !!
😏❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘
when you think about it, most metal is classical in nature.... Nice review
Great reaction as always. At the last concerts Miyako played an piano intro to "Lost in the Garden" La Campanella from composer Franz Liszt czcams.com/video/ZCQmSutU3uU/video.html a very difficult Piece to play, but she pulled it of. Masterpiece!
Judas Priest's Painkiller cover is awsome but also this cover is great!
🤘🐺🤘 Awake Again - Live From Abyss - Tokyo 2020 Dec - 70min📀
The Hammer Of Wrath - Warning Shot - Shadowmaker - Scream For Me - Liar - Burden Of Time -
The Apocalypse - Inspire - Don't Bite The Dust - Edge Of The World - Bravehearted - *Eagle Fly Free* .
Great band. Great cover.
Hi Guys! I would like to recommend another song from this same on-stream concert called "Burden of Time." Is it one of their best songs? Not in my opinion. It kind of has a 70s-80s southern rock feel. However, Miyako does something in that song that I, personally, have never seen done by any other musician. I'm not going to say what it is, because I want it to be a surprise for you. I am very interested to see your reactions when you see it for the first time. I know that you have a very long list of songs to get to, but I hope you can get to before tooooooo long! As always, stay safe and peace!
Yeah! It sounds like classical, you should 100% check miyako (Lovebites guitarist) piano version of this song
Absolutely. I did it. An amazing individual approach. Simply Miyako.
You'll find 3 covers by LOVEBITES (this included), 6 piano covers by Miyako ("Eagle Fly Free" included!), and a bass cover by Fami in my posted (check)list/overview!
This is not the only one, but the other 55 songs are self-written!
In the interest of clarifying the origin of this recording, yes, it was a pay-per-view 'stream' on October 25, 2020, 3rd Anniversary of the release of 'Awakening From Abyss' full album, and portrayed (in marketing) as "live" (as I recall), however, the Blu-ray booklet shows it was recorded at Soundcrew Studio Japan on September 10, 2020. Another unique aspect is that it was mixed by Yousuke Watanabe at Victor Studio; Mastered by Takahiro Uchida at Victor Studio/FLAIR while nearly all other "Official" releases are mixed & mastered at Finnvox Studios, Helsinki, Finland.
This, I do believe, is a 'one-take' continuous performance/recording of all songs as presented on their first full album, "Awakening From Abyss" ... fantastic songs, every one. Amazing performances individually & as a whole. The inclusion of "Eagle Fly Free" 'fits' with their originals.
"Awake Again - LIVE from Abyss" is "a masterwork" in my opinion, and a treasured part of my LOVEBITES 'collection' having been the one that motivated me to 'jump through the hoops' to setup purchasing direct from Victor in Japan & having Tenso (a proxy shipper) send all "authentic" LOVEBITES disks, shirts, etc. to me here in Oregon, USA.
🐺
They also cover pain killer
Metal music is based on classical music, hard rock is based on the blues! 🤘
Both have Blues embedded in them.
@@ChrisPage68 Well, they both do rock, but metal does not take the roll part that hard rock does.
all base on Bach and his Fuge :)
I think they improved on the original. Most of the instruments nail it, and I'll take Asami over Kiske any time. Yes, the structure is classical--which makes me realize you must not have seen Miyako's piano cover of this song, because that really brings out how classical this is in style.
This is an excellent cover by amazing Lovebites. Yes, Asami’s vocals are better than the original. It is a song that could’ve been composed by Lovebites regarding the lyrics. They also have recorded a cover of Judas Priest’s “Pain killer” and played live a cover of Halestorm’s “Love bites (so do I).

Thanks for enjoying and sharing this performance. I appreciate your lyrical interest & analysis.
The human concept of "dominion" has shifted behavior from "cooperation" with nature.
Rather than being an integral part of a 'balanced' experience we are taught to "fix" what is not-broken, rendering imbalance, needless suffering, injustice & struggle instead of the abundance & harmony that mutual-respect through empathic-personal-empowerment with voluntary-inclusive-cooperation, refusing coercion while embracing personal-responsibility can facilitate.
May humanity find it's way to embrace "the whole" of this complex intertwining of life-forms to allow us all to experience the "Paradise" that remains.
My experience with LOVEBITES consistently affirms these views and goals for me and is why I support and promote them.
Have I suggested this 'pairing' of songs from "Glory, Glory to the World" EP that both have no LIVE or MV? "Paranoia > Dystopia Symphony" [cc] lyrics & in celebration of Haruna's Birthday (12/30) her drums are 'enhanced' in the mix: czcams.com/video/yu0NwiC18y0/video.html 🧡

I didn't know this song before. I decided to listen to the original version.
But sorry, I prefer the cover of the song by Lovebites.😍
Itai, I have to disagree with your ideal approach to a cover song. Unlike yourself I want a cover song to capture the essence of the original. In LOVEBITES case, they were born out of a desire to carry forward a form of metal that is no longer in vogue, and is only really played in its purest form by the original artists who, naturally, are old and predominantly male. So this was the first cover song I heard from them, (not being particularly impressed by the song from which they took their name which they also covered but never recorded in a studio setting).
The next was Painkiller. Both captured the vibe and the musical structure of the original. And it shouldn’t surprise anyone because I doubt very much whether it would even enter the heads of the band members to try and put a spin on something they so obviously admire. They play these two songs *BECAUSE* they are LOVEBITES and because they are more than capable of matching the original artists note for note. They cover them because they are one of a handful of bands playing this type of music in this era. They reserve alternative styles (such as Swansong and A Frozen Serenade) for their own compositions.
In my personal, deeply biased opinion, they are the only band I have heard that I can honestly say make a great song even greater just because of their virtuosity.
