    We love factory tours! In the past, we've toured Thor Diesel in Elkhart IN, Newmar in Nappannee IN, Winnebago in Forest City IA, and Regency RV in Fort Worth TX. Most factories won't let you film or take pictures. We love that we can share this experience with you!

    Hey y'all! We hope you enjoyed this tour of the Tiffin Motorhomes Factory. This is just a small piece of what we saw over the hour and a half (or so) tour. Definitely check it out when you're around Red Bay, Alabama. We always enjoy factory tours. We'll be posting our video on the Tiffin paint factory tour in Belmont, MS in a future video. So be sure to watch for that. In the meantime, stay safe out there! We'll see you Wednesday!

    Good Morning Y'all ☕️! With my engineering background, the manufacturing aspect has always fascinated me since I was little kid and Tiffin makes it look so easy "putting together" the pieces that will eventually become a home on wheels! The view from the I-10 bridge over the Mississippi River there in Baton Rouge is always meismerising with the tall Louisiana capitol building to the north and the LSU stadium to the south. And, yes, the traffic congestion is there too every time we travel that way regardless of the time of day 😂! Stay Safe and Happy Trails!

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks Ben! We’re with you on both counts. It all looked so easy, and we always love crossing that bridge. Sometimes there are some huge barges and cargo ships down below. Stay safe!

    Pleasure to meet you on the tour Tom & Stacie. Enjoyed walking through all of the new rigs with you in Red Bay. The tour was great in seeing how these beautiful RVs are made. But also seeing the evolution from that '76 Allegro was pretty impressive. Hopefully next time I'll get a chance to meet your dog. Happy travels and I look forward to seeing your journeys here.

    Ha ha! Naked motorhome chassis! :D So cool. I wish I could see my motorhome's chassis, sometimes, but it's probably still very similar, even 25 years later and a Winnebago! :)
    I loved seeing the wood-bending.
    The different flooring being installed in different factories was interesting.
    Thank you so much for sharing this tour! :)

      @@rvamericayall Yes - it is an exciting look into very recent operations at Red Bay. Since, Tiffin is taking a break, the video gives folks who had a tour planned, a current view of what the hard working folks do to build Tiffin Motorhomes. I'll have to check out WIW to see if you have additional insight on current conditions for Tiffin service, the Red Bay extended service network, and Tiffin owners/rigs. Really appreciate your information.

    • @patireland9408

      And now the rest off the story. The 2020 Breeze you toured in this vedio is the coach we ordered through Sherman RV. Rosebud is now safely tucked in for a long Covid stay here in Sunny CA where the tornados and hail can't get her. It is also interesting to note that your 2017 was one that we seriously considered purchasing before we talked ourselves out of that plan. We really were not ready to make the commitment. It took another long trip in the AS and a tour of the Tiffin factory along with excellent pricing from Andy at Sherman RV to get us moving on a new Breeze. That ISB 340 sealed the deal to make the 33BR viable. Your video saw us through a very tough period. Thank you very much for sharing.

    We took the Newmar factory tour where our motorhome was born. The Tiffin factory is very similar it looks like. Were the coaches on air pods so they could be moved easily? That was fascinating to us. It took only two guys to push a motorhome sideways to the next assembly area. Thanks for the tour. Stay safe and healthy.

    When you got to the wiring section, that's where I would have gotten thrown out. I am really disappointed in the wiring of our 2019 Open Road, they need to slow down and do a better job on the wiring. We are waiting now to get in into the dealer for repairs on wiring issues and other things. We love our coach but wish they would have done better on certain things.

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Jan. The Tiffin Service Center will cover warranty work for a year. They will also provide a huge range of service to all Tiffins under 4 years old for extremely reasonable costs (in our experience). Tiffins between 4 and 10 years old have access to Tiffin Express Bays where you have 2 techs for 3 hours. Red Bay and the entire surrounding area is full of independent companies who perform all kinds of work on motorhomes. Most were (or still are) trained and employed by Tiffin.

    Appalling. To my eyes that factory is a dump and a blatant health hazard by comparison to European standards which are lightyears ahead. Cannot believe Tiffen operate like this and are even inviting customers to see it.
